    Gakpo -> Watkins?

      Nah

      It's a punt

I'd rather get Jota I think.

With the news Gakpo is now a doubt, would you:

    A) Start Gakpo
    B) Start Amad
    C) Sell Gakpo for a -4 (have Wood and Isak)

      A

But you'd rather have Gakpo home to Wolves than away at Villa

      Tough

A bit of a crunch decision required

    B) Rutter

      Kudus.

Have a dilemma because of Graham Potter, probably the worst manager in PL. That's why I'm believing more in Rutter vs Chelsea than Kudus vs Brentford lol

Brentford not very good away and Kudus is a better player IMO but I see your point.

I'm on Moyes with 1 FT, only 0.2m itb

Is Moyes to Potter at home to Brentford the play for the table bonus now?

    Exactly 5 places apart.

    It's looking pretty appealing tbf.

A table bonus win would beat Emery with a win and a loss easily I think.

Stick with Moyes? That predicted Arsenal front line will struggle and Everton playing well - the table bonus is there without using the transfer.....

The problem of being here and "working"..... I even made a joke on the last page that the Arsenal front line implies Leicester defenders are worthwhile so no idea wtf I was thinking when I wrote the above....

Possibly, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Brentford win. Wissa and Mbeumo on the break vs West Ham’s slow defence is asking for trouble.

West Ham at home to Brentford should be a fair chance of a positive home result for AM...

Ok but still, its DGW and Gakpo has been one of the most in form players this season on FPL. Surely it would be crazy to sell him now? No clear Liverpool sub for him as Jota and Darwin will split minutes and if Cody is injured he'll probably be back for Villa

    Hi Tom,

    My current set up is:

    Sels-Fabianski
    TAA-Gabriel-Munoz-Robinson-O'Shea
    Palmer-Salah-Gordon-Sarr-Winks
    Isak-Gakpo-Wood

    2FT 0.0 ITB

Feel like I really need to sort out my midfield. Any recommendations?

    Waiting on Watkins but thinking:

Thing is Villa are quite strong at home and even if Emery gets a draw it’s quite a big swing there
With Slot you kinda need 2 Ws on the board otherwise you’ll be down 7-10 pts

With Gakpo not in training I'm tempted to sell and bring in Slot.

So, I have 3x Liverpool, no Villa and AM Moyes active. 0.6 ITB and 1FT

    Pickford
    TAA Robinson Mykolenko
    Palmer Salah Gordon Mbuemo
    Mateta Gakpo Isak

    Fab Enzo Mazaroui VDB

    A) Moyes to Slot and Gakpo to Wissa/Wood (up to 7.1m) -4pts
    B) Moyes to Emery
    C) Moyes to Emery and Gordon to Rogers -4pts
    D) Something else

I think Emery will outscore Moyes. Emery might get 5/6 goals across these 2 games alone.

If they beat Pool. Emery will be on like 35 points or something.

Given the Gakpo news, would you start Wood ahead of him?

If he's not 100%, I don't see why Slot would risk playing him in a home game against a bottom-half side with Jota, Diaz and Nunez available.

He could end up getting just 60 odd mins away at Villa.

Is Watkins fit? Yes if he is.

Gakpo knock could be a blessing in disguise for people with 3 pool players. Thinking Gakpo Moyes > wissa slot for a hit. Feel slot will easily outscore emery in the dgw.

What’s the combination to start this week:

    A) Wissa (both West Ham away)

Think Gakpo is still an okay hold.. he’ll get around 100 minutes for the week, is it really worth transferring to Watkins for a hit? Villa aren’t exactly airtight at the back but no wolves at home is quite a bummer (still could get 20-30 minutes if lucky enough)

With respect, I'm not sure he will get 100 mins.

Liverpool have a busy schedule coming up, so I don't see why they'd risk him in a home fixture against a bottom-half side.

It seems the obvious fixture to rest him, especially if he's not 100%.

Hall to Kerkez and bench Robinson? Other two playing defenders are Trent and Munoz

Likely losing Hall to navigate BGW29 anyway, so feels a good time to do it.

Apologies for the lazy question, everyone, but when are the big dgws expected?

I have all my chips available and just wondering if I should trigger my AM chip now so it doesn't block later DGWs. If gw36 is "the big one" then I'll do my AM chip now
