Spurs have the blank but three plumb fixtures but I’m doubting Maddison without son.
    Anyone considering Maddison?

Not for me. They keep feeding Richarlison with enough chances to average out at a goal per game. I'll stick with whoever's Ange's striker for as long as I can

    Alvarez --> Haaland
Hwang --> Gordon (and then bench Saka)

    Current team 2ft

    Areola
    TAA - Estu - Porro
    Saka - Foden - Rich - Gordon
    Solanke - Alvarez - Watkins

    Dubravka - Palmer - Baldock - Beyer

Bring Haaland and De Bruyne for Alvarez and Foden?

So, thoughts on the following plan please...

    2FT, 3.1ITB;
    Dubravka
    Trent, Porro, Estu
    KDB, Bowen, Richar, Gordon, Palmer
    Haaland (c), Watkins

    Areola, Gusto, Doughty, Semenyo

    GW23: Gusto > Trippier, roll 1FT
    GW24: Doughty > Richards (CRY), roll 1FT
    GW25: Semenyo > Joao Pedro, roll 1FT
GW26: Richarlison (blank) > Hee Chan

    1. Zenith UK
      • 9 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

      This would give me a BGW26 team of;

      Areola(BRE)
      Trippier(ars), Estu(EVE), C. Richards(BUR)
      KDB(bou), Bowen(BRE), Gordon(ars), Hee Chan(SHU)
      C-Haaland(bou), Watkins(NFO), J.Pedro(EVE)

      Dubravka(ars), Trent*, Porro*, Palmer*

      With 2FTs going into GW27.

Can you go up to Van Hecke instead of Richards? Doughty should have risen again by then, hopefully giving you the extra 0.1. Brighton have been more solid than Palace recently

I prefer going from Palmer to Hwang in GW25 to selling Richarlison in GW26. The timing is better with fixtures, imo

I wouldn't buy Pedro when Brighton will probably have more players for the de Zerbi roulette by then. How about Cunha for just a bit more, with that very green run of fixtures?

Could be Cunha + Olise + Van Hecke instead of Pedro + Hwang + Richards

Let me have a look at the transfer planner on LiveFPL. Cheers. I think I didn't want to do Van Hecke because of Brighton defensive double to be honest. Also C.Richards so cheap at 3.9, occasionally plays in midfield and has started the last 9 for CRY.

My issue with Richards is that he's probably part of the reason Palace haven't kept a clean sheet in those 9 games. No clean sheet since Doucoure got injured in GW13. Makes me stay far away from Palace defence, regardless of fixtures. See who's been scoring against them

Yeah. I think Semenyo to Cunha can be brought back to GW24 instead, then lose Doughty in GW26

            • 9 Years
            2 years, 1 month ago

Semenyo > Cunha not possible in GW24 if I do Gusto > Trippier in GW23. GW24 FWD price would be 5.1M

Start Bowen & Trippier, bench Trent, with Liverpool in this form? Interesting

It's based on opponents for me, tbh. Liverpool have been conceding against opponents of Arsenal's calibre: Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City

There's always the chance of attacking returns though, but that's also not as great against Arsenal's defence this season. Two points against Trent there, although I'm starting him as my alternatives are Doughty and Emerson

I wouldn't bench Bowen against this season's Man U defence (the Newport game was funny), or Trippier at home to Luton

            I know I said bad week to lose Doughty, but who would you bench so he starts;

            Trent(BUR), Porro(BHA), Trippier(nfo)
            KDB(EVE), Bowen(ars), Richarlison(BHA), Gordon(nfo), Palmer(cry)
            Haaland(EVE), Watkins(MUN)

            Doughty(SHU), Estupinan(tot), Semenyo(ful)

Not as high as Doughty's cross count vs the Sheffield low block

That said, it's fine to bench Doughty anyway 😀

Cunah out of reach by 0.5M if I ditch Palmer in GW25

If I keep Palmer, lose Richarlison for Hee Chan then I can do Semenyo to 6.8M FWD (Cunha for example) and I'd have

        Areola(BRE)
        Trippier(ars), Estu(EVE), Van Hecke(EVE)
        KDB(bou), Bowen(BRE), Gordon(ars), Hee Chan(SHU)
        C-Haaland(bou), Watkins(NFO), Cunha(SHU)

        Dubravka(ars), Trent*, Porro*, Palmer*

With 2FTs going into GW27 but only 1.0M ITB instead of 1.4M which means I could still get Salah but my 4.8M FWD would have to be a 4.4M FWD (give or take price changes)

        1. Ze_Austin

          2 years, 1 month ago

          Okay, understood

          I prefer this though 😀

But do you really need Trippier with Trent? Burn could do a job (and be on your bench sometimes) for far less, allowing more attacking funds

I just look at LUT, nfo, BOU, that's 17th, 16th, 12th (arguably 18th, 17th, 13th if you give EVE their points back) for Trippier to go mad against.

    6. Zenith UK
      • 9 Years

GW27, if I really wanted to push it, I could do Trippier, Hee Chan & Watkins > Burn, Salah & 4.8 FWD (-4)

Please note, I'm more writing these down for me to come back too 😀

GW28 do whatever transfer suits, GW29 FH. GW30, WC?

The issue with Palmer is that we can't predict which version of Chelsea will show up in any given game: sometimes he needs a pen to have any chance of returns, sometimes they look like they'll score four

City with Haaland + KDB is a metronome of chance creation

Brentford analysis excerpt from the article above, showing the logic for my lack of faith in Flekken:

"Facing Man City twice and Liverpool once during their next four matches looks brutal – especially when they’re without a clean sheet in 11 attempts.

Yet strangely they’re the fifth-best team for preventing shots inside the box (175) and conceding expected goals (xGC, 29.83)."

On WC, what changes do you suggest?

    Drubavka

    Morning all.

Any glaring errors with this GW23 line up.
    Most appreciated

    Dubravka

    Konsa Walker TAA

    Jota Gross Saka Palmer

    Haaland Watkins(c) Solanke

    Subs Areola Saliba Gabriel Foden

    Gross ahead of Foden fine?

At least Foden first to the bench. I would play him over Gross 100%

Morning all. I want to do some moves. Thinking about doing Gross and Toney(would get him back for gw 25) to Haaland and Gordon?
Or just do Gross to Gordon/KDB

    Neto
    TAA,Estupinan,Porro
    Foden Saka Palmer Gross
    Watkins Solanke Toney

    Areola,Garnacho,Gabriel,Doughty

Need some opinion here, currently ranked at 11k
    Thanks!

If it’s any worth. I’m considering starting Gross as he is due some points and expect a bounce back performance from
      Brighton.
Home to Palace doesn’t get much better

Captaining Cole Palmer is so tempting. He's a flat track bully and is so explosive being on pens. Wolves very poor xGC

Haaland's the biggest bully there is

...but yeah, I see the logic if you have doubts over Haaland's minutes

This week is so tough to choose a skipper..KDB, Solanke or Palmer 🙁 Also Watkins and Richa can do the damage

Depends on your team set up and value. I'll be waiting 1 more week before bringing Haaland in (and might keep Alvarez and move Watkins out instead)

        Yup

I don't see a reason to pick Robinson over Burn. Van Hecke is a good shout if you need the 0.4 extra, but I expect Burn to outscore 'em

He's my VC, with Haaland capped

Forest is pretty open, and they'll be going for a win in this game so they can't sit back
