Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has launched for the 2026/27 season, so let the first-draft team reveals begin!
This time, we here from Dan Wright, who you can find here on X. Dan has five top 10k finishes, which means he ranks 30th in our Career Hall of Fame.
Can't work out if Kroupi is overpriced or a bargain
All depends on where he lands to be honest, if he goes to Arsenal, yep an absolute bargain. Not sure Bournemouth will be quite the same this year as they have a thin squad and will have Europa League Thursday nights to contend with. I am considering him though!

The Opening Day League is now closed (with 618 teams entering before the deadline), but here are some more mini-leagues for ELIGIBLE teams to enter, with their new league codes for 2026/27:
Note that View League Codes in the left-hand column of the FFS Home Page has not yet been updated and still contains old links and league codes from the 2025/26 season.
Top 10k Any Season (league code amphx4) is only for teams with at least one overall top 10,000 finish.
Multiple Top 10k Finishes (league code g69zt9) is for teams with two or more top 10,000 finishes.
Top 0.15% Any Season (league code 8u59ye) is a new mini-league, for teams with at least one %Finish of 0.0% or 0.1% (0.0% means top 0.05% and 0.1% means top 0.15%).
Last season 6,524 teams finished in the top 0.05% and 19,583 in the top 0.15%, but 15 years ago an overall rank of about 3k-4k was required to finish in the top 0.15%.
Chabs’ Sub 1% Career Average (league code rwf93g) is another new one, for teams with a Career Average in their Gameweek History of 0-0.9%.
Mini-league administrators are invited to add details of their own mini-leagues or competitions if they think they might be of interest to the FFS community.

any multple top 0.15% finish leagues ?
No, unless someone else starts one - I wouldn't qualify for it myself.
We have 11 teams in Top 0.15% Any Season so far.

'Multiple Top 1k Finishes' - Any manager with more than a single finish in the Top 1k (league code - 75rtvx)
Just as a footnote...I tend to wait for the season start before I get around to checking everyone's new Career HoF ranks en masse - but for any managers entering the 3 leagues that don't qualify, just know that I'm the Liam Neeson of FPL mini-league elistism..."I will look for you, I will find you, and I will boot you".

No. The deadline was 24 hours after the launch, so everyone had an equal chance of joining within that 24 hours whatever their time-zone.

The Fixture ticker predicts that Arsenal will score 19.52 goals in the opening 8 matches = 2.44 per game.
Not seeing any Arsenal attackers in the drafts on here.
I have Gyökeres alongside Haaland myself.

Fixture ticker needs to give its head a shake. Last season 1.86 goals per game and feels like ARS will start slow with returnees from WC and likely a more restrictive refereeing approach

I am almost tempted when I see the team you can make without him. Telling myself if Haaland blanks then i'm laughing. But its having the balls to go through with it.
It basically comes down to something like Haaland + 2 x low to mid tier players VS 3 x high to premium tier players.
Something like...
1) Haaland + Sarr + Schade
2) Isak + Saka + Palmer
Personally, I think option 2 looks much better.
Think this is pretty nice for a draft with all three big hitters:

Not settled on it, I'm inclined to sacrifice Gabriel and go with Raya to cover Arsenal defence.
