You’ve probably heard about Joe’s much-liked ‘Goals Imminent’ table. You might listen to his and Marc’s Fantasy Football Scout podcast of the same name. Now, Goals Imminent is here in article form!

Heading towards Gameweek 17 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL), these Members Area statistics identify some underachieving players who look ‘due’ for a goal and/or assist.

Naturally, we’ll attempt to assess whether they’re unlucky, suffering a rare blip, or just aren’t particularly good.

LAST WEEK’S SUCCESSES

Goals + assists imminent! Who is 'due' in FPL Gameweek 17? 2

Monday night’s thriller at Old Trafford brought joy to several of our list. We thought Manchester United v Bournemouth would be high-scoring and, sure enough, it finished 4-4.

Evanilson (£7.0m), Matheus Cunha (£7.9m), Casemiro (£5.5m) and Marcus Tavernier (£5.5m) all netted, while the latter also set one up, taking him to 12 points. Tipped for his own assist, Amad Diallo (£6.3m) went one better by bagging the opening goal.

It was strange seeing Erling Haaland (£15.0m) on the table, following three blanks in four. No worries, he simply went on to secure a brace at Crystal Palace. But Nick Woltemade (£7.4m) had a different time, scoring an unfortunate own goal in the long-awaited Wear-Tyne derby.

for Rice to be on 5.4 ppg with only 7 attacking returns, even only 2 goals. he definitely could've had more goals. is it just silly not getting him in?

Think hes better when Gabriel is back because hes the best set piece threat they have. Obviously could be seen as a season keeper but I will hold off a little bit

cheers, true. i expected gabriel to be out for abit longer, sounds like he could be back starting 2/3 GWs time, its kinda put me on the backfoot.

its just i think arteta will really concentrate on the league for time being, i fear rice will kick up another gear to help "carry" arsenal and stave off the city threat

an asset costing 7mil going at 5.5+ ppg, its tough to ignore and not get asap. arsenal's next 5 fixtures seem pretty spread out as well

*i think people maybe overestimate the rotation that happens in this period. it doesnt feel as congested as it used to and even if one of your players are rotated chances are they come on anyway no?

No wait - I don’t like 4-4-2, but it was the only option that kept BF. Missed that it means losing Saka.

        Don’t like any of them

😀 christ just off the top of my head, i cant remember a fulham player going on a run like this/having such a stormer of season since the dempsey days. long may it continue, but i'll stay a non owner and be happy regardless. the pessimist in me thinks he'll slow down quite soon with iwobi and chuk gone

Same thinking here and won’t be swooping for him, sure no way this rate of his keeps up.

Just remembered Zamora for Fulham? He went on quite a hot streak once haha!

    Eze & Burn to...?

    B: Foden & Senesi
    C: Other, please specify

It boils down to who you trust the most.

Mine would be Foden over semenyo. So probably B even though I don’t fancy Bournemouth’s defence. Could be ignorance.

Lovely people of this site, schade or rogers?
Just saw they are the same price point and both could do well in the upcoming weeks...

The lovely peeps are in such a small minority on this site I'm afraid you won't receive many responses.
Schade is really interesting this week and beyond, I bought him in.
I own Rogers also as I am on the Villa charge brigade and the evidence
      backs it up.
If I had to chose one over the other I would go Rogers.

    Which is the best option?

    A) Play Enzo (a New)
    B) Use 3 transfers to get Semenyo (still have 5 in hand but wanted to save for changes next week)
    C) Enzo to Tavernier
    D) Enzo to Kluviert
