    Arsenal and Liverpool currently have goal conversion of 4.1% and 4.7% respectively. That is truely abysmal.

    Making the (slightly unfair) comparison with previous whole seasons, the only teams to come close are 13/14 Norwich and 12/13 QPR, both with 6.0%. Last season Arsenal and Liverpool themselves were 11.6% and 8.8%.

    Goal conversion is meant to be a slightly streaky stat, prone to fluctuation, but there is still a story here. Will there be a "reversion to mean" and a ton of goals coming up? Or are both teams still short a world-class striker and heading for middling seasons?

    Without giving away more stats from the Members area, Arsenal have multiple players with amazing shot scrores this season, but the actual goal return so far turns them from must-haves to "meh's".

      I would say that the comparison is more than slightly unfair.
      Over the season I would say there will be a reversion to the mean. But don't mistake that for a proclamation that they are due for an imminent goal explosion.

    Benteke doesn't fit Liverpool. Getting rid, and using is as a way to get power 5 MF of KDB, Pedro, mahrez, Alexis & Payet with a front 3 of Kun, Wilson and Igahalo the latter two of which rotate perfectly. Could even go for Bojan instead .

    That would mean Westwood to KDB and Tekkers to Igahalo/Bojan.

      It's just sad that some people don't have the passion of FPL. Me brother said that to me about others in me League, it's a enjoyable, fun game which can be draining at times but once your on a roll in makes it all worthwhile! 🙂

    Considering that I've owned Pelle, Mane and Payet at some stages this season, its fair to say it better to hold onto players (injuries excluded) than to move on quickly.

      There's form, as in player getting a lot of chance and converts them at a decent rate. And then there's form, as in player getting very few chances but converting them all. Both may be producing same results in number of goals, but one of them is unsustainable.
