With the season now in full swing, we begin to adjust our sights when it comes to the statistical analysis available to our Members. We’re set to focus on specific players and teams a good deal more from now on.

Today’s article is a case in point – all eyes were on Mikel Arteta at the Emirates this weekend and Fantasy managers will have been keen to assess how he settled amongst his new team-mates and, indeed, how he fared when it comes to the key performance statistics.

We delve into his ICT Index figures then, drilling down into the Opta data to investigate how Arteta at Arsenal compared to his typical Everton displays of last season, and assess his potential from this point.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      I brought him in for the QPR game, he played very deep for most of the game, to be fair Newcastle rarely had the ball! Im going to persist with him my season cant get any worse...... Ryan Taylor hogged the freekicks last night!

      Cabaye is doing pretty well, some great passes, but also has misplaced some, i think he come good but last night newcastle shuld have been absolutely destroyed..

    Benayoun starting tonight is a good an indicator as any that Arteta won't be playing the furthest forward of Arsenal's midfield.

    And considering he controlled the game on Saturday, and didn't get bonus says that he won't pick those up as regularly as he used to either.

    Provided he's not as crap as he was vs. Swansea, Walcott is a better bet.

    Panicked when I got home from playing with my band at 20.27 and realized I wanted a team in this. Managed to select Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, S De Jong, C Eriksen, Jadson, Hazard and someone else and then had to go for an auto complete to fill it up before deadline. Phew!

      It really is a mess, I moved the team line up out of the fixture window and when I went back into look at another fixture the team window was not visible, I had to select it again, I like what they are trying to do, it just doesn't work too well!
