Don’t forget to sign up for 2019/20 Scout Membership

Fantasy Football Scout memberships for 2019/20 are now available for the June discounted price of just £12.50.

Last season’s memberships expired on June 1 but you can now renew to get access to the Members Area.

But you’ll have to hurry if you want to take advantage of our pre-season offer.

This year it will end on July 1 and from that point, it will rise to £17.50.

This is a £2.50 increase on the usual price of full season Memberships.

Over the years we have made steady improvements to what our Members can enjoy and we will be re-investing back into the site to enhance it further in 2019/20.

However, we recognise the support of our loyal members and are going to offer the usual discounted rate of £12.50 until July 1.

If you’re new to the benefits of Fantasy Football Scout membership, you can get full details, along with a series of movies previewing the content, via this page.

In 2018/19 we published more Members articles than ever before, and plan to produce at least 150 in the 2019/20 campaign.

We also introduced Members only comments and Hot Topics to allow for detailed discussions of content behind the pay-wall.

Our projections and Rate My Team tool have both been tweaked with the former updated more often than in previous seasons.

We are also hugely excited to introduce the brand new Flat-Track Bully feature which allows Members to conduct research in greater detail.

Using this new feature you can customise which matches form part of your tables and comparisons and which do not, based on the opposing team.

This will help you identify players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition, Flat-Track Bullies, or maybe those who thrive against the top teams like Raúl Jiménez did in 2018/19.

We will be releasing other new features when the June discount expires on July 1 so stay tuned on that front.

Last season, we helped Adam Levy to become the reigning Fantasy Premier League champion.

In his recent interview, he said: “I always sign up pre-season for £12.50 as I think that’s good value for the members’ content.”

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our members’ league and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

We are hugely grateful to those who show their support by signing up as a member each season. This continues to enable us to maintain the site, grow the FFS team and develop more ideas.

Members can switch between competitions to mine the data using an array of tables. Our comparison tools for players and teams can also be used to make head-to-head comparisons.

Filters can be applied to take into account only the last two, four and six matches played by a team or player.

Meanwhile, the match dashboard offers analysis of each match, together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots, chances created among other statistics.

Members can also create custom tables based on the data and share them with other members.

The most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table which has a hugely successful rate for accurately predicting which underperforming assets will find the net next.

We will be producing a new preview movie highlighting what is available next week.

Our pre-season features begin with access to our members season ticker tool on or around June 13 with the announcement of the Premier League fixtures, with our Rate My Team tool and Player Projections to follow once the Fantasy Premier League player list is confirmed.

Having added new features over the last year – including Expected Goals data and Heatmaps – we’ll also be bringing back our Development Squad updates as we gear up to realise more ideas and bring you more tools to help enhance your Fantasy campaigns.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the members offering, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

A reminder that memberships are available for just £12.50 during the month of June, but will increase to £17.50 on July 1.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a member here. A full FAQ on our Members area is also available here.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to get a registered account, can sign up via this link.

Payments can be made through Paypal or via Stripe using debit or credit cards.

This is highly frustrating though. It could end up being decided by luck (more than usual).

              Two questions: what happens if this match gets washed out, points thus far wiped out?;

Anyone got a good weather prediction service tailored to the venues and chance of play? At the moment I'm using: https://www.metcheck.com/SEASONAL/cricket_world_cup_weather.asp# (which may be useful for fpl at some point too I suppose)

That's true hard to call them and looks like there are a couple of them in round 4. Weather expected to be good after that fortunately

Checking weather forecasts before each round minimizes the luck factor though

      Cheers Orion!

Before I started working for FFS I paid for membership even though I used it infrequently, mostly because the price meant that even if I used members once or twice a month it was worth it. Going in just to check RMT to see if there are players I hadn't considered for example, or doing the odd player comparison. Plus Captain Sensible and to generally support a site I spend so much time on!

Glad to see you signed up 🙂

What's the latest? Opening bid of $40m by MAN and CRY is looking for $60m? Even at $40m, it would be Palace's highest sale for a player. The notable Steve Miller once said, "take the money and run."

Hes not good enough offensively to be worth more than 40m imo. Top clubs need someone who can play the attacking wing back role in the modern game.

Gary Neville has been saying that Rice is not good enough, and that Harry Winks is an absolute must for England. Finally a pundit talking sense!

Rice has looked dodgy as hell for England in all 3 matches. He seems a long way off where we need him to be. I would have preferred Gareth to take a half-fit Winks over Rice, then play Henderson or Delph deep. Winks has some the best stats in Europe for progressing the play. He may not get many goals or assists, but his progressive passing and movement up the pitch is the best of any English player.

Spurs have a gem on their hands with Winks - great manager there to develop him also

Will be interesting to see him progress in coming seasons

I often have to remind myself that he is actually older than Dele Alli though - Alli seems to attract heavy criticism in comparison, a victim of his own success from his first two profile seasons

But two great young talents spurs are fortunate to have

I did post last week here that Winks could be the answer for England in CM. Rice has been poor for England and West Ham. He must’ve been promised some play time in order to switch allegiance from Ireland. First team should be picked based on form, not on massaging someone’s ego, or their bank account for that matter.

        • 14 Years

The switch from Ireland to England was quite odd for Rice given he had already represented Ireland under age... hopefully it doesn’t back fire on him as he does seem to have great potential

But he wouldn’t be the first young starlet to disappoint - Phil Jones was so good at that age but never really progressed

Winks looks set to kick on though - very interested to watch Spurs next year, Poch is one of the best in the business at developing young talent

I’ve always associated Rice with more of a DM role, similar to Dier for example, rather than a creative llyer that can dictate the tempo. Winks seems more suited to that role and could florish next year if Eriksen’s decided to leave Surs. With Erik still in the team Wink’s role may remain limited

With that being said, hopefully they both develop to a point that Rice can provide the cover that Winks would need to be that creative playmaker... Rice has shown his talent but obviously stepping up to international level (regarding the top teams in the world) is obviously then another step up the ladder, so he may take some adjusting.

Be interesting to see what happens with Winks re: Eriksen though for sure. I'm a WH fan and I hope Poch stays at Spurs! We may not have the best players in the world in the prem but we most definitely have the best Managers, that much is for sure!

I agree, PL teams have top managers, I think managers are attracted by bigger budget for players and the higher level of control over transfers for managers at PL cubs in comparison to other European leagues preferring more of a coach role

All the fantasy points scored in the now abandoned south Africa west indies game have been removed. Very harsh in a game without subs. I can see why they've done it this way, but a real concern going forwards. So far the chip tactic has been to go hard in a couple of matches but now that feels very risky. What's everyone going to do with Australia, and also Bangladesh, players now?

Going full in on Australia attack and hope game v Pakistan on Wednesday goes ahead although looking like rain at Taunton. If not Saturday game v Sri Lanka at the Oval looks ok in forecast- for now anyway!

Cummins and starc are nailed on but now not sure about the other bowlers after last game. Lyon to come in? Nile to be dropped? Or zampa and Nile to keep their place?

Starc Cummins and Coulter-Niles probably and Maxwell would be picks

Round 4 selection is the toughest by far.

Looks like aus vs pak could be severely affected by rain but Aus vs srilanka looks the safest. Both with a blank next weej

Pak aus rain opens up the possibility of going with SA bowlers vs afg for bowling chip over aus bowlers vs Sri lanka but can't say how much the weather will take part in the SA game right now

Wouldn't want SA bowlers in round 5 either with eng playing afg but already heavily stacked up on eng batsmen.

This will be the toughest round to pick in this entire tournament
