I've taken a gamble on Garnacho, think he'll have a breakout season. Bailey probably the safest choice. Nkunku the middle ground. Hopefully, that will help your decision.

Weirdly, I'm on Guehi. Will play for a decent defence, whether it be at Palace or Newcastle.

Please tell me if my logic is flawed

He's a fine pick. Nailed steady 2 or 6 pointer

4.5 is a good price for him. I slightly prefer Konsa though, but Guehi is a good choice.

Think the logic there is fine, and sounds like Guehi is happy to go along with whatever Palace decide so can't really see him missing games

Guehi is a good choice. But if you have Henderson as GK do you want a Palace double up?

Potentially flawed as could be question mark over whether he plays. With another bid submitted by Newcastle, which looks like is under consideration, chance Palace might not start him this weekend.

If / when he signs for Newcastle, he might not start immediately as Howe likes a settled back line. If Schar and Burn start well defensively, I don't think Guehi - despite the cost - would go straight in, though it wouldnt be long.

    Henderson
    Gvardiol, Gabriel, Porro
    Saka, Jota, Eze, ESR
    Haaland, Isak, Solanke

    (Fabianski, Quansah, Johnson, Winks)

    Torn on the back 4:

    A) Henderson, Gabriel, Gvardiol, Porro
    B) Henderson, TAA, Gvardiol, 4.5
    C) Henderson, TAA, Gabriel, 4.5
    D) Henderson, TAA, Zinchenko, Porro
    E) Onana, TAA, Porro, 4.5

    Cheers

If you got Quansah you need to play him gw1. Pretty much the only week where he is almost nailed to start but becomes rotation worry afterwards

OK thanks, I'll probably just swap him out for Hall then - wouldn't fancy benching anyone else (including ESR)

Why would he be a rotation worry after GW1? Isn't he favoured to start because he's performed better/featured more in pre season?

Many teams looking similar at this stage.

I favour TAA due to fixtures and share of set pieces.

With Rodri still getting up to speed makes City much less defensively sound.

I'm very torn on Hall. At first glance he's the pick of the 4.5s

Did a bit of scouring the forums and they were a bit mixed tbh. Mentioning Livramento was favoured at LB at times and Hall only got playing time due to the deluge of injuries.

I think he has a lot more potential upside on Barco/Quansah etc. and could see him long term being fantastic, but with Trippier staying it's a bit hazy

    1. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years
      1 year, 11 months ago

Pretty clear from last season with Howe stating Hall needed to learn what is expected in the LB role.

I think Howe is comfortable playing Hall at LB and I think he is first choice. But I can see Howe changing it when against tougher opposition for more height.

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 7 Years

Pair him with a nailed option for comfort

    2. RAFA THE GAFFA

I have him but it is a gamble. I think he starts GW1 but you are right that Tino could go there. Also if we sign Guehi then he could play LCB and Burn move to LB (especially away from home when Howe likes to tighten up).

      It’s a tough on

      1. Ser Davos
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 11 months ago

yeah, I can't be bothered on transferring the likes of Quansah/Barco

but Hall maybe worth a worst-case-scenario-transfer, all things considered

if I switch to Pope it's only .5 in isolation, but the other changes means money gets lost in coverage terms ie Raya becomes Gabriel etc.
