We roll out the final instalment of our three-part series of Big Numbers articles, focusing on players by position over the last four Gameweeks. Having assessed the Defenders and Midfielders, it’s now time to analyse the options up front, with Leicester, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool’s strikers all turning in some impressive numbers.

What's with a small minority of the Irish not respecting the minute silence tonight? Couldn't believe what I was hearing. Glad they were booed.

Bit difficult to tell from that video. Heard it on the radio while driving home and tbh didn't cross my mind it would be Bosnian fans as they can't have taken too many over to Dublin. Looks like it was them though, apologies for jumping to the wrong conclusion.

I thought it might have been something as ridiculously petty as Thierry Henry's handball. Madness. 😕

For the record, those Sept 2011 idiots were Frank Lampard, John Terry, Jody Morris and Eidur Gudjohnssen. While the others may have matured a bit, we're still waiting for Mr John Terry to grow up.

Thanks Woy that made me smile. I've been semi depressed since the events of Friday evening and even my twins 4th bday yesterday and Ireland winning today doesn't seem to be dragging me out of it.

The events of Friday were truly shocking. But it's perhaps a positive thing that the response will be more robust and resolute. That said, there's nothing to smile about with ISIS and the sooner it's destroyed, the better.

I think that fact we don't seem to be making any headway against this type of extremism and if anything only exacerbating it is one of the most depressing things about the tragedy.

The sooner the better alright for everyone, Muslim, Christian, Atheist and all other religions alike.

I'm surprised by you Twisty, posts like this make me want the return of the minus vote button!

I don't know who it was but I'd imagine it was the Bosnian's whose majority religion is Muslim afaik but as can also be clearly heard the crowd were booing those making noise until some clever clogs started to clap to drown out the sound of the idiots.

Happy for this to be down voted, Dino!

The majority were booing those not respecting the minute silence. There would've been many people listening on 5 Live hearing the disrespect and perhaps jumping to the same conclusion as I did. I admit it's likely that I jumped to the wrong conclusion - just over 50% of Bosnia are Islamic.

Yeah I hope not too camp no no.

I didn't mean it as a slur on Muslims (although it obviously is one as I generalised based on religion) I was just looking for a reason as to why the Bosnians might have been booing.

I think the Islam religion is getting so badly misrepresented by all these idiots that they may actually get the war they are after. People are close to getting to a stage where they are sick of being afraid and are starting to get angry. Hopefully the powers that be will sort it out peacefully.

Not to worry Twisty I know you weren't trying to be deliberately provocative. You're one of the good eggs hence why I was surprised by the post. I understand where it came from now though, I just hope that is not the impression most who listened on five live have been left with.

That error is easily explainable by the fact that Bosniaks are predominantly muslim - and I wouldn't be surprised if they made most of the current ultra-fanbase of Bosnia NT.

I agree, it's hard to see any rational reason for that. Well, except for a one, but that is to embrace the greatest irrationality of them all and make your conduct a rational means towards that end.

They were mostly muslims, but the jeering was not neccessarily connected to that. Might be just the fact that they have a tradition of not being among the best of fans, sportsmanship wise.

The first four big numbers in the article indicate the "which strikers" debate is very much alive and kicking. The fourth is an interesting one which highlights a forward who doesn't get mentioned much.

The replacement of Payet and the choice of forwards over the next few weeks represents an opportunity to advance for those that get it right - or fall behind for those that don't. That's good for FPL.

How come Malaysia has so many FPL teams?

    Top 5 country leagues:
    England 1,415,673
    Ireland 218,526
    Malaysia 193,552
    USA 177,509
    India 131,835

More than USA, India, Australia... Neighboring Indonesia's population is almost 10 times larger, yet there are only 80K FPL teams from Indonesia. Don't know much about Malaysia and find this a bit weird...

I was in KL in 2001 and they had 100 mb fibre broadband at that time (we were still on dial up at the time). If they have kept ahead internet wise in the interim then tech wise they will have a big advantage over the Indonesian's (one possible reason)

their favorite teams structure isnothing special, MU and Liverpool have slightly more fans (as % ) compared to an average country but nothing special really, it has more to do with the interest to the Premier League / FPL in general

This is the best primer I could find, though its main point is how the EPL is ruining Malaysian football:

Good article, thanks, confirms that they are crazy about Premier Leagueand it's not just FPL. Wonder what's so different in Indonesia, so that English football didn't get this popular there.

*note the date from this is 2011 and since then they've also had Vincent Tan in the EPL as well as Tony Fernandez. Add to the ownership issue, they always seem to have 1 or 2 shirt sponsors in the league.

Prob no. But I have 2 FT now which I kept for Kun, and now I don't know what to do with them. Want to get Rojo, but only 0.1 ITB.

        Bellerin - Cedric - Janmaat - Moreno - O'Shea

        Pelle - Lukaku - Vardy

A few lessons learnt from spending the first 3 months of the season outside the top 1m after 8 consecutive top 100k finishes:-
    1. Form first, fixtures second. The season ticker is a great tool but don't let it sway you from your gut feeling
    2. Use the members stat tables, especially Doosra's, activity in and around the box is a much better indicator than goals scored (Martial!)
    3. Before bringing a player in, consider whether you'll still want them if they blank in the next match. If the answers yes, look elsewhere
    4. Cheap 5th mid. Benching headaches are more trouble than they're worth
    5. .....same goes for rotating keepers

Just my opinion, do people agree? Any other pearls of wisdom?

Ps. 6. Don't spend so look writing a comment that a new article is submitted before you post it and nobody gets to read it!!

He's actually been playing better than Payet. Carroll has been in due to Sakho's injury. He will hopefully be dropped this weekend.

Maybe - but he has not really fitted well with the team, yet.

2 FTs, 0.1 ITB. What to do with this?

    Myhill - Hennessey
    Bellerin - Cedric - Janmaat - Moreno - O'Shea
Sanchez -KDB - Eriksen - Mane - Mahrez
    Pelle - Lukaku - Vardy

Good team that. I'd consider shipping Mane or Eriksen to bench fodder to create some funds for Aguero, and save the other 🙂

Also look at getting rid of Cedric in the next few weeks

Thanks. 🙂 I'll get rid of Mane, Pelle and Eriksen for Aguero and probably Lanzini and Bolasie. Want to get Rojo, but don't know how.

Will play AOA if Vardy is fit this GW btw.

As an Irish fan who watched the last 2 games very closely I can tell you that Chelsea won't get too many clean sheets with Begovic in goal.... he was very poor in both legs at everything ....
His kicking of any type of backpass was horendous and he got beaten at his near post in both legs.... really seemed low in confidence in goal.......
So anybody considering a Chelsea player to cover them beautiful fixtures may want to wait until we see Courtoise again.

How do city line up up front ,presuming all fit now or nearly now

    Yaya drops back

    Sterling , silva , KDB
    Aguero

    Or sterling benched

    Silva, yaya, KDB
    Aguero

Or just a rotation of all of them

    Butland (Myhill)

    Rojo Kolarov Williams (Alderweireld Cathcart)

    Sanchez Ozil Mahrez Barkley KDB

    Lukaku (C) Vardy (Pelle)

0.1 ITB, no transfers left this week.Obviously a bit annoying that I have to bench a potential point scoring player. Am i benching the right player? Decent captain pick? Ways t bring in AGuero soon?
