The last-minute August transfer window move to QPR seems to have offered Shaun Wright-Phillips a new lease of life. The winger cut a forlorn figure on the periphery of Roberto Mancini’s title-challenging Man City but, plucked from his Etihad Stadium nightmare by Neil Warnock, Wright-Phillips has been handed the chance to resurrect his career. Under the guidance of a manager with complete faith in his abilities, he is already making an impact at Loftus Road.
Suarez starting for Liverpool tonight.
As a non-owner, this makes me happy.Open Controlshopefully he racks up another petulant yellow

aNYONE ELSE TAKE OUT SUAREZ THIS WEEK. HE SEEMS TO BE GETTING VERY FRUSTRATED
Open ControlsJust checked the watchlist.. Moses and Brunt are surprisingly featured.
I really need to understand for why Brunt is considered GREEN. Fixture?
And.. Moses? Stats of those many weak shots on goal?
Not sarcastic. I really mean to get understand.Open ControlsCaptain?!
Rooney(STO-a) - Stoke are solid at home, but they may be tired from the Carling Cup extra time. On direct free kicks and pens. Can't see a goal fest.
Adebayor(WIG-a) - 3 goals in 2 matches. Against a weak Wigan side, but away from home.
Mata(SWA-h) - Unproven. But home against Swansea must be a good thing! On set-pieces and has looked good in every match.
Dzeko/Nasri(EVE-h) - At home against a struggling Everton side. Possible rotation risk. Possible 4 goals for dzeko.
.
Any ideas guys? I have no idea...Open Controlsi'd go rooney outta those. maybe dzeko with rooney vice cap in the hope of a repeat of the rooneygate flukage of a couple weeks ago
Open ControlsFrom what I saw from Rooney vs Chelsea last week. I decided since last week to captain him in this match. I know it was just my good luck that he missed PK and hit the post.. as I didn't captain him.

Thoughts of this wildcarded team guys?
Krul - Vorm
Bosingwa - Jose Enrique - Brown - Simpson - Gabbidon
Silva - Mata - Arteta - Dyer - B.Johnson
Rooney - Aguero - Adebayor
Feel free to comment with how it could be improved.Open ControlsI'd downgrade B.Johnson to Ferguson and then upgrade Brown to a 5m defender (Villa or Stoke maybe?) or Enrique to Smalling.
Open ControlsWhat's all that Arteta love? I keep seeing him in WC teams, I don't think he'll perform according to his price, I think SWP will do better.
Open Controlsi like it. don't really know who bradley johnson is tho. only thing i'd consider is maybe enrique to BAE. tot 4 liv 0 still resonates. do that and your team will be practically identical to my WC team tho which is undoubtedly a bad thing
Open ControlsWho is BAE?

looks like kelly is fit for liverpool so they have a right back

The Reds team in full is: Reina, Kelly, Robinson, Carragher, Coates, Lucas, Spearing, Maxi, Kuyt, Bellamy, Suarez. Subs: Gerrard, Carroll, Downing, Wilson, Shelvey, Flanagan, Doni.

I have wildcarded, which would you pick?
A) Jose Enrique, Arteta, B.Johnson
B) N.Taylor, Nani, FergusonOpen ControlsA because it does not contain ferguson
Open Controls
Suarez starting tonight *groans*. This likely to hamper his gametime this weekend? I know Kenny wants to take the domestic cups seriously what with no Europe n all, but to start Suarez in a League Cup game at Brighton.. really!
Open ControlsCech, Bertrand, Luiz, Alex, Ferreira, Romeu, McEachran, Malouda, Sturridge, Lukaku, Kalou
Open ControlsBosingwa looking good to maintain place saturday then?
Open Controls
I have Rooney, Dzeko and Suarzez up front, I want to bring Adebayor in but who would you get rid of? I was thinking Dzeko cos I have Silva and surely Suarez will come good
Open ControlsI got rid of both dzeko & suarez, it means no fear of constant rotation for city, and have dropped dead weight suarez as he does nothing. If you have to remove only one, it's got to be suarez, at least dzeko offers something i guess 🙂
Open Controlsdropped dead weight suarez???
Couple of weeks ago he was must haveOpen Controls
'Surely Suarez will come good' are the words that have haunted thousands of us for the last weeks. I say enough is enough. Get rid.
Open Controls
Schwartzer, Kelly, Baird, Sa, Kasami, Ruiz, Senderos, Gecov, Frei, Grygera, Briggs
*vomits*
Chelsea to win at a canter.Open ControlsHorror show for those with Senderos 🙁
Open Controls
No drogba??
Open ControlsFulop, Jones, Olsson, McAuley, Mattock, Tchoyi, Thorne, Dorrans, Brunt, Cox, Odemwingie.
Open ControlsI have wildcarded, which would you pick?
A) Jose Enrique, Arteta, B.Johnson
B) N.Taylor, Nani, Ferguson.Open ControlsA. There is no point in having Ferguson and A offers much more balance.
Open Controls
Tevez & Balotelli starting --> Dzeko (c)
Open ControlsI am thinking of getting in De gea for the next two game weeks? am I MAD?
Open ControlsNah not at all, quite a few people have been getting him in lately, I think it's a good idea.
Open ControlsYes, if it is for only two game weeks! If for the whole season then it is not mad.

Probably posted already

I like the comment "0:41 Maicon: Good job! Totti: Thx"Open ControlsKrul, (Vorm)
De laet, Jose Enrique, Taylor S, Kompany (Ward)
Young, Walcott, Silva(v), (Jarvis, Dyer)
Holt, Rooney(c), Suarez
Was thinking Either
A) Suarez and Jarvis Out, Adebayor and Larsson In
or
B) Holt and Jose Enrique Out, Best and Jones In
or any other good ideas
Please replyOpen ControlsHolt's gotta go, what with Norwich's rotation, so B makes more sense. De Laet -> Evans is an alternative to the second part, if you fancy a more risky change.
Open Controls
Right my team name is Silva is gold. Fancy a change so...
A) What's the Mata?
B) You're Shawcross.Open ControlsPersonally speaking, I think the stats
for Sunderland, if nothing else, question the mindset the players are put in (or not) following a victory. I thought it raised some interesting points, possibly for debate, possibly not Looking at the Sunderland's to performing keeper and defenders for 2009/10 & 2010/11 we see this info:
2009/10
Craig Gordon 26 apps
Phil Bardsley 26 apps
George McCartney 25 apps
Michael Turner 33 apps
Anton Ferdinand 24 apps
How did Sunderland perform in their next PL game following on from a victory that season? 1 win, 3 draws, 7 defeats
2010/11
Simon Mignolet 23 apps
Phil Bardsley 34 apps
Onuoha 31 apps
Anton Ferdinand 27 apps
Titus Bramble 23 apps
How did Sunderland perform in their next PL game following on from a victory that season? 1 win, 5 draws, 5 defeats.
On average, 3 different players in defence and goal from 09/10 season to 10/11. Both seasons we can look at 11 games following on from a victory and in both seasons, just the 1 win. Is it the players, the management, the sample size? Do you think the likes of O'Shea & Brown are going to improve
Bramble and Bardsley (when not
suspended)
As for applebonker's question relating to Anton Ferdinand at QPR - I think there are 2 QPR defenders worth looking at
- Luke Young and Anton Ferdinand.
Traore is too expensive, crap VFM and not a great player. The other CB role is still to be determined. The reason I mention Ferdinand's set-pieces is a little tongue in cheek. However in 138 games at West Ham he scored 5 goals.
In 87 games for Sunderland and QPR he has scored 0, so you'd like to think that at some point you'd see him knocking in a few headers from set pieces, especially as they have Barton pinging in the free-kicks/corners.Open ControlsI put Ferdinand in this week - looks a good buy to me...
Open ControlsCheers mate. 😉
Open Controls
Imo that stat is useless. 11 wins a season is normal for a midtable team and it's just natural you don't win that many games on the trot if you're going to win only 11 out of 38.
Open Controls
Bosingwa and Silva arn't set to rise tonight are they?
Going to take A.Cole and Osman out for a 4 point it. Worth it?Open ControlsOK, Demi? 🙂
Open Controls
Just heard I have been picked to play tonight, Wish me luck lads. hope those Birmingham boys go easy on me
Open Controlshaha, nice video of top 10 goalkeeper goals for ya 🙂

Open ControlsBetter to ask that after the match tonight
