NOTES

  • With very few standout clean-sheet opportunities this week, I’m tempted to take a cheap punt on Efraín Morales in defence. Montreal have allowed the lowest home xGA in the league so far, which gives the move more upside than it may first appear.
  • The money saved from the Morales move also lets me strengthen other areas of my squad. The unstoppable Evander currently replaces Hany Mukhtar in midfield, while Gabriel Pec comes into attack ahead of LA Galaxy’s clash with league strugglers Sporting Kansas City.
  • Elsewhere, I’m also considering Guilherme, as I expect the Real Salt Lake vs Houston match to produce plenty of goals. However, I also like Marcel Hartel this week against an LAFC side struggling badly for form.

NOTES

  • Make sure you keep at least three outfield players in the final kickoff window this week. That setup gives you the best chance to maximise your bench options.
  • My goalkeepers will stay unchanged for this round.
  • In defence, I plan to bring in Agyemang Morrison from Charlotte FC, Manu Duah from San Diego FC, and Noel Caliskan from Real Salt Lake. All three offer strong bonus-point potential alongside decent clean-sheet odds in a week with very few standout defensive options.
  • My midfield currently stays unchanged. However, both Diego Luna and Guilherme look like excellent options this week.
  • Up front, I’m aiming to bring in Gabriel Pec to target Sporting Kansas City, who continue to concede heavily and currently allow around three goals per game. Anders Dreyer also stands out against an Austin FC side missing Brendan Hines-Ike. Meanwhile, Martín Ojeda remains under consideration against a weakened and depleted Philadelphia Union defence.

NOTES

  • Week 12 delivered 133 points and another green arrow, which moves me up to an overall rank of 122.
  • There’s a change in goal this week. Andrew Thomas keeps his place for Seattle, while Hugo Lloris makes way for JT Marcinkowski of LA Galaxy. The Galaxy face Sporting Kansas City, who have comfortably been the worst side in the league so far.
  • In defence, I’ve moved on from Silvan Hefti following his red card suspension. Despite the sending off, he still managed an assist and finished with seven points, which sums up his recent form nicely. Replacing him is Harbor Miller of LA Galaxy.
  • Elsewhere at the back, Will Sands drops out for his teammate Mamadou Fofana. The rest of the defence remains unchanged, with Mathías Laborda, Anthony Markanich, and Alex Roldán all keeping their places.
  • There are no midfield changes for this midweek round. Evander, Carles Gil, Guilherme, Nick Fernandez, and Rodrigo De Paul continue in the middle of the park.
  • Up front, Rafael Navarro makes way for Gabriel Pec, who faces a Sporting Kansas City side that have conceded more goals than any other team in the league this season.
  • Meanwhile, Philip Zinckernagel drops out for Paul Judd, while Lionel Messi comfortably keeps his place in attack.
  • Captaincy will stay on Messi.

NOTES

  • I scored 133 points in Gameweek 12, which brought another green arrow and moved me up to 114th overall.
  • In goal, I’m currently planning to stick with my goalkeeper pairing despite both facing tougher fixtures this week. At the moment, I don’t see enough upside elsewhere to justify using a transfer there.
  • Defence feels tricky this round, mainly because there are very few standout fixtures to target. Because of that, I’m leaning towards rolling with the same back line again, made up of Iago, Mamadou Fofana, Mathías Laborda, Anthony Markanich, and Jackson Ragen.
  • In midfield, Hany Mukhtar hasn’t really delivered since I brought him in, so I may look to move him on. Right now, Kristoffer Velde, James Rodríguez, and Evander are all under consideration as possible replacements.
  • The rest of the midfield should remain unchanged. Carles Gil, Nico Fernández, Diego Luna, and Guilherme all keep their places for now.
  • Up front, Lionel Messi remains locked in my team until the World Cup break. Meanwhile, I could sell Hugo Cuypers for someone like Gabriel Pec, who faces a Sporting Kansas City side that conceded six goals at the weekend.
  • As for Sergi Solans, he currently stays in the squad. However, if funds allow later in the week, I may look to upgrade him.

NOTES

  • After a disastrous Gameweek last round, which dropped me down to 12th overall, I need a big response this week. These are currently the moves I’m most likely to make ahead of the deadline.
  • My main focus this round is targeting LA Galaxy players against Sporting Kansas City, who remain the worst side in the league defensively. Because of that, I’m bringing in both Joseph Paintsil and Harbor Miller.
  • My third transfer will likely be Christopher McVey from San Diego FC. Their recent form hasn’t been great, but the fixture this week still looks decent. I also feel they’re due a turnaround soon, so I’d rather get ahead of that before everyone else jumps on.
  • The other two moves are more safety-focused. Both Evander and Carles Gil punished me badly last round, so bringing them in now feels like the sensible play.
  • Making way are Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Jackson Ragen, Albert Rusnák, Hany Mukhtar, and Hugo Cuypers.
  • The main reason for selling Mbokazi is the growing concern about his minutes. With benchings now becoming a real possibility, he feels like an easy transfer out.
  • Meanwhile, both Ragen and Rusnák face a difficult fixture against San Jose, so I can easily see myself moving away from the Seattle double-up this week.
  • As for Mukhtar, he simply hasn’t delivered consistently enough this season. Combined with another difficult fixture, I’m happy to move on.
  • Finally, selling Cuypers feels more like a luxury move than a necessary one. However, it does give me the funds needed to heavily target the LA Galaxy attack against Sporting Kansas City.
