    Benching headache,
I have to bench one of these 8,

Muniz is obvious pick but against NFO I bet he does well

Guys just hear me out, what if I don't captain Salah this gw and go with Havertz or Saka. Nothing to do with stats except for the curse of the most captained player each gw. This season, there has hardly been a haul (if any) for the most captained player.

Logic and superstition fighting against one another, can't decide!

    1. Grounderz
      • 14 Years
      1 year, 8 months ago

You have any stats that we can use to refer to on this? I'm getting the same feeling as well, hardly seen any most captained player haul this season.

No stats unfortunately cos I'm merely just a simple peasant. But I read about this phenomenon in one of fpl's articles. Or it could have been most bought player which is also still Salah. Hope there are some experts with stats that could weigh in on this!

Roughly, you are around 75 points behind from the edges of 100k and 95 from siting comfortably in it.
It is possible of course, but with lots of luck...and if anything you do, turns to gold - maybe even 10k 😉
But don't forget - you can't play safe in that case. I would go for quite few differentials. Especially with that TC chip. (Maybe even next GW with Mo)

This. Big fatigue from the City game and chance of a rest. And the way Son is the focal point and loves an away game, suggests to me Son is as good as Saka this week.

Any Arsenal fans able to shed light on why Harvertz got pushed up to CF position over Trossard? Up until the west ham game in gw24, Havertz was still playing on the left. But since gw25, he has been playing CF. Just wondering if this will likely continue, thanks!

    1. Sospeter

His physicality is vital up top Jesus and trossard can't offer that

    2. Fabreghastly

      Havertz has nailed that spot

The only attribute he had missing when we bought him was confidence. It took a while but Arteta managed to build him up and get the player he wants

He was originally bought mainly for the Xhaka role, I think, but Nketiah and Jesus haven't got everything needed for the striker role so Havertz has made it his

    3. popcoin
      • 13 Years
      1 year, 8 months ago

As above, he offers better physicality, finishing, and is a really good presser too alongside Odegaard. I also think he wanted Havertz as 9 for the big games against Liverpool and City, so he was preparing it a few games before. He is overall first choice for CF at the moment, however another part of it was that Jorginho playing 6 pushed Rice up to 8 which pushed Havertz up to 9. I do have a feeling that against Luton, Jorginho won't play and Rice will drop to 6 and Havertz drop to 8, or get rested. Trossard, Jesus and Nketiah could all come in to fill positions in the front three.

On WC (FH 34 BB37) unable to get to both Son and Saka- which duo from the following would you select ? If A or B Son would come back for doubles in 36/37

    A Saka and Foden
B Ødegaard and Foden ( if risk Saka benched v Luton)
    C Son and Havertz
