There are just three Gameweeks remaining until qualifying for Mondogoal’s £30,000 World Championship slams shut.

Forty places remain up for grabs for the final day contest that will dish out no less than £10,000 to the Championship winner.

There’s still plenty to play for, then, and you can join us this weekend as we attempt to get in the hat for the big end of season prize by entering one of the qualifying contests, or compete for the weekly £1000 prize pot.

The £30,000 World Championship

How Does it Work?

So far, there are 130 qualifiers in place for the final Gameweek contest. To get involved, you need to win one of Mondogoal’s £30k qualifying contests. You can enter these for just £2.

How Do I Enter?

Mondogoal are running three more qualifying contests this weekend. You have until 12.35 on Saturday to select your line-up for either the £2, £10 or £50 contests.

If you’re consistent with your picks you may even be able to progress with more than one team – you can have up to ten entries in the Championship final come May.

Don’t forget, you can enter multiple contests with the same Mondogoal line-up with the click of a button.

Having multiple teams will obviously increase your outlay but, with the ability to block out defences, you’ll certainly be increasing your chances of hitting a big score.

Once you’ve created your squad for one contest, go to your list of entries, click on a contest and then click “Enter This Line-up in Other Contests”.

If you’re new to Mondogoal and want the inside skinny, be sure to check out our strategy guide here, and our interview with top Mondogoal manager, ChrisDAFC here.

FF Scout Gameweek 35 Picks

mg

After opting to turn our backs on Eden Hazard for the previous two Gameweeks, we’re not going to take our chances ahead of the Stamford Bridge meeting with Palace. Chelsea will be going all out to clinch the title and the scene is set for the PFA Player of the Year to torment the Eagles and hoover up another big Mondogoal tally.

Hazard is joined by Man City’s David Silva in an expensive midfield that shapes the rest of our XI. Fortunately, we’ve been able to unearth some potential budget gems in the form of Swansea’s Nelson Oliveira and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish. Both have decent form and home fixtures that could see them amongst the goals and points.

Given their current momentum, we’re sticking with a pair of Leicester assets ahead of their meeting with Newcastle at the King Power – both Jamie Vardy and Kasper Schmeichel remain keenly priced and warrant inclusion. Meanwhile, we’re backing Arsenal’s goal power by going straight to the likely source up front – the 11.5 valuation of Olivier Giroud looks kind.

West Ham’s pair of raiding full-backs fill two of our three slots at the back. The Hammers will host a Burnley side that have notched just once in eight matches and both Carl Jenkinson and, in particular, Aaron Cresswell, have the attacking threat to return at both ends.

United’s Luke Shaw and Marouane Fellaini complete our XI as we tip Louis van Gaal’s side to recover from their Goodison setback with goals and points when West Brom pay visit to Old Trafford.

We’ll likely be tinkering with this initial lineup right up until Saturday – a reminder that the deadline for Mondogoal squads this weekend will be 12.35, just before the early kick-off at Leicester.

Click here to sort your lineup.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Get rid of Fabregas, Sterling or Coutinho for Sanchez? Or save? Don't have any Ars cover at the moment

FFS community. I need your help now more than ever. This will be the week that decides who wins my ML. I am currently ~40 points behind two rivals but have momentum. We have very similar teams so I really can't get Sanchez as they both have him.

    My team:

    Myhill
    Clyne, Terry, Skrtel
    Fabregas, Hazard, Sterling, Silva
    Vardy, Aguero, Kane

    Foster Boyd, PVA, Wollscheid

    What are the best options.

    (A) Silva to Ramsey
    (B)Silva to Ozil
    (C) Silva to Ramsey/Ozil and Kane to Giroud

Hold until next week - use this weekend as a scouting opportunity! I'm (perhaps wrongly) not sold on Sanchez. His price is too high for the points he's been earning lately, when compared to the other ARS mids. If you're chasing, a gamble elsewhere in the Arsenal team may be the differential you need.

Hey guys, I wonder if you old hands or Fantasy Pro's could give me a tip or two?

This is my second season in Fantasy football, last year I had fun, and finished 200k or somewhere. This year I have tried to be more active on this site, and talk to people about tactics etc. I was skimming around 10k for a while, and last week I bumped up to 6k. I would to try and finish the season as strong as possible, any tips? hints? what kind stuff should i be doing for end of the season strategy?

ps. I just played my wildcard, so feel free to include (bring this player in right now!!!!)

Apologies for the RP, I was overshadowed by someone a lot more important than I!

Not this week. I don't see Sunderland doing much (if anything) against Southampton. Plus if you wait a week you'll have a bit more information on whether Wickham is really coming into form, or if it's just a flash in the pan.

Ah hah - in which case, getting rid of Hendo may be better than getting rid of Vardy, as Liverpool may have nothing to play for by that stage.

Honestly though, I can't see any Sunderland player being worthwhile. Their DGW is against LEI & ARS (the two form teams), and then their GW38 is away at Chelsea, who may be fielding a reserve team that are eager to impress the boss (or may just want to celebrate the title by winning the last game of the season). I'm probably going to steer clear of Sunderland in week 37, but then, I did that for Hull last week, and look how that turned out!!!!

No doubt I'll hold Pants for his save points (expecting lots) but as for any of the others I think the jury is still out and it's looking like a long long debate in the jury room.
Wickham if he's fit I guess. Defoe is just too risky for me and Larsson more likely to get two yellows than two assists.

56 point lead. Last 4 game weeks. Is this still capable of being overtaken? Should I start blocking and transferring in the same players my main rival has? And captain Hazard this week?

    Fab and Austin out
    Alexis and Giroud in.

    Good transfers?

I think you're looking very safe. Transfers look good as well.
If he has any potential big hitters that you don't have copy him there but with your lead I wouldn't take hits to do so

I'm chasing a 30 point lead and my ML leader has Giroud and Sanchez. I have Ramsey and plan on bringing in Sanchez next GW.

For this GW, should I do:

    A) Austin ➡ Giroud (and match ML leader)

    or

    B) Austin ➡ Benteke (and get a differential over him)

    1. @FPLStrategist

I'd go Benteke if I'm being honest. Reasses in GW37.

Decent at the back, but very strong in attack. Subs in correct order.

Carrick and Rojo out means either Blind at lb or Blind CB as part of a back 3

Could also mean Rooney CM again

I have a feeling Young will play LB, Blind CDM, ADM LW and Rooney up top.

    Mignolet (Myhill)

    Bertie Terry Monreal Cresswell

    Hazard(C) Coutinho Ramsey

    Vardy Kane Aguero

    .9 ITB, 1FT.

Bertrand --> Wasilewski, bank the money for Sanchez/Giroud for the DGW?

Yea im not too sure about the GKs so will have a think. I am sticking but couple of people have said to get Giroud in - only way is to take -4 hit

If you are starting Alder. Spread the risk and start Schmeichel.

    Davis Gilks
    Clyne Ivanovic Moreno Dawson Hutton
    Hazard Fabregas Silva Henderson Puncheon
    Aguero Kane Giroud

    1 ft. 0.5 itb

    A) Silva to Ramsey
    B) Silva and Puncheon to Sanchez and Cork -4
    C) Save

Tempted by B because I am 57 points behind my rival and Sanchez has the potential for big scores. I can't think of any other way to bridge the gap. Thoughts? Cheers.

    A) Keep Remy (PVA 1st sub)

    B) Remy -> Giroud -4

Bit off topic sorry but just wanted to share this brilliant conversation that my 3-year-old had with his mother earlier!

Son: Why is daddy older than you?

Mum: Because he was born first.

Son: (starting to cry): But I don't want him to be older than you!

    Mum: Buy why?

Son: Because I want you to die first.
