We delve into the members data this evening after the Gameweek came to its conclusion last night. Stoke, Southampton and Watford’s forwards all come under analysis, whilst Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez make a strong claim for immediate investment on the back of their weekend showings.

Wouldn't RB will raking more CBI playing against all that winger?

I don't get it. There are right winger too.

Why RB should rake more CBI?

Left wing is generally stronger across the league.

        They are mostly left winger.

That based on assumption the duel will be more on that side (RB), so wouldn't they got more potential for CBI (or BAPs)?

If ManU move Depay wide left like they did today, I actually like Shaw because he'll be on that side and more involved in final third play.

      Just my two cents.

Right. And Shaw had 28 BPS to Darmian's 29. Not much to separate them, in my opinion.

Disagree entirely. Depay doesn't track back and so Shaw is corralled more. Now if Pedro comes in (when he comes in?) and plays LW and they move Depay back centrally, THEN Shaw becomes better because Pedro can defend.

I'm not going to give away members' stats, but trust me that in the Villa game Shaw got a LOT more touches in the final third than Darmian.

Ha. Fair enough. But I've never created a table and need to work on how to do that and make it public.

Just run a comparison of Shaw and Darmian, limit it to the current gameweek, and check out the stats. Trust me, I was surprised too 🙂

        Decent points.

I think both can offered something if given chances to roam forward especially Darmian (spend more time at RM/LW/RWB/LWB) last season.

The only thing that concerned me is his Yellow Card.

Right. Admittedly, it's awfully close. I'm probably just trying to justify Shaw over Darmian to save the 0.1, which I need to make the rest of my team work. So there's that 🙂

Gomez is probably the fashionable pick but Richards has a lot of things going for him. Completely nailed, offers more bonus potential, and looks like a decent goal threat.

I realise Gomez got a 3 bonus but that was on the back of 'assisting' a wonder goal

I love how Chelsea players have completely disappeared from our teams, I know they aren't performing well but they are the champions and shouldn't be taken lightly. It's not like they are a struggling team fighting to not get relegated. They good become very good differentials in the coming months as well since the future dead teams will have probably got rid of them all. Something to ponder on.

For sure. But as champions they have been priced accordingly and when performances don't match up they start to look expensive very quickly.

They seem to have issues at both ends of the pitch and all is not well with morale it seems.

YAYA vs Silva is a toughie on WC. Think i've decided on Silva as i really don't trust Man City to not sign another attacking mid before September, which would likely push Yaya deeper. Someone tell me thats valid reasoning... please

Yaya is already part of the deeper midfield two, but has license to get forward. Navas is the one likely to drop out for another attacking midfielder. It shouldn't effect Toure. Overall, it's your choice depending on who you think will score higher.

Depend on what formation you are using.

Right now there is more player in lower bracket price worth investing to especially in midfield, so money really not an issue.

      interesting theory

But what happens to the other positions? A bad example but:
Silva + Rooney vs Yaya + Aguero?

It doesn't factorized other position, because most people undecided on player in the same position.

As in Kolarov or Kompany, Silva or Yaya, Shaw or Darmian.

Also you should put your priority, in this case (Aguero v Rooney) - should be decided first.

Once downgrade wouldn't that against your theory then?

It's not really a theory but an easy fix if you make the wrong choice on those players.

You picked Silva, but Yaya perform - you can easily downgrade to him.

You picked Yaya, but Silva perform - will be hard to upgrade.

Guys is this looking ok ????

    Schmeichel

    Cédric/Clyne/Bellerín

    Sánchez/Ayew/Mané/Payet

    Agüero/Benteke/Gomis

Sorta wanting Depay because of tonights performance and the fact he's playing Newcastle
will bring in yaya after this week

    Best option?

    A. YYT & Benteke

    B. Silva & Diouf

    Have Kun already 🙂

      A) YYT in form it seems and can keep pace with Silva in the short term. Tekkers will outscore Diouf over the medium to long term but Diouf is in fine form atm

I've finally taken the hit I've been pondering the last 36 hours and this is my team now, rather happy with it and WC in tact 😀

    Myhill [Hennessey]
    Kolarov, Gomez, Muniesa/Huth, [Targett]
    Hazard, Silva, Depay, Mahrez [Bentapleb]
    Aguero, Pelle, Sakho

With wildcard intact that is a lovely team. In some ways I actually prefer it to my wildcard team just because you have players I don't feel I can justify on wildcard but that will do well 🙁

Depay's the only one I'd absolutely swear by at the moment. His shot volume is incredible and well you saw the quality of his goals today. Best 8.5 in the game IMO

Did the same 2 days ago, the only thing i'm worried about is Alexis on Monday night. Could get ugly for us non owners

Hazard and Alexis are the only two I'm really watching this weekend, if I'm okay as is, then I'll likely roll my FT barring injuries.

Hi all, I have 0.5 and don't know what to do with it, in the meanwhile can you RMT by any chance? I wildcarded.

    Courtouis - McCarthy
    Darmian - Kolarov - J.Gomez - Bassong - Francis
    Alexis - Silva - Mane - Mahrez - Westwood
    Aguero - Diouf - Gomis

Current WC to be set before the weekend / after price rises:

    Butland / McCarthy

    Kompany / Shaw / Williams / Richards / Targett

    Sanchez / Depay / Payet / Mahrez / ????

    Aguero / Gomis / Diouf

Have no idea who to put as my 5th mid. I have 7.2 to spend

I'm taking a hit and thinking of:

Rooney, Ivanovic and Walcott to Gomis, Kompany and Silva.

Should I get Sanchez instead of Silva?
