Pro Pundits - Andy

Why Harry Kane is back on my FPL radar and which three United assets I favour

Let’s Talk FPL’s Andy looks at the post-restart performances of Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in his latest Pro Pundits piece.

The new normal isn’t all that different so far from a Fantasy Premier League perspective.

Danny Ings (£7.3m) is still in great goalscoring form, Kevin De Bruyne (£10.7m) has averaged 7.6 points per match in the opening three games, and Nick Pope (£5.0m) is making a mockery of anyone who brings in a different goalkeeper.

With that being said, I do want to explore whether there are any differences we can spot following the Gameweeks and matches we’ve seen since football restarted.

    Gents

It's an unprecedented, unquestionably different season than any that have gone before. I've read a lot of articles claiming that we should act differently for the next 6 gws, but as a counter-argument; as FPL managers we need to be flexible with our picks & team structure to enable us to predict player performance & availability as good as a club manager, but unfortunately, without the insight. What's new? It's just happening at a faster pace, but we know certain factors & weights can be applied to players.

There is a new KPI to consider based on team importance (C) & dynamic, fitness to play, mins played & time to rest. Club managers & coaches already have these KPI's. Intelligence for value decisions.

To make sense of our picks we need to understand; are Greenwood, Foden, Nketiah, Traore et al, the weight-makers or super-subs we want them to be or are they just simply differentials with all the FPL pre-knowledge risk of such attached?
