This rotating keepers thing is a pain in the ass!

Last week: Played Mignolet - 6pts. Benched Krul - 12pts

This week: Played Krul - 4pts. Benched Mignolet - 8pts.

What? Krul only scored 12pts due to a penalty save. And you think home against Villa is harder than away at Stoke right now? He made the right choices, just got unlucky.

I agree but McClean's form is too hard to ignore right now especially given how suspect Arsenal's defense is. Tough decision but i'm leaning towards Valencia right now.

Want to get Ba in for Morison (probably GW26 rather than this week) but short on ideas of how to raise the £. Here's my team:

    Krul, Mign
    Komp, Evans, Taiwo, Simpson, Kelly
    Silva, Bale, Dempsey, Sess, Siggy
    RVP, Aguero, Morison

Only things I can think at the moment are:
    - McClean in for Sess (but Sess' points total for that price is hard to ignore...)
    - Bent in for RVP (not great fixtures for Arsenal)

Am I mad to be considering the latter?

I would rather downgrade Silva than RVP, especially as you already have Aguero to cover City.

      Alternatively, downgrade Aguero himself.

Both are very risky though given City's forthcoming home games, so I think Sess - McLean is the sensible way of raising the funds.

      Short answer, yes you are.

First option is way more sensible. Only issue is, if you wait until GW26, Ba could get to 8m before you pull the trigger.

Yeah I can see how dropping RVP looks like madness - however a few things making me think it's not as mad as it looks:
        - Arsenal's next few fixtures, don't see many goals
        - Arsenal almost certain not to play GW29 due to Cup, might be better to have someone who will play
        - Think Wenger might actually rest RVP when Champs Lge starts up again

See your point about Ba's price but can't really do it this week anyway without getting a 4-pt hit, haven't had one all season and don't want to start now!

Like I said, Ba is involved in more of the play so will likely score better on the EA index thing. Cisse seems to only wwant to get on the end of attacking moves and plays little in the build up. He also had quite a few efforts off target.

I'm not even sure Lindegaard will come back into the team when he's fit - De Gea did ok vs Chelsea, and may well have played himself back into No.1 slot before Lindegaard gets fit again.

I'm going to ship Lindegaard this week I think (take the opportunity with no other pressing issues), and then IF he regains the keepers jersey then I will bring him back into the fold.

and it's a late winner for Spurs! Bale finds one more boost of energy and charges past a tired pool defense to blast a shot at Reina. Pepe is able to parry, but Defoe is there to slot it home. Spurs take the points and gain ground on Utd. Thanks for joining us tonight. Stay tuned for your late local news.

    Morning All,

With no other major pressing concerns is now the time to use my FT to get rid of the Lindegaard problem? I think De Gea may well have regained the No. 1 spot by the time he returns anyway.

    My team for this GW:

    Sorensen
    Caulker, Senderos, Enrique
    Valencia, Sessegnon, Silva, Dempsey (C)
    Ba, Aguero, RVP

Bench - Lindegaard, Walters, Taiwo, Santon

Who is best to replace Lindegaard? Mignolet?

you have similar team as I do. Bring Aguero instead of Dzeko. I also brought today Mignolet for Sorensen, but that was juts for fun, not needed really.

any with Valencia considering selling? With Young back, and Nani due back, plus Cleverley and Anderson maybe pushing Giggs back wide, and with Park around, he could be about to become a real rotation risk.

He looked fatigued yesterday, if i were to guess, i'd say he'll be rested for the Norwich game. I am getting rid for Dempsey, i still think Tony V is a good option though.

Rotation may become a risk long term, but I'm keeping hold for the next few weeks and seeing how things progress.

Based on current form he is first choice on the right as Nani/young come back they are battling for the left wing slot. Don't forget Valencia played ahead of Nani back end of last season also.

With the next 4 weeks in mind, I'm thinking it may be best to get rid of Sessegnon or McClean as Sunderland face tough tests against Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool.

So my question comes in several parts:

    (A) Should I do it at all?
    (B) If I decide to transfer one, who should it be?(Baring in mind I stand to loose more money out of a Sessegnon transfer as I can only sell him at 3 points less than he is worth and McClean at 1 point less)
    (C) My options are:
    Sessegnon out for: Valencia/Sigurdson/Chamberlain
    McClean out for: Sigurdson/Chamberlain

    WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

BTW my team at the moment is:

    Mignolet

    Kompany........ Evans............. Assou-Ekotto

    Silva, Dempsey, Bale, Sessegnon/McClean

    Van Persie, Ba, Aguero

    Subs: Vorm, Sessegnon/McClean, Simpson, Taiwo

Easy answer. get rid of one, keep the other as Sunderland cover. I would hold onto McClean, he's going to bring in similar points as Sess but at a cheaper price. Not sure who, I'm personally keeping an eye on Gibson at Everton, if he gets a run of form I reckon he could be a cheap goal scoring asset.

Wouldn't take Sess or Valencia out for Ox. Ox has three tough games up next and maybe a serious rotation risk soon when Gervinho gets back. A bit late not getting Bale in but I guess you have to at some point. Maybe Bale for Valencia because Tony V might get rested or rotated with Young back.

This is a bit of a wild one and you might laugh. However i did my ankle ligaments last week two days before lindegaard...the swellings gone still slightly bruised. However i can now jog lightly and think after a week of strengthening it will be fine. In short i think Linde will be back much sooner than expected whether fergie will play rotation roulette with his keepers is another topic entirely.
