Not if it means significant sacrifices elsewhere which it would for me, much as I’d love Trent. Hence I’m on Robbo on the wc.

      Yes.

He finished at 8.4 last season and 7.0 is low for what you'll get from him.

If you have the 1m to spare then absolutely get Trent. If you can't, then Robbo is still a good option.

Do you only take out players who aren't performing? Or do you take out performing players to enable getting in other performers?

    1. Hazardous1221
      • 2 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

I have no problem taking out a performing player if I think another player can produce the same who costs less. This can work out well or horribly of course. An example of it working is last season I did Watkins to Solanke way earlier than everyone else because I thought Solanke was better value and it worked really well.

      1. The Tonberry
        • 1 Year
        1 year, 3 months ago

        Both really.

The clear and simpler moves are to move out those who are not performing.

At the same time, I am also considering taking out Saka (who is a performing player) to enable a move to Salah.

Knowing that Salah is about to play 180 minutes getting booted around by Botswana and Cape Verde, I’m slightly reluctant to pull the trigger on him.

I've done Isak > Pedro tonight.

My plan is to wait on the Saka > Salah and eat the 0.1m there for information. My route to Salah looks clearest with Saka > Salah. But let's say Jota gets injured, I might sell him instead and find a way to keep Saka.

If Salah gets injured, I can still get triple Pool by doing 4.5m > Diaz/Szobo which is funded by the Isak > Pedro move.

Because all those eventualities are only possible with the Isak > Pedro move and it's a swing of 0.2m, that's the one you do now.

Hey Camzy, I am torn on whether to get Salah this week or next.

Which combo do you prefer for this week only?

        A.) Diaz (Nfo H), J Pedro (Ips H), Saka (Tot A)
B.) Salah (Nfo H), Muniz (Whu H), Rogers (Eve H)

Sure Salah better than Diaz, but Pedro and Saka trump Muniz and Rogers. I would also be captaining Haaland

        Good luck with your moves!

  19. Hanz0

    Best combo for GW4 only?

    A.) Saka (Tot A), Diaz (Nfo H), J Pedro (Ips H)
B.) Salah (Nfo H), Rogers (Eve H), Muniz (Whu H)

Currently leaning A, and going without Salah for 1 more week (have TAA, Jota and Diaz as coverage) and would be captaining Haaland anyway.

Would then get Salah in for GW5 when he will be the most popular captain and poses the biggest threat.

    Thoughts?

Easier to divert than explain why ypu think Poch is a top class manager.

Man Utd are obviously underperforming given their historic standing but you don't look at the current players and think they should be much higher than 4th-6th. I don't think City, Arsenal or Liverpool would start any of them bar Bruno on a good day potentially.

They should be able to buy players and get a manager who can finish 4th that is my point.

True. How much influence does ETH have in the transfers? The goal scoring side is a big issue. They've worked on the defence but they were 20-30 goals behind everyone above them last season. I don't see where those goals come from with Zirkzee, Hoijlund, etc

Nobody reminisces and thinks hey remember when we finished 3rd in a 2 horse race.

                  Except Pochettino.

Nobody thinks hey remember those semis and finals we bottled.

                  Except Pochettino.

No sorry I'd rather have almost anyone than him.

He's a fraud for sure. Spurs were favourites to win the league with a few weeks to go in what you are right in saying, was a 2 horse race. I was at the game at an already relegated Newcastle when they got gubbed 5-1 and came 3rd in that same race last day of the season.

I dont think theyre underperforming full stop. What they used to win bears no relevence now unfortunately. Theyre 14th after 3 for a reason and Bruno, Mainoo aside, I cant see where the talent is. If they finish 4th-6th, I'll present Blackbox in my undercrackers.

I'll gladly put blame on ETH for the purchases but you're right, there are still too many average or gutless players in that team.

Winning 2 trophies in 2 years is overperforming.

2 trophies should be commended. But with a rich history and ambition, they should be challenging City, Arsenal and Liverpool in the league. Throw in a couple of other teams from Villa, Brighton, Spurs, Newcastle, etc, theyre struggling. Again unfortunately.

                    Manager's fault? Yes
                    Players' fault? Yes
How the club is now run? Yes

Slot wins the baldie manager medal today. Ten Haag's only consolation is that he's not Clement.

        Poch is NOT top class.

Never wins anything yet escapes criticism as he sucks up to the media.

I think with the level of scoring in first 3 weeks, the early it is in the season with so many active players and therefore the price volatility, it is so hard to not trigger the WC.

Im on 241 points so good start, 1 ft and have Salah, Haaland and Palmer and have wrestled with doing it to avoid drops and rises, but am not and am just going to have to suck up Solanke drop, hope Hendo works out for a few weeks and work out a solution or two to Hall, Robinson, etc over next few weeks. Reckon holding WC will be a major advantage in a few weeks, even longer.

Its all about Haaland and Salah on here today it would appear tho. No Haaland is crazy talk, but so many thought could get away with being Salahless til today. Might still be a move.

Yeah that’s exactly it. No Haaland is crazy. But No Salah is hurting.
