The Promoted

What to expect from Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa in FPL

FPL managers are set for entertainment when Marcelo Bielsa finally arrives in the top-flight of English football.

The Leeds United manager joins the Premier League heralded as an unprecedented individual, his personality likely to impact your FPL team at some point in the 2020/21 season.

With this piece, we are launching our series of articles on The Promoted, so that the Fantasy community is well-prepared for the latest sides to join FPL.

We are starting with El Loco, as the Leeds boss is affectionately known and, later in the week we will assess the Championship winners’ defensive and attacking underlying statistics to pick out the early contenders for inclusion in our squads.

To help us with our research, we have brought in the expertise of Beren Cross, a journalist for LeedsLive who has covered United extensively during Bielsa’s time at the club.

What is Bielsa’s background?

Bielsa is considered to be one of the most enigmatic characters in world football after three decades of management under his belt, including spells with Argentina and Chile’s national teams, Athletic Bilbao, Marseille, Lazio and Lille.

The Leeds United job is his first in England but the Argentinian is well-known on the world stage, reportedly a huge influence on some of the biggest coaches on the Premier League scene, including one Pep Guardiola.

“My admiration for Marcelo Bielsa is huge. For me, he’s the best coach in the world.” – Pep Guardiola

“He’s one of the best managers in the world. And he’s like my father.” – Mauricio Pochettino

During his time as a football manager, Bielsa has earned a reputation for exceptional levels of attention to detail. Going into every game, he will have mapped out potential solutions to any situation that could ensue on the field.

“If players weren’t human, I’d never lose.” – Marcelo Bielsa

“Playing in a Bielsa side is a bit like being in the military. It’s tactics, tactics, tactics and fitness.” – Mateusz Klich

Nothing encapsulates Bielsa’s attention to detail, or demeanour better than the already notorious incident of Spygate.

Always known as a man dedicated to in-depth analysis of his opponents’ tactics, it was discovered in January 2019, that the Leeds manager had sent coaches to spy on Derby Country’s training sessions ahead of a key Championship clash.

However, instead of denying the allegations, Bielsa admitted spying on Derby, as well as every other opponent Leeds had faced that season.

What followed was an hour-long press conference, which Beren Cross attended, in which Bielsa gave a PowerPoint presentation on how he profiles upcoming opposition. Such is the meticulousness of his research and analysis, the conclusion of this unprecedented press briefing was that Bielsa did not need to spy on other clubs to know how to beat them.

Leeds were then fined £200,000 for their involvement in the scandal but, summing up Bielsa’s character perfectly, he insisted on paying the fee out of his own pocket.

Having Bielsa in the Premier League is sure to add a new level of drama for the neutral fans, but how will it impact FPL? Let’s have a closer look…

What style of football does Bielsa use?

To get an accurate fix on the way Leeds are likely to set-up their stall in the Premier League, we asked Beren Cross what style of football Bielsa likes to use.

It certainly appears that his side will make matches entertaining for fans next season, which could result in goals at both ends of the pitch.

“The nearest tactical style your readers will be able to compare it to is Pep Guardiola’s City set-up. United press high, they mark man-to-man across the pitch, a feature many opposition managers pointed out as being unique in the Championship last season. The Whites are renowned for being the fittest team in the league. Described as machines by some in the way they relentlessly press and harry. Many winners came late in matches while opposition tired and they kept going until the bitter end.” – Beren Cross

Those already trying to get an accurate fix on Leeds’ line-ups for 2019/20, should start with their regularly used formations, especially as they are known for a somewhat changeable shape.

“It’s very fluid, but the simplest description would be a 4-1-4-1 with the wingers and full-backs pushing up to create a 3-3-1-3 at times. It is something he sticks to a lot, but the formation is generally determined by how many strikers the opposition employ. If it’s one striker they go 4-1-4-1 and if it’s two strikers, they go 3-3-1-3.” – Beren Cross

As for whether the personnel within these systems can be relied upon for starts, it seems as though Leeds could come into the Premier League to match the likes of Burnley or Wolves for high number of reliable starters.

As you have already seen, Bielsa’s style of management is unique so the fact that his players are attuned to this will go a long way to helping them start games regularly in the top-flight.

“Leeds are a very settled side. Bielsa only tends to change the team for suspensions and injuries, even during poor runs of form. They are so fit, fatigue is rarely an issue. The aforementioned Bamford would go 10 matches without a goal in the Championship and not be dropped, much to many fans’ dismay. However, Bielsa is loyal and his players run through brick walls for him.” – Beren Cross

How does Bielsa handle the press?

Press conferences form a big part of how Fantasy managers pick their team, so it is always important to assess what role Bielsa will play in that.

Are Leeds going to be a team we can rely on for accurate injury information, or will Bielsa replace Eddie Howe as the Premier League’s non-committal team news pedaller?

“Bielsa is cordial with the press, but he is a private man. He does not grant any one-to-one interviews. He treats every journalist the same and gives them all a chance to ask their questions in press conferences. He is very forthcoming with injury news. There was a period, in his first season, Bielsa would name the starting XI in press conferences, much to supporters’ frustrations. He has grown out of that now, but is very honest about injuries and who is likely to replace outgoing personnel.” – Beren Cross

Keep an eye out for our articles on Leeds’ defence and attack later this week and, for more detail on United for the 2020/21 season, make sure to follow Leeds United Live on Twitter.

Finally looking forward to having Leeds articles in this site! Was hoping you guys might get Phil Hay instead-but Beren Cross has been covering us for years!

I think the main takeaway of this article is this: "“Leeds are a very settled side. Bielsa only tends to change the team for suspensions and injuries, even during poor runs of form. They are so fit, fatigue is rarely an issue. The aforementioned Bamford would go 10 matches without a goal in the Championship and not be dropped, much to many fans’ dismay. However, Bielsa is loyal and his players run through brick walls for him.”

I don't see much rotation from Leeds this season based on our last 2 seasons. Bielsa used to leak team news out early in the first season, but he was advised not to thereafter.

I'm a little surprised that you were not asked to be part of this article, Leedsxi.

At least Munday had the good sense to go to a club specialist. Everyone will need three Leeds next season. Leeds are a top 6 club.

Yeah Beren is well respected as a journalist covering Leeds for years. But tbh understanding Bielsa is just one tiny part of the puzzle that teams are going to face next season.

I think they would prefer having an expert POV over a fan's one? I'm looking forward to see the team breakdown tbh. I won't say we are a top 6 club just yet. But I feel if the transfers are done right, we should be safe midtable next season and build on from there.

We have been away for way too long.

The transfers are going to be key. At the moment, Leeds seem to be linked with a new player every day.

I'd like to see Ben White stay and a new forward. It is going to be interesting if Brentford do not go up - their front three will attract a lot of attention.

It's slightly worrying times now tbh. We know that the season is 5 weeks away and usually Bielsa demands 8 weeks for new recruits to get used to his system.

Yes, they seemed to be linked to the whole world and I'm not even sure right now which is fiction tbh. It looks like we need 2 x CB 1 x CM 1 x CAM 1 x GK 1 x ST. Whether we can get the whole bunch at 45m is another thing all together.

Ben White is great for sure, but I feel that Brighton will price us out of a move because we will be fighting with them right at the end. If no other club wants him then it will get interesting. He is a sure starter for us, and with Euros coming what better way to get a run out weekly and chase an international call up. He isn't gg to ever get that in any top 6 team, let alone Brighton.

Honestly, I want Fulham to win (selfishly) because I want to see Benhrama in Leeds. Not too bothered about the other 2, getting 1 would be gold.

We'll know a bit more about who we can buy after tonight's match. I'd like to see Brentford do it but I have a sneaky feeling that Fulham will prevail. Mitrovic or Benrahma. Who do you fancy?

Benrahma's more of Brentford's winger/assist man isn't he? I think Ollie Watkins is their equivalent of Mitro...

Both joint top scorers in the championship with 26 goals too

Safe to say I'll think about starting with whichever one of them comes up at 6.5

Benrahma plays on the wing in a 4-3-3 system but changes positions with Watkins during the game. They both have tons of goals and assists together this season. Mbeumo is another under the radar option in their BWM front line.

Last season Pukki started at 6.5, but no Sheff Utd or Villa striker was over 6m. As a play-off promotee, I'd like to think a Brentford striker won't be more than 6.0. Hope so as I have a beady eye on them!

As a Leeds United sufferer in this league I make Fulham favourites in a 50/50 toss up. Bookies have it wrong similarly to FA cup, this is a top up.

Fulham have nothing to lose, they’ve been resigned to the play off since the 3-0 defeat to Leeds (in which Fulham dominated the first half). They’ve got the experience and less pressure.

If Brentford go up I don’t expect anything for Leeds. If Fulham go up Leeds sigh Benrama and will also go for Ollie Watkins. That’d would make Leeds bloody exciting for FPL.

Think you could get lucky with the defence - TAA 7.5, Robbo 7, VVD 6 would put you at 29.5 for the back 5. You might have slightly underpriced the mids, though. But also Ings might be 8 or 8.5 instead of 9. Though Greenwood probably won't be a consistent starter yet... Overall, looks pretty good for the moment at least

What Hedge is suggesting is starting off with 4 premium defenders, eg TAA, Robbo, Laporte, Doherty and a cheap (say 5.5m) striker. When that budget striker emerges, it's an easy 2FT to switch a premium defender and duff cheap striker for the new bandwagon and a reasonable 4.5 defender.

      Using FanTeam currently got:

      Lloris (4.0)
      TAA VVD Doh Tierney (4.0)

      Ayew Adams (4.0)

I'm liking something big at the back as well - but maybe 4-3-3 helps get a lot of quality into the XI

      4.5, 4.0
      TAA, VVD, Laporte, 4.5, 4.5
      KDB, Bruno, Soucek-[5.5],4.5, 4.5
      Ings-[8.0], Mitro/Watkins-[6.5], Werner/Vardy/Kane/Kun-[~10.5]

I think it comes down to whether you want 3 captains from [Salah, Mane, Sterling, Auba, KDB, Bruno] - or are comfortable going with only two of those six guys

The problem is - Are elite strikers going to be a thing? Hard to know - if Kane, Kun, Werner, Vardy are firing then its tricky - as there's really only 10.0 for that third forward slot, rather than the 11.0 that might be needed there

That slot/budget might be better moved back into midfield

Are you not worried about how the start of last season panned out? Many went big at the back and light up top but then had to dismantle their squads when the likes of Auba and Kun started firing.

      Just tried this on fanteam:
      Henderson
      TAA VVD Boly Davies
      KDB Bruno Pulisic Soucek
      Jimenez Ings
      Meslier Hause Bissouma Connolly

I think I'd be happy if I could afford that on FPL

You should be able to afford that mate. If i go 4 atb. Definitely won't go with Boly & Davies though. So little upside.

Doherty, even Aurier are so attacking minded

Hendo - if back-up to Dave then no.
Boly would be decent as a safe season-keeper if you don't want to spend on a premium. But a Mou defender - not for me.
Soucek - I'm looking at him to be a budget bargain at that price-point.
Dunno what fanteam is but it looks a decent squad for FPL

        Shevchenko, Veron.

I agree with your point. But your examples aren't good IMO considering Sancho aura atm.

Depay was LVG countryman so he chose him (only that WC performance made him do that too i guess). Still gutted United refused Bobby that summer over Depay bdw !!

Morata is overrated because of Madrid boy. Keita has potential to be a successful one. He didn't feature at all because he wasn't what Klopp wanted i guess ??

Correct examples would be De Maria to United, Sanchez to United, Hamesh ( 😛 ) to RM i.e. most of them all are maybe square peg bought to fill a round hole.

There is no guarantee that Sancho if comes to United will be a successful transfer. But at least he's what United want, a RW. Fit well in OGD mould too being Young/fast/English ...

He’s doing well, no doubt, excellently- but we’ve seen this all before with countless players who have a wonder season somewhere and then they don’t live up to the hype. All he’s asking for is some perspective.

    7. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus

He seems a bit of an exception - it's been mentioned above, but to get 17A & 17G from 32 games, in the Bundesliga, requires ability that not a lot of players really have...

To do it at 20... that's pretty eye opening (Leroy Sane at that age for example, in the Bundesliga posted 8G 6A in 33 games... which prompted Pep to pay €60m for him, and that was 4 years ago, in which time transfer fees have been creeping up further)

Throw in the fact that he's actually English so theoretically has a lower risk of encountering difficulties in adaption to the "new" country and you can see how it all starts adding up

Nothing is ever guaranteed of course, who knows how he would integrate into the dressing room, personality wise etc etc - but that type of risk is nothing specific to Sancho, it would exist with the vast majority of transfers

As a utd fan - I have a horrible feeling that it will fall through/they'll make a balls of the transfer & he'll end up giving the next 10-12 seasons of his career to Liverpool or back at Man City instead

    8. goriuanx
      • 13 Years

You can be overrated and still be top tier, if that makes sense.

And he's better than Sterling from what I've seen.

Just because he's joining United, I think we will see two ends of the spectrum now. Some will say outlandish stuff and claim he's the best in the league, while others will say he's trash.

He's fantastic, and has unlimited potential. Like any transfer, it doesn't mean it'll work out.

Yes he will be even more when he joins UTD. I bet they ruin him too. He should have gone to Liverpool.

Wonder why City were not in for him to get him back. Pep knows . Hopefully it all goes tits up and he ends up like a good majority of UTD big signings on the scrap heap.

Liverpool aren't spending 100m+ on a player who isn't starting for them. And even more so on a player whose wages are double VVD, Salah and Mane. The latter is the biggest problem of them all.

He wanted to go to Pool apparently. I agree though.

This league is a lot more physical and he will not get as much space. Pep isn't a fool is he. I get the feeling he will not be the star everyone expects him to be and i see Robbie Fowler is questioning his temprement

Liverpool operate with a clear sell to buy policy. Sancho would only ever be sign if Salah or Mane were sold, which won't happen this summer.

Hypothetically if one was sold, I don't think Liverpool would've signed Sancho. He is going to get a package close to 400k a week at United. Liverpool's highest earner is VVD on 200k who is undoubtedly the best in the world at what he does.

I seriously hope he's not on 400k. Not that i will give his salary. But it can hamper the dressing room environment IMO. Best thing happening is Sanchez also looking out of United. Let's see

Appreciate all the good traction this query got. In essence he is great, but added risk at Manutd with more pressure and lack of space in EPL. Also its Manutd to lose if they cant sign him this season as Liverpool will surely want to integrate a player like him next season as at 29 Mane and Salah wont be getting any younger. And one thing some wage speculators missed out is although Manutd still overpays as can be seen for De Gea, Ole only lets it happen if a player deserves it after some years at the club. So I likely see a wage of 250k(30% more than current) on par with Martial with performance based increments.Bruno gets 100k wage and stopped pursuing greedy Dybala so Ole knows to play bit of hardball. UCL football helps to negotiate better as well

      No it can't.

If you removed your bench maybe, but with it, this is inordinately expensive.

You'd have to downgrade Bruno and Auba to 5.5-6.0s and then maybe you could afford it.

What the OP should do is use the end-of-season prices of those players and then add minimum 8m for inflation as most of those successful players from last seaon will start off more expensive.

Seeing some starting price estimates. I included 2 Leeds in a draft list I wrote down to remind myself. Will I make it in under 100 mil ?

    Jimenez, Mousset, Costa
    Stirling, Fernandes, Richarlson, McNeil, Soucek
Apilicueta, Jonny, Tarkowski, Enda Stephens, Ayling
    Lloris, cheapy

Helder Costa will be a midfielder, I'm pretty sure. And Mousset is a risk, at present I would say it's unlikely he starts the season as first choice (and he'll probably be priced at 5.5ish, so too expensive to sit on your bench)

Yeh, I'd expect Costa to be a midfielder. Richarlison could be moved to striker so the squad of 15 could stand. There's a few I wouldn't fancy myself, but all I'm saying is it looks within budget.

If Southampton have strong opening fixtures - is anyone considering an attacking double-up, if Adams is priced 5.5-6 and Ings 8-8.5?

Yeah, this. Ings would be a nailed-on starter and I'd want a budget striker to be on and off my bench - could be from anywhere.

Which of the two are we calling underpriced? After an underwhelming 4 goals 2 assists in his debut season, I think a 0.5 drop for Adams is pretty likely. Ings I think should probably be 9m, but the wording of the article on the PL website (Ings' price "expected" to be approx 8m) suggests otherwise

Adams started to find his feet in last few games. Otherwise we wouldn't be talking about him at all !
Ings will be 8m which is a good deal too.

I just can't be bothered to speculate on what prices might be to be honest. I'd rather just want until a day or two before GW1 and then I have all the information I need to pick a team without unnecessarily tying myself in knots.

Long now 100 years old although looks like a 20 year old boy should be out of the picture now too. Che adams is record signing i guess for Southampton.

He has potential to be bargain of the season ! Playing alongside ings will help him find more space too as everyone will now start to mark Ings after his wonderful season (maybe i have some bias)

With the help of FanTeam, I think I could come up with a decent first FPL draft even without prices.

    Leno (5.0) (4.0)
    TAA (8.0) Tierney (5.5) Coady (5.0) (4.0) (4.0)
    Salah (12.5) Sterling (11.5) Ziyech (8.5) Trossard (6.0) Pereira (6.0)
    Martial (10.0) Adams (5.5) (4.5)

I could be off by a few 0.5s but it will be something like this. With a pricing structure like this. If fixtures are really favorable for City, I may start KdB + Sterling no Salah.

Looks good, but I'm not sure how good value Martial will be at 10. Springboarding off my post above, but: would you rather have Martial (10) and Coady (5) or Ings (8) and Robbo (7)? Because I think I prefer the latter

Yeah maybe not Martial. Perhaps I'll have another budget forward and beef up midfield or defense.

I think Ings will be 8.5m. Robbo could also be 7.5 if Trent is 8.0 or higher. Let's see.

    2. Andy_Social
      • 11 Years

I'd expect Sterling to be more than that. More significantly, if Leno is fit he might not win his place back from Martinez. Maybe Community Shield will tell us - if that's still a thing this year.

Possibly the only draft I've seen (and will see) with neither Kevin nor Bruno. Brave (possibly foolish!)
To be honest, I don't like it at all, but kudos for originality.

      1. Camzy

Sterling started at 12.0 last season and disappointed. I think he'll either be 11.5 or 12.0.

I don't really like Bruno that much. If he's less than 11.0 I'll get him. But at 11.0 I prefer Sterling, KdB, Mane or Salah.

The problem is you can't have them all. Salah, TAA (8.0 or lower) are the only players that are locks in my team. Which City/MUN players will depend on prices and fixtures. If Sterling is 12.0 and KdB at 12.5 I'll take DB. But if Sterling is 11.5, I'll get him instead.

Yes. He will be back on the bench for one reason. His distribution isn't as good. And Arteta is a disciple of Guardiola. I fully expect Leno to remain first choice. Martinez though could and should find a move to another club. He's been great and he deserves to start in the PL.

How close was KdB to his likely points ceiling last time? Was that as good as it gets for him?

He missed a few of course but had more minutes than all premiums bar Auba before lockdown iirc He was almost immune to roulette

More penalties next time? That would give him a boost IFF he keeps them. But he’d also need to maintain close to record equalling assists.

Finding it tricky to see him improving on 250.

Thinking about Kun to start the season in truth if fixtures fall right

Loved 9.5 KdB but much less excited if he comes in at 12 plus. He does haul of course but he's also vulnerable to shared returns as a real life mid.

      Not bad.

      Mine is:

      Lloris 4.0
      TAA VvD Tierney Rudiger White
      Salah KdB Sterling Ziyech Soucek
      Antonio 4.0 4.0

The big difference in FanTeam is that there are no bonus points. Forwards suck basically. Look at FPL, forwards all consistently get the most BPS and without them, the forwards in this game are all overpriced and FanTeam also favors top teams because of the bonus point given to players whose teams win the game. So the end result is that you should pick players from top 6 teams, load up in midfield and be super light at forward.

Also no sense in having a bench because there's no bench boost.

I think the best players in that game are: VvD (6.0m is a ridiculous price for him - also gets that bonus point on being on the winning team and he's beyond nailed on), Soucek (4.5m is like 1.5m less than what he's truly worth) and Sterling (11m for the player who scored the most goals from midfield - also only got 20 bonus points in FPL so if you take those out for FanTeam he's even higher).

That would be a massive rise for KDB. 3m less to spend from your budget compared to this past season. TAA's price also going up. So if TAA at 8.0 you are already 4.0 down compared to this past season.

This, squeeze Armstrong(6) in at M5 and hope there's enuff for 2 strikers!

Thoughts on Werner as a FPL option?

I personally shy away from a premium-priced player who has zero PL experience. He'll prob be monster but I'll watch him for at least 2 matches first.

If Chelsea’s opening fixtures are kind and he’s 10 or less then he’s in.

No reason why he can't hit the ground running. Morata did, after all!

Son was involved in 46 per cent of Spurs' goals when selected by Mourinho, more than any other player.

    10.5 next season?

Nah. 10.0m. Some of his inflated stats are from playing as CF in Kane's absence.

How much emphasis do you put on ownership in your GW1 squad? I usually avoid most new signings who don't have Prem experience but just thinking with all the United fans around Sancho's ownership could be massive.

Depending upon fixtures, I'm looking at Bruno & Tony pair. Sancho only IN for Bruno if there is 1.5/2m price difference and i can get a serious upgrade somewhere else

Interesting. Think 1m would be enough for me to go Sancho over Bruno. Money will be tight at the start.

Bruno is best asset from United to own IMO. Sancho would only increase his FPL appeal for me.

I'm very excited as a United fan to say the least 🙂

Really? I'm not interested in MUN really. I'm definitely starting with Salah and 1 City. So that means I either go full midfield premium with Bruno or have one strong forward who is likely to be Werner.

Only one from City for me.
We know what to expect from OGS tbh. I can't see myself getting Salah Mane though unless something pretty radical happens. Let's see ...

No emphasis on ownership whatsoever for me. I might get Sancho regardless of that, however.

Yes he will be nailed. Harsh on Greenwood but Sancho is class and they're paying a fortune for him.

      Ownership irrelevant of itself

Slight reluctance to over invest in assets which are at or near maximum prices. The likes of KdB Salah and Liverpool defence feel unlikely to offer better than than they will be in week 1

Yeah it's interesting. Massive risk if you don't have those players and they hit the ground running but massive reward if cheaper alternatives match them. For the reason I'll highly consider Sterling over KDB, Sancho/Rashford over Bruno, VvD over TAA, etc. depending on how they're priced.

        1. Greek Freak

Out of your examples - the thing is, we kind of know in advance that, barring injury, TAA will get you more points than VVD!

The other two are more interesting though - Sterling over KDB especially is something I'd look into myself too.

Yeah of course Trent will beat Virgil but if there's a 1.5m price difference VvD could be better value. If it's only 1m I'll find the extra cash for Trent.

TAA VVD not cut and dried if you look at season value and that’s working off last season prices and TAA looks much more likely a hike than VVD who could stay 6.5

Questionable of course where that money gets spent to “ensure” more points

            1. Greek Freak
              • 8 Years
              3 years, 7 months ago

I don't expect TAA to be more than 1m more expensive. For 1.5 I might think about it, but as you said it's not cut-and-dried how to use the spare money to get more points either!

Wouldn’t be going there if only for this reason

The risk obviously lies in the VVD choice. Where’s the possible upside? The 6.5 in VVD will only ever slowly accrue in value. That leaves two possibilities

TAA flops gets injured - easy transfer
1 mill elsewhere is unmissable value - easier ways to make a million I imagine and there’s a much bigger risk in not owning Taa

I don't know about you, but whenever i go with cheaper alternative purely to save money I've always been burnt badly 😀

I've had a few successes with this - most notably picking Salah in his first season because he was 0.5 cheaper than Mane 😀

But yes, as I said in a lot of cases we kind of know in advance that the more expensive one will get more points, like TAA over Van Dijk.

What if UTD have a blank GW1?

We will have to wait till the fixtures are out. No ways I will be picking KDB if GW1 is a blank for him as well.

Probably. But if you get off to a flyer without CIty or UTD should GW1 be a blank for their assets then perhaps just stay without instead of using your WC that early?

You could have a very beefy team.

I also suspect Pep will be in ultra roulette mode again this season. If City add anymore attacking or defensive signings with a possible early DGW pending then the 5 sub rule going to be your worst nightmare 🙂

      Have never even considered it

I think the only time I've ever (directly) factored ownership into a decision that I can remember was GW38 captaincy where i reluctantly went Sterling over Dilva because I just needed to avoid a red arrow to stay in top 10k & Sterling's EO was 120%...

Indirectly however, ownership is (generally!) a good indication that a player has something/a lot going for them in the upcoming gameweeks, so indirectly high ownership players are usually a part of our broader plans anyways

Sancho is apparently a bit of a specialist at winning penalties - the sky really is the limit for Bruno this season - him & Rashford could be the utd double up of choice to get all pens & DFK's in the bag maybe...

Sancho definitely increases Bruno's appeal further. Or if they are close enough in price then it's Fernandes for sure but with the budget stretched to the limit at the start I can see myself going with Sancho to upgrade a defender or my 8th attacker.
