Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Due to popular demand and taking inspiration from soft furniture retailer sales across the land, we are pleased to say that Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £17.50 – but only for a little while longer.

We have given our users an extra week to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign but this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premier Memberships will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 on September 7.

So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

SIGN UP FOR THE NEW SEASON HERE

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are offering rolling monthly subscriptions for just £2.99 per month.

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (from all of our Career Hall of Fame top three to the returning Mark Sutherns) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £2,500-worth of prizes in the 2020/21 campaign – more details of that available here.

Our video below runs down just some of the benefits that subscribers will enjoy in 2020/21 and previews what you can expect the Premium Members Area to look like after its makeover:

WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame top three Fábio BorgesStephen Harrap and Darren Wiles, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the Premium Members’ Area, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Can I get people’s thoughts/advice on this draft. It’s the first draft I’ve gone with 5 at the back and very much like it.

Would you consider a back 5 viable early on ?

    McCarthy
    T.Silva Robertson Dothery Trent Vinarge
    Salah Ali Aubameyang
    Mitrovic Werner

    Subs:
    Button, Reed, Bissouma, Davies

problem with this is the price structure, 7.5, 7, 6, 5.5 at the back doesnt give you much flexibility for you to move around in mid and fwd positions

I like it apart from Mitro.
It is Davis not Davies, quite important.

I like the idea of 5 at the back for maximizing points from value but feel that it's easier to find a decent defender to put on the bench.
To me the midfield and forward players at 4.5 are a bit more suspect for putting on bench, I would be less confident.
So I would go to 4 at the back and not 5 in order that my first sub be a guaranteed starter and scores a few points.

I think you can have a 4.5 striker on the bench and still be sure that you will field 11 and for me, doing that saves the most money to spend elsewhere.

For me, Soucek is my only playing sub.
      For 5mil, he’s ideal...

It means I can bring him in and make a 3-5-2, if I don’t fancy one of my defenders fixtures.

5 at the back sounds genius until you realise that you have to play the likes ov Vinagre against teams like City.

      1. Ginkapo FPL

I always thought 5 at the back meant:

        Trent, Robbo, Doherty, Digne, James

With not a hint of 4.5 stinking up the place

        1. Andy_Social
          • 11 Years

The premise is too inflexible. It would be unwise to ALWAYS play 5 at the back, but too inflexible to say NEVER. I have 2 premium and 3 cheap defenders. I'll often play 3 at the back, sometimes 4 and occasionally 5 depending on fixtures. On an average GW, my 4.5 defenders won't do less well than my 4.5 midfielder or even Soucek.

        2. LangerznMash

Almost identical to mine. Pick the wingbacks that basically play as attacking wingers, attack returns galore. Reece James might be injured though.

That still pits James against Liverpool in GW 2, which probably isn't a big deal but it seems inefficient to spend so much money on the least fixture-proof position. The cost of it sacrifices too many attacking options - I've just put that defence into my draft and I'm 5.5 over budget, which destablises the front 8.

Would not say he is awful. He was probably the best player in the Championship last season. WBA is the problem.

6.0 price point for a mid is a no go for most, too expensive to bench and better choice defenders at that price - team structure and all that

In all seriousness, I’m a bit surprised to not see him in many teams.

There’s obviously a bit of the unknown if he can take it to the next level, but for 6 mil he was straight in my team and won’t be moving.

It’s easy enough to swap him for an Armstrong or ASM if he doesn’t perform, however it would be a bit more difficult to bring him in.

I think I'd rather Eze. Fixtures mostly, but while Periera was good last season I think he was better and has more potential.

I just think that Pereira will be involved in almost everything Brom do.

I'm toying with both. Easy to move one on if a player shines/fails early. Set's up 4 big hitters with TAA + 4.5s

              Both sound very interesting.

You probably wouldn’t get much love on here, but I like the sound of it.

I’d like to think one of them has the quality to make it in the prem.

Involved, but who cares? There is nothing to suggest Pereira will out perform even Trossard, McNeil, or JWP at the same price or Soucek, Noble, ASM, .5 below. Not to mention, Foden, Traore .5 more. Would rather have 4.5 MID and Adams or Mitro as well.

Plus West Brom first 5 opponents:
            LEI (H)
            EVE (A)
            CHE (H)
            SOU (A)
            BUR (H)

Good luck scoring more than a goal in all of those games.. But go ahead and start with Pereira 🙂

With only 100m budget it is tricky enough to get a decent BB team without setting aside some budget. Maybe planning in a 0.5 to get Ings to Martial is your best bet.

Yes a few variations of the same template is what 95% are going for.

Last pre-season I had set up a templatey team before it became template, and I changed it to something else because I wanted to be different. Backfired spectacularly with template firing and my differentials failing. So this season lll just stick with template, not going to start off too clever..

    Morning

My current draft I have son in with the intention of transfering him to greenwood or another city/utd asset.

My question is if its worth putting son in for only 2 weeks or just start with greenwood on the bench and save the transfer.

Plus Everton adding good players so it won't exactly be a roll over for spurs in their first game.

I'm going with Son for a couple weeks, see how Spurs line up and go from there.

they have fulham and whm while ttotinham got eve and sou

Lots of drafts with greenwood benched (makes sense - can afgord to bench a 7.5 player) but why no mention of Foden anywhere at 6.5?

Naildness, i'm guessing the answer will be, but even with unpredictable starts his stats were awesome afyer the restart and David Silva is gone now...

I am considering two manchester players in an effort to fully prepare for gameweek 2 onwards. It's a marathon

      Yes! Bruno ready for gw2!

For forwards will irritate you if a cheap starting forward gets some goals and you want in, but if you roll your first transfer you can do a "mini wildcard" for gw3 and mive funds around.

However, it's gonna suck having soucek starting from gw2 onwards with those fixtures

Haven’t touched my team in a week (and it probably shows). I got 2.0 in the bank and I’m pretty happy with my team structure. Other than landing a defence, is there really anything that *must* be looked at?

    McCarthy
    TAA - Vinagre - Walker-Peters - Saliba (4.5 placeholder)
Soucek - Aubameyang - Salah - Fernandes (will be Son or other playing mid)
    Mitrovic - Werner
    (Button - Reed - Taylor - Davis)
