    why has kaboul got the assist for defoes goal? the rules state:

    "Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored.

    If after this touch, an opposing player touches the ball outside the penalty area altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is given, except if this intervention directly results in an own goal."

    surely savic's touch would mean no assist or am i missing something????

      They probably see it as a 'slight deflection' not a 'full touch', if you will. I agree with you, but that's probably their reasoning I'd imagine.

        only 3pts but the lad i have a big cash bet with has him, he also captained rooney last week n didnt have rvp when he lost his bp and assist (i captained him)

    Morning Gents,

    Don't frequent the site as often as i used to. Only now to check in on the odd article and catch up with opinions.

    I'm wondering who to bring in for Jones with him being out for a few weeks. Jones was on fire, since i've brought him in a few weeks ago he's been a sidelined cripple. Shame.

    Anyway, there's 6.8 in the pot for a replacement. I may bring in Lindegaard to free up another .1/.2. Any suggestions on a decent replacement please?

    Current other back 4 are... Richards / Raylor / Simp / Wolves-benchfodder-Ward.

        Missed my third penalty save in 10 weeks you might be interested to hear Granville. GW13 Foster saves one and he's on my bench, GW15 Vorm saves one and he's on the bench this time, GW22 Foster saves another and yes I played Vorm.

        I only had this keeper pairing for 11 gameweeks and my sub keeper keeps saving bleedin peanlties!

    I have tough opponent for next wk in my mini league: cant afford to lose at this moment:

    BAE, ENRIQUE, simpson (ward, )
    Mata, silva, bale, sess (allen)
    rvp aguero, sturidge

    My team is linked : i have rooney instead of RVP... and he is not doing so good at this moment.. I am thinking of either getting HBA for cabaye or Zamora for sturidge oping chelsea dont do any damage against swansea.. Is it worth it

      If you're only having two city players, I'd go for Kompany and Silva. That's not being biased either as I have Richards, Silva and Kun. I just think Kun is gonna be so in consistent and not sure that's what you want for 11m

    Still pissed off I got rid of Demps out of WC squad Friday night. Just went cold on him with Fulham injuries, losing away to B'burn and Toon's form.

    I do know what you mean with Man U cover, however both Lindy and Evans seem really cheap options, perhaps I need to drop one.

      Evans is fine. Just that it was mentioned during ManU/Ars game that Fergie said he will still rotate his keepers. I'm not sure about Sorensen, but Pulis might give him the chop after Stoke conceded 2 vs Wigan and 2 vs Wba, both at home. Not good.

      I wouldn't make that transfer - seems a waste. Utd's fixtures aren't great + Evans is there as a cheap way in to their defence.

      A Man United keeper for about 4.5 is an incredible prospect but with the fixtures they have in the near future I don't think it's worth a transfer. I don't think it's likely he will outscore the other good options by that much
