What's your thoughts on chips guys?

    Thinking the following:

    GW 25 TC
    GW 29 FH
    GW 30 WC
    GW 34 or 37 BB

Popular chip strategy. FH29 depends on your team and confirmed fixtures for the blank

Yeah, I don't think I'll have much players for 29 so fh seems the move to make.

Actually Shark makes a valid point about FH and WC in consecutive GWs. All team dependant - if you FH29, you could delay WC34/35 and WC30/31 gives you FH34/37.

I dont like the FH and WC right after, imo its better to go for FH in a DGW 34 instead of a blankgw

      I wouldn't FH29 just to WC in 30.

If I FH29, I think I'd look to WC in 33 before DGW34 to try and maximize that chip.

The FH in 29 allows you to keep players from City, Pool etc so you should be able to ride it out until WC33.

Great point actually & by free hitting in 29, the team would still be strong for 2/3 game weeks anyway.

    Hows this

Dubravka Trent Porro Gordon single gameweek

    For

    Kaliski Doughty Ake Jota
    All double

    -12

Do all the doublers score 12 pts more????

It's not just the - 12, you need to factor in the points from the players sold for the transfers to pay off

Nothing confirmed about TAA yet. If we're going on that short clip then the likes of Nunez, VVD and Diaz must be out too because they didn't appear

I'm not basing it on that. Even if TAA plays, I'm not sure he's better to have over the next two weeks than KDB.

            Areola (Turner)
            Guesto, Gabriel, Porro, [senesi,Branthwaite]
            KDB, Foden, Saka, Jota, palmer
            Haland, Darwin, [Archer]
            FT:1, BANK:2.9m

Starts Che, cameo vs Bre and starts Bou. That's what I expected when I bought. But 70, 65 and 70 isn't out of the question, its game state dependancy, which in a lot of these predictiond is a factor which is virtually impossible to know bfh.

Having discounted doing both of these moves for a hit I am now on either or move for this gw:

    a) Solanke > Darwin
    b) Palmer > L Diaz

Leaning towards B as Palmer is arguably more dispensable than Solanke with fixtures and the prospect of WC GW30. But with exact funds to do it so would need to act quickly to avoid being priced out.

    1. Royal5
      • 14 Years

Personally I would lose 0.5 value on Palmer so I would never touch him. Best value player in the game by some distance.

I stand to lose 0.3 on him presently, but I reckon theres a good chance he will drop before the deadline (so leaving a loss of 0.2 on buy back which is more palatable)

Sold Palmer last week for Jota and for 90 mins it was looking the correct call, he’s cheap enough to get back and not be worried about the value, he’ll likely drop a little bit in these next few weeks anyway as there are better mids with doubles & better fixs for this period.

Agree, this is my thinking, and Solanke bridges the fixtures nicely between now and gw30 (City gw26 not ideal but better than a blank)

    Trip TAA Doughty Lascelles Zinchenko

    2M ITB

A little worried about my defense situation because if TAA doesn't play I possibly don't have a third defender assuming Zinchenko isn't back and Lascelles doesn't start.

Was thinking Lascelles to a city or villa defender. Thoughts?

Does anyone else think GW37 could be a great time to use the FH chip. Can pick the players from the team you know are looking for something. There are often one sided matches at that stage in the season as some teams are close to winning something and others are on the beach.

I have a problem to be solve. Does anyone have the answer?

    Here it is:

I have 2FTs and only TAA from Liverpool. I also have Palmer, Richa, Porro and Kabore (yes...) who blank in 26.

Do I have to get Pool players knowing they will probably blank or only play one gale or their minutes are being managed for the cup final?

I can play a nice 11 with 8 single GW-players and 3 city. My idea is to make TAA to Gabriel (I own Saliba) and roll the other FT. Palmer is benched.

    What do you think?

Just count how many games you get in gw25 and 26 to decide.

Probably as simple as that along with probability of starting.

Liverpool have lots of uncertainty and a cup final to try and win with 3 games in 8 days.

I won't lose Jota, especially when Salah minutes are uncertain. Jota is in great touch at the moment.

You could wait till the deadline and do something like TAA —> VVD, and bank the other transfer/avoid a -4. That would be the low-risk, guaranteed reward kind of move

I know now i wish i kept KDB and bought Halland and bought a Luton/Burnley player now at 3.9/3.8 instead of dropping KDB to Jota as he was on the bench 🙁

    Leave this team alone right?

    GW25 - save FT
    GW26 - Cunha, Foden/Jota > Adebayo, Salah

    Dubravka
    Udogie, Estu, Doughty*
    KDB*, Foden*, Jota*, Palmer, Rich
    Haaland*, Toney*

    Areola, Van Hecke, Braithwaite, Cunha

You mean the other way around if Cunha is fit, surely?

    Just playing the logic through...

If you had both Haaland Salah in your 11 and had decided to triple captain in dgw25...

And Klopp said Mo was fit to start at Brentford, who would you rather TC...

    MCI against CHE BRE

    LIV against bre LUT

Plus an extra days rest and no European hame and travel this week for them either.

    A pivotal week or two.

Alvarez rested, as with all prior European games... looking good for more league starts.

Yep Alvarez should start both doubles.

Doubt you pick a defender that does same though. Will be resigned to 1 start for Walker

I think Pep has the hump with him desperately trying to score against Brentford

    TAA + Son => Reguilon + Salah -4?

Reguilon with the target for GW29 but will play in DGW25 also

Unless you have news of Salah starting first game definitely not

Even if TAA is ruled out get a better defender for this week and bring in Jota/Foden/KDB

I think the likes of Gabriel, Trippier and possibly Porro or Estu outscore Reguilon. Nothing against him and will probably get him in a couple of weeks but against Liv and City could easily end up with a binary number

Do not like either defender to bring in that is the case. Trippier has bad fixture in 26 and no in 29.

No, Son just back! And has better fixtures than Salah over next few weeks and Salah won’t start both games in double
