    This year feels so much more predictable and less competitive. There have been a lack of big name signings that would be good for fantasy. Everyone this year pretty much has the same players. I remember I separated last year because I brought in Sanchez before everyone knew what he was made of and and I captained him two weeks in a row where he scored 4 goals. I feel like if we fall 40 points behind early then we are screwed since we don't really have that x factor player

      Really? I think it's the complete opposite. So many lower priced options, everyone has a different one unlike Siggy last year. Rest of midfield too, everyone had Fab last year, now all spread out over Sterling Silva Wally Santi etc. Same with defence.

        Everyone will have Sanchez, Kun, and Hazard in the couple of weeks. I did forget about the chips but even then, they will all be used during DGW and we will all probably use them on the same players..

    The Friday FPL deadline is strange. I don't know if I really like it.
    We'll have to get used to it for next year...

      Depends on the player. X transfers needed for rise. About 10% selling for a drop.

      Most of those who fall are only owned through auto-complete.
      The others players falling in price are pre-season bandwagons who didn't start gw1.

      Early season, active players clear out dead wood. 10% ownership to fall is an easier threshold than 75k new owners for a rise. In time, most of the fallers will be very obscure players.

      They use different measures. Price rises are based on a proportion of total active FPL players, while price fallers are based on a proportion of each player's ownership.       I think so. From what i recall-

      Falling- this depends on a certain % of transfers out, for example 10%. So easy for a player like Wolfswinkel to drop. Say owned by just 50,000 people then just 5,000 transfers out equal a drop

      Rising- This is based on a total of transfers in (think it used to be the same for all players but really not sure anymore)

      Note- this may be totally wrong and others please correct!
