Dugout Discussion – Tottenham vs Sunderland

A busy Sunday of football comes to its conclusion at White Hart Lane as Spurs and Sunderland go head-to-head in the 4.30pm kick-off.

The hosts’ 4-0 win over Stoke last weekend boosted out faith in the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, yet their midweek Champions League loss to Monaco at Wembley suggests Mauricio Pochettino’s side have yet to hit top gear.

Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela owners are left cursing their luck after the duo were named amongst the subs, with Mousa Dembele returning to the XI following a six-match suspension.

Certainly, the home side will be buoyed by their visitors’ second-half capitulation at home to Everton on Monday night.

The Black Cats have yet to win under David Moyes and, considering their current form, may well be lucky to avoid a repeat of the 4-1 reverse in the corresponding fixture last season.

        I just sucked it up and did a -8 to get Aguero, Snoddy, Lukaku and Sanchez in after 33 points this GW. Get rid of the dead wood and bring in the form players before their price rises.

    This could amount to something like this:

    FFFix saying Hazard falling in price tonight, fplstatistics has him on -42,7%.

    Would be suprised if he actually dropped, but will be furious if he does since I will lose sell value on him..

        Well, wouldn't really hurt to do Haz -> KDB since Haz will most likely drop to atleast 10.1 before next GW.
        If KDB doesn't rise twice, then I can just bring back Hazard (if I still prefer him) or just get someone else.

        Do you think Haz will go down to 10 before the deadline? Feels like a lot of people are selling him, but I'm thinking there's a lot of WCs in the mix.

      Am in the same boat on my WC, Viper.

      Firmino or Mane look worth the cash
      Sterling will continue to be fed by the Citeh midfield and if he can't finish, then he'll still get assists every other week.
      Antonio looks a good option at least in the short term.

      Then Capoue rotated with another budget option such as Bolasie or Snodgrass. The only problem I see is not having Sanchez or Walcott, and whether Ibra will outscore Hazard.

    Think I'll be keeping Haz. I'd like Sanchez, but it feels very sideways when they're playing each other and I'd need a hit.

    Also keeping Ibra..I love how quickly the template changes.

    Arsenal and Liverpool's midfield look like they will always share points.
