    Any benefit on activating FH for 29 earlier or later in the week? Only one I can think of is intermediate price rises for the FH only but that is a GW29 benefit only right?

                  I did same. Gutted. It was between Watkins and Son - went with form and home advantage and played Watkins over Son.
                  Rest of front Solanke, Haaland, KDB Saka Foden Barkley. It made sense at the time.

      Yep, I'd save but FPL managers like to plan and save FH chips and I'm honestly not sure how much of an advantage it will be later in season! It feels safer to have a chip in your back pocket though!

            Defence may be hit and miss but I want to get the right cheapies for a bench boost and doubles. Think Branthwaite, Gusto, Maguire and Garnacho might be my 4 at the moment

      I think the template will be the front 8 Ricicle has above (though I may go Semenyo over Muniz as the cheap 8th option), which doesn’t leave much room for spending in goalkeepers and defence so it will vary based on team value

      My non wildcard back line with just one downgrade transfer (Porro > Branth) from where I am now to enable me to afford the above attackers would be

      Areola Dub
      Gabriel Doughty Zabarnyi Branthwaite Taylor

      Which isn’t ideal but I think worth it for the premium attackers
