We delve into the members data this evening after the Gameweek came to its conclusion last night. Stoke, Southampton and Watford’s forwards all come under analysis, whilst Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez make a strong claim for immediate investment on the back of their weekend showings.
Wouldn't RB will raking more CBI playing against all that winger?
*Darmian v ShawBoth good... But darmian just
I don't get it. There are right winger too.
Why RB should rake more CBI?Left wing is generally stronger across the league.
They are mostly left winger.
That based on assumption the duel will be more on that side (RB), so wouldn't they got more potential for CBI (or BAPs)?
yeep
If ManU move Depay wide left like they did today, I actually like Shaw because he'll be on that side and more involved in final third play.
Just my two cents.Depay played left v Villa
Right. And Shaw had 28 BPS to Darmian's 29. Not much to separate them, in my opinion.
Disagree entirely. Depay doesn't track back and so Shaw is corralled more. Now if Pedro comes in (when he comes in?) and plays LW and they move Depay back centrally, THEN Shaw becomes better because Pedro can defend.
I'm not going to give away members' stats, but trust me that in the Villa game Shaw got a LOT more touches in the final third than Darmian.
I'm a member, link me to the table..I definitely remember hearing this so I believe you but I'd like to see it 😉
Ha. Fair enough. But I've never created a table and need to work on how to do that and make it public.
Just run a comparison of Shaw and Darmian, limit it to the current gameweek, and check out the stats. Trust me, I was surprised too 🙂alright brb
Decent points.
I think both can offered something if given chances to roam forward especially Darmian (spend more time at RM/LW/RWB/LWB) last season.
The only thing that concerned me is his Yellow Card.Right. Admittedly, it's awfully close. I'm probably just trying to justify Shaw over Darmian to save the 0.1, which I need to make the rest of my team work. So there's that 🙂
Gomez or Richards
Gomez is probably the fashionable pick but Richards has a lot of things going for him. Completely nailed, offers more bonus potential, and looks like a decent goal threat.
I realise Gomez got a 3 bonus but that was on the back of 'assisting' a wonder goal
I can't decide which K in the City defence that I should go with.
Keep Kompany in the squad and hope for the 2nd rise then.If you want to keep City defence for long term, then keep Kompany and don't sell.
I actually wanna go with Kolarov, but just not sure if his rotation with Clichy will happen again.
Unless your bench defenders are capable to replace him, and willing to gamble to lose an FT to replace him if Clichy instead of him get the starting place.
I think it will at some point down the track, Clichy will get game time eventually
Am i correct in saying that from this point there are unlikely to be any double risers?
(This week)
no
silva?
Gomis, Mahrez, Yaya
Mahrez, Yaya and Aguero will likely go up another .1 this week.
All those that have already risen shall not rise again.ok cheers, yaya vs silva is frustrating me!
Thoughts guys?
Guzan (Myhill)
Cedric Williams Darmian (Muniesa) (Oxford)
Silva Redmond Sanchez Payet (Wanyama)
Gomis Aguero Lukaku
ThanksMorning guys.
Fplstats now blocked at the office. May I know who are the potential risers/fallers?Darmian, Mccarthy, Gomez, Richards, Silva, Shaw, Mahrez, Kolarov, Gomis up
88 down including: Sterling, Mane, Francis, Caz, Fab, JT, Milner88 :ozil:
No Haz or Sinclair?Haz -76.4, Sinclair -109.8
darnit 😛
Sinclair yup (-109%)
Hazard by Saturday (-76%)
Can you set proxy?
nope. Actually no idea 😛
Use your mobile phone then 😛
I love how Chelsea players have completely disappeared from our teams, I know they aren't performing well but they are the champions and shouldn't be taken lightly. It's not like they are a struggling team fighting to not get relegated. They good become very good differentials in the coming months as well since the future dead teams will have probably got rid of them all. Something to ponder on.
Couldn't agree more.
I've kept one Chelsea backline. If there's one thing mourinho will work on , it's not conceding first
Totally agree
Hazard will score 2 this weekend and all of a sudden people have used their WC and panicking to get him in
Didn't score 2 in the prem in a single game all last season.
When was the last time Hazard scored two goals?!
I actually have the armband on hazard atm
this. Just don;t feel like captaining Kun
For sure. But as champions they have been priced accordingly and when performances don't match up they start to look expensive very quickly.
They seem to have issues at both ends of the pitch and all is not well with morale it seems.
RMT PLEASE
Mig (McCarthy)
Darmian Williams Kolarov (Richards/Targett)
Silva Sanchez Payet Ayew Mahrez
Aguero Sakho (Wilson)
Any room for improvement?
Thanks in advance!Prefer Gomis over Ayew. Redmond for Ayew Sakho for Gomis
Are you still not convinced about Man Utd defence coverage? Then, you must watch the following:
http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/9954724/uniteds-defensive-problems-solvedyes, Van Gaal's great defensively but I'll wait til week 11
I couldn't resist but get Shaw in my team :'( do you know by any chance any decent 4.5 that rotates well with a MUN defender?
Francis(Bou) or Muniesa(Sto)
Thank you so much buddy
Any love for Courtois at 5.4?
On WC and can afford him and Kolarov; or Hart and 5.5 (got Darmian already).I think Chelsea really needs to pick it up, and they will do just that. Also, Courtois is a great option at 5.4
Why is Darmian a lesser risk than Shaw?
because darmian doesnt have a natural right back to challenge his position..
Lesser risk as in?
I think he's bigger risk, as he seems like a card magnet.my bad, i meant as in not starting games. i agree with the disciplinary concern
Both seems like an equal risk then, Valencia (RB) and Blind + Rojo (LB).
But currently, they playing very good, so it's safe for now imo. That's not equal 🙂
It actually is, because one of Blind or Rojo will be playing as CB?
Fair point actually! +1
Shaw had a lot of injury problems so perhaps there's a bit of fear about that?
Less competition for his place. I would assume less injury prone than Shaw too.
and adding the BPS factor as well, you are still opting for Shaw?
Yeah, I probably wouldn't follow me, but I have my reasons.
Shaqiri and Zarate or Diouf and Montero/Shelvey?
number 2
RMT Out of 10 Please
Courtois/McCarthy
Williams/Huth/Richards/Cameron/Targett
Depay/Payet/Silva/Montero/Albrighton
Costa/Gomis/Aguero(C)6/10. Downgrade costa, courtois and montero. swap albrighton for mahrez
oh and spend the money on upgrading huth to darmian/shaw
Costa not worth it. Also could get sent off any game. Midfield not strong enough.
YAYA vs Silva is a toughie on WC. Think i've decided on Silva as i really don't trust Man City to not sign another attacking mid before September, which would likely push Yaya deeper. Someone tell me thats valid reasoning... please
Yaya is already part of the deeper midfield two, but has license to get forward. Navas is the one likely to drop out for another attacking midfielder. It shouldn't effect Toure. Overall, it's your choice depending on who you think will score higher.
Voice of reason. Not sure i can justify silva really
Yaya's cheaper and has more points, that's enough for me.
Casually strolling to the top of my workplace league!
How did Rooney do tonight?
Depay looked quality from what I've seen.better than in last PL game.... should have an assist but Depay missed easy chance
Courtesy of @BeardedGenius: "Not Memphis' fault. Who was to know that Rooney would do a good thing"
Okazaki, Vardy, Deeney, Ighalo or wilson?
Is there any chance of baba rahman starting next gw against wba?
i think he is gonna start and azpi will go to RB both terry and iva will be rested
Small chance
Is it worth doing target to baba rahman?
Good thing about Yaya is he enables Sacnhez and Hazard, with Silva this becomes mighty difficult!
Aguero too?
Does this team have Aguero as well? Got to be impossible!
Not impossible but yes its' not pretty!
Then you better be good at picking the right captain
same! Have Aguero and Sanchez. I want Hazard, but then I have to go Silva> Yaya. And I really want Silva too. Dont know what to do yet. Silva or Hazard has to go. Who?
Right. Im doing a tattoo sleeve only team. Nailed on players. Fill in players you know.
Gk.Howard.
Def. Kolarov. Clyne. Skrtel.
Mid. Depay. Shelvey. Firmino.
Fdw. Wilson.Toby
Mason
RMT out of 10 please guys.
Guzan (Myhill)
Cedric Williams Darmian (Muniesa) (Oxford)
Silva Redmond Sanchez Payet (Wanyama)
Gomis Aguero Lukaku
Thanks8.5
Personally think opting for expensive players over cheaper players is the way to go, because it's more flexible and easier to downgrade rather than upgrade.
As in Darmian v Shaw, Silva v Yaya.Too simplistic. What about what you could do with the money saved by getting Yaya
a Bugatti Veyron and still have change
Depend on what formation you are using.
Right now there is more player in lower bracket price worth investing to especially in midfield, so money really not an issue.
interesting theory
But what happens to the other positions? A bad example but:
Silva + Rooney vs Yaya + Aguero? It doesn't factorized other position, because most people undecided on player in the same position.
As in Kolarov or Kompany, Silva or Yaya, Shaw or Darmian.
Also you should put your priority, in this case (Aguero v Rooney) - should be decided first.
Once downgrade wouldn't that against your theory then?
It's not really a theory but an easy fix if you make the wrong choice on those players.
You picked Silva, but Yaya perform - you can easily downgrade to him.
You picked Yaya, but Silva perform - will be hard to upgrade.
Wil smalling rise before next gw?
Guys is this looking ok ????
Schmeichel
Cédric/Clyne/Bellerín
Sánchez/Ayew/Mané/Payet
Agüero/Benteke/Gomis
Sorta wanting Depay because of tonights performance and the fact he's playing Newcastle
will bring in yaya after this weekBest option?
A. YYT & Benteke
B. Silva & Diouf
Have Kun already 🙂A) YYT in form it seems and can keep pace with Silva in the short term. Tekkers will outscore Diouf over the medium to long term but Diouf is in fine form atm
I've finally taken the hit I've been pondering the last 36 hours and this is my team now, rather happy with it and WC in tact 😀
Myhill [Hennessey]
Kolarov, Gomez, Muniesa/Huth, [Targett]
Hazard, Silva, Depay, Mahrez [Bentapleb]
Aguero, Pelle, SakhoThat back line would worry me.
And me
only 3 need to play at any one point and United's fixtures are U-G-L-Y
With wildcard intact that is a lovely team. In some ways I actually prefer it to my wildcard team just because you have players I don't feel I can justify on wildcard but that will do well 🙁
cheers 🙂 who in particular?
Sakho, Pelle, Depay and Hazard.
Depay's the only one I'd absolutely swear by at the moment. His shot volume is incredible and well you saw the quality of his goals today. Best 8.5 in the game IMO
Keep trying!
Oh I'll be here all season 😉
Best non WC team I've seen on here. Very nice.
cheers 🙂
Did the same 2 days ago, the only thing i'm worried about is Alexis on Monday night. Could get ugly for us non owners
Hazard and Alexis are the only two I'm really watching this weekend, if I'm okay as is, then I'll likely roll my FT barring injuries.
Bentapleb ha ha
Hi all, I have 0.5 and don't know what to do with it, in the meanwhile can you RMT by any chance? I wildcarded.
Courtouis - McCarthy
Darmian - Kolarov - J.Gomez - Bassong - Francis
Alexis - Silva - Mane - Mahrez - Westwood
Aguero - Diouf - GomisMane > Depay IMO
The rest of the team look good
Current WC to be set before the weekend / after price rises:
Butland / McCarthy
Kompany / Shaw / Williams / Richards / Targett
Sanchez / Depay / Payet / Mahrez / ????
Aguero / Gomis / Diouf
Have no idea who to put as my 5th mid. I have 7.2 to spendSilva now on 100% to go up .1 Mane at -97 was hoping to see the Saints game on Thursday before making this change grrhhh
Got to make this transfer right?Indeed.
Yeah ditch Mane so i can enjoy his double point haul all to myself
What are the chances of the risers/fallerss actually moving in price!
I'm taking a hit and thinking of:
Rooney, Ivanovic and Walcott to Gomis, Kompany and Silva.
Should I get Sanchez instead of Silva?
