But Bruno is better than Rash.

So F , or A, you can always get him back to Foden starts to rotate

Big night in the Carabao Cup knock out football tonight and tomorrow.

Man City play too, away at Grimsby Town who've drawn a few recently but come off a win against Salford. They play in the grandly titled English Football League Trophy, northern group F.

Premier League teams can enter under21s and are allowed some over age players too. Much to the chagrin of lower league fans who largely boycott the tournament as a result.

I got jwp last week and benched him over estu, fixtures lost five points obviously luck of the draw. but I had Maddison all pre season changed to Ricky last minute so I could have onana. Failed. I think mad jwp mit or mbu should be priority but im sticking with Rick for Bournemouth. Spurs have been a surprise this year so far. Imagine they win the league. Can’t see it but would be funny.

Yeah I’ve got Maddy myself and will add Udogie soon too, have no Brentford so Rashford to Mbeumo or Watkins to Wissa is an option this week for my which frees up funds to get a City defender maybe

    Current transfer thoughts:

    A. Martinelli to Sterling and save 2nd FT
    B. Baldock to Edogie/Gvardiol and save 2nd FT
    C. Do both A+B

Option A is the aggressive move from one good option to another. Option B is the safe play to strengthen defence and better rotation. Ideally looking to have 2FTs over IB but like both moves.

    2FT 2.0ITB
    Pickford
    Estupinan Saliba Chilwell
    Saka Mbeumo Bruno Rashford Martinelli
    Haaland Jackson
    (Turner Archer Baldock Kabore)

A sounds good. Then you will have triple Chelsea for their run of good games. Five players in the Ars-Manu game is a lot, so another argument for A. 2FTs after IB is optimal, especially since it is straight after the transfer window is closed + navigating potential injuries

Sterling v Maddison and the international break…
Both of the above can expect to named in Southgate’s squad.
England play Ukraine (away) in a ‘crucial’ group game and then Scotland away, between GW4 and GW5. I am weighing up Sterling or Maddison in, and starting to think those 2 tough away games for England could result with knocks and possible injuries. With Maddison’s injury record and possibly a starring role and being on the receiving end of some strong challenges, I’m wavering on Maddison. Is this over thinking or worthy of consideration?

    1. Dynamic Duos
      • 13 Years

Definitely worth contemplating, Maddison has already had a knock

The Scotland game could be even more ‘spicy’ than the Euro24 qualifier v Ukraine. It’s the ‘150th Anniversary Heritage Match’ in Glasgow with a 7:45pm ko. We could be watching that from behind the sofa when it comes to English FPL assets getting through that unscathed. It’ll be a full on competitive match, heated atmosphere, etc

Any player can get injured in any game, injury prone or not. I don't expect Maddison to get that many minutes in a Southgate team. Maybe he's at a "top 6" side now he'll start to have an interest in him like others before but I wouldn't be too sure

There's an added dimension in the League Cup football tonight.

It's one leg so can go to extra time, if a team is drawing and going into 120 mins of football that makes it more likely that a first team regular features.

You'd also expect Fulham and Spurs to put out a reasonable side to win today.

Neither will Palace or Bournemouth want to go and lose away at Championship teams. Albeit both Plymouth and Swansea have had tricky starts to their seasons, so far.

I expect both to concede, so it has to be Estupinan. I don't have Colwill but I do have Gusto and Chilwell. I'm playing them all.

Similar to my dilemma! Why not sell Gabriel instead of Colwill?

The 2nd Chelsea defender is blocking my move for Sterling.

    Hi, teatime crew.

Who's the best GK combo (GW4 WC), in your opinions?

Currently torn between Leno/Flekken/Ederson alongside Areola

    Cheers

The cheapest and those that get the most save points. I do like flekken though. Is Henry to MU a real thing ? Read rumours.

"This means that FPL managers could soon be getting a £4.5m version of Kieran Trippier (£6.5m) to whip in some excellent crosses. But it might not be anytime soon...."

Could be soon, might not be soon.

Hall didn't make the match day squad at the weekend. Targett is still at the club, though noises that he could move if someone wants to buy him. Might be some time before Hall is a starter.

As for the Trippier comparisons, I suppose he's more like Trippier than he's like Dan Burn.
