Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Due to popular demand and taking inspiration from soft furniture retailer sales across the land, we are pleased to say that Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £17.50 – but only for a little while longer.

We have given our users an extra week to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign but this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premier Memberships will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 on September 7.

So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

SIGN UP FOR THE NEW SEASON HERE

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are offering rolling monthly subscriptions for just £2.99 per month.

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (from all of our Career Hall of Fame top three to the returning Mark Sutherns) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £2,500-worth of prizes in the 2020/21 campaign – more details of that available here.

Our video below runs down just some of the benefits that subscribers will enjoy in 2020/21 and previews what you can expect the Premium Members Area to look like after its makeover:

WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame top three Fábio BorgesStephen Harrap and Darren Wiles, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the Premium Members’ Area, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Can't talk you out of it. Adding Salah would ruin that team. I'm in a similar position with double Liv defence instead

I don't think the benefits of the extra £1.5m you get from having Bruno over Salah outweigh the gulf in class in FPL terms.

It's a good job I'm not comparing their results from a 14 game sample last season then, isn't it.

Another 14 game sample of pure results:

I’d be interesting in seeing points per million of players, but adding an extra 0.5m for defenders and goalkeepers as their min value players are valued at 4.0 and mid’s and attackers min value is 4.5mill.

Is Soucek good enough to be your 4th mid? Basically rotating with two 4.5 def guys each week for one spot. 433 or 343 depending on fixtures

Or is he a 5th mid first on the bench guy?

Struggling to fit in two 12m mids, Trent and my £25.5m front three

            McCarthy, Ryan
            TAA, Robbo, Vinagre, Taylor, Mitchell
            Auba [GW3 KDB], Alli, Armstrong 4.5, 4.5

Maybe but I wouldn't commit to that. If one of the strikers is on fire, he'd be in contention. If the likes of Bruno hit the ground running, he'd be in. All I can guarantee is Auba cap for 2 weeks.

I've toyed with having one of Bruno, Tony and Mason on my bench. All have their pros and cons. Settled on Tony for now - could change again.

My reasoning is, starting with Bruno, I'd need a sub-8m striker and there's no one under 8.5 I'd want. With Martial, my sub-premium midfielder is Alli and I'm fine with that.

I like the team, it’s similar to mine with heavy attack and martial benched. I’m worried with the lack of a second premium mid, what if Mané or mo start firing?

Yes, for me, if Alli's on fire he stays, if by GW3 he's a flop, it's an easy move to Greenwood or any one of 3 Chelsea midfielders.

Correct. Taylor and Martial come in GW2, but for GW1 Mitchell home to Saints is okay. 4.5 midf is not looking good.

Is there not talk of Ritchie going back to Bournemouth. Given most of us just wanted to play Soucek week 1 then carry as bench foder over hard run I am thinking Rice ( if he stays) might be simplest alternative.

It’s fine, nice strong bench but I know what you mean, it’s the two 5.5m and one 5m mids that just feels weird to start with

        What’s your United/City plans?

Aubs to kdb GW 3 and then if I want united I’ll need to downgrade Jimi or Virgil

OK... people planning to have United/City assets on the bench from GW1 to avoid hits/transfers GW2:

Are you not worried that for example, Greenwood sitting on your bench GW1 comes into contact with someone a few days before GW2 and boom he is in quarantine, therefore forcing you into the transfer you planned not to make!

Seeing news come up all the time about people in contact with Covid and having to isolate i.e Soucek today just highlights the risk.

Surely, having a full strength starting 11 for GW1, rather than playing someone poo just because you want to hit the ground running with a Bruno GW2 (who might end up quarantined) just makes more sense as you will have the most up to date information on who is fit/uninfected and ready to play?

      Just a thought...

I think the covid point is the case for every player and people should play for what they think will get them to most points in the long-run

However I agree and also don't like having big assets on the bench as I think they will often outscore the lower cost players by more than 4 points so you may as well play them and then take the hit if needed.

          • 4 Years
          3 years, 6 months ago

The covid point is definitely true for every player in your team...

However, wouldn't you rather wait until the deadline of GW2 to know which asset you bring in (who is healthy), rather than cross your fingers and hope nobody coughs on your man for 2 weeks?

True but the same could be said for a player in your team. There could be players who get it between who 1 & 2 and you were planning to keep then not only do you have to transfer them out but also try and get the utd assets you wanted in

no guarantee whichever non-poo player you pick actually outscores Johnson/Mitchell/Ritchie or whichever poo player people get instead - some decent enough fixtures for them and anything can happen in a one-off GW

Yeah, it's a risk for sure, but I think being able to save a FT in GW2 makes it worth it. Might not be the case for every setup tho.

Not a fan of the Liverpool defensive triple up - Robbo and TAA are still good picks who will chip in w/ attacking returns regardless but team weren't exactly rock solid defensively during restart or Charity Shield.

      Hi All,

Is Salah's BPS score for last season concern for anybody?

He finished 280 points behind KDB who finished with 988. KDB played fewer minutes as well. I have him in my team starting off but just wondering if people will be looking to rotate him amongst the big midfielders hitters this season?

Personally for me salah is set and forget, as a livepool fan I love having a Liverpool attacker, so the only way I’m getting rid would be for mane

Plus salah scores a lot more than KDB so I guess the extra two points than what KDB gets for assists makes up for the lower bonus points

He's always been the same - it's points that matter to me, and I think Salah has the best chance of being top of the points charts this season.

BPS not a concern - it's the same for Salah every season. Partly because his high risk style means giving the ball away a lot, and partly because goals from a midfielder don't count for as much, he doesn't quite rack up the BPS, but his consistent goals and assists return is more than enough. If he was listed as a forward he'd probably get more bonus, but then lose the extra goal point + CS points

          Thanks all, very good points.

Just looking at Salah's ICT Index Score for last season (405 II), he had 130 points better than Auba. Auba finished 4 for BPS with 805.

@NEILDDD, you summed it up he is so involved that his BP score takes a hit but he makes it up for his midfield returns.

I expect these super expensive mids will be switched out for more value this year - are we to see the end of salah or mane in every team?!

        Sterling and Kdb .5 cheaper

        Chelsea assets significantly cheaper

        Utd assets significantly cheaper

        Spurs assets significantly cheaper
