    Just saw that Pienaar got 30 PPI and Jelly 31

    This means that Jelly having his first shot saved and then scoring the rebound (thus getting him PPI for an extra shot on target than if he'd just finished the first attempt) probably got my rival the crucial extra bonus.

    Finally over the heartbreak of yesterday. Slightly optimistic about next season. If we do end up getting Kagawa(which the rumours would have you believe), then him to play in the role Giggs did yesterday, and Vidic back in defence is going to be a big boost. Still can't believe how close we got with our squad. To lose in dying minutes by goal difference. GOAL DIFFERENCE! And we still set the record for highest points accrued by a team that doesn't end up winning the league. Yesterday, and at other points of the season also showed how important Yaya Toure is to Man City. He went off and they only just beat 10 man QPR. Also went off injured early vs Arsenal and they lost. Definitely going to be a big miss during the ACON.

      Nice post C.G. I really hope we get Kagawa, put in a nice performance in front of Fergie which is great! Been watching loads of highlight videos and he is just what we need. Drives forward every single time he gets the ball which is perfect for us!

        No he isn't. He lost this season through injury. Before that he was one of the best stoppers in Europe and that hasn't changed.

                    Evans has been quality but I would still rather have Vidic ahead of him. Plenty games for Evans to be playing with PL, CL and cup competitions.

                    Yeah that would work. I still think Rio has more to offer though. And he compliments Vidic the way he plays. Great on the ball for a CB.

      Yeah Kagawa would be a great addition. Clever player, young, technically gifted and an eye for goal.

      Are you happy with Young/Nani/Valencia continuing as the wide players? Injuries and form have disrupted that more than anything I suppose.

      A new RB is a must. Some who will play week in week out and end this Rafael/Jones/Smalling rotation.

      Fergie was scouting up to 3 Dortmund players. Lewandowsi and Gotze would be class. Or Llorente.

        Yeah definitely.

        I am yeah. Think Young has done well for his 1st season, integrated with the rest of the squad so smoothly. Nani has had a poor season compared to last year, but injuries haven't helped, so he'll get better. Valencia is in the form of his life. Kagawa can play on the wing too, so i think we're well stocked there. I think we badly need a LB to challenge Evra tbh. He's been so poor in a few games and cost us goals with his positioning. Added to the fact that Fabio is going on Loan, so there'll be no adequate cover. Right back i think we're well stocked in. Rafael is rapidly improving, but wouldn't mind another one. Not as much of a necessity though, as Smalling and Jones have performed well there at times, and will be seeing less games @ CB with Vidic back.

    Wow, what an ace season. Dumb ass final week transfer cost me a top 20k finish and broke an 11 green arrow streak.
    But...
    I thrashed my mini league.
    Why does that feel so good?

    It was a company league. I got made redundant a few weeks ago.
    Last year I made up a 150 point deficit in the last 4 weeks to come 1st equal. With my boss. Who refused to share the first prize beers as he won on a technicality (transfers).

    This year I beat everyone by 160 odd points including my boss who entered 2 teams.

    F**k yeah!!

      Sir Alex never said Evans wasn't playing. Plenty of us Evans owners started him in our lineups yesterday just in case he did play. You could have done the same thing.

    A red arrow to end the season. Not what I was looking for, but after 10 consecutive greens a red was due soon. Still hold a top 50K position for my first two years playing this game. I know that is rubbish compared to most but considering I was at 350K after GW27 gate affair I am not to disatisfied with that finish and winning 2/4 of my mini leagues.

    Could not have expected to qualify let alone get 4th place in the PP cup, has to be one of the proudest moments of my 2 year FPL career. I know not many remember 4th, but I will.

    Thanks to anyone who has supported me in the cup and to those who have given me advice.

    Nice to end the season with a transfer fail to sum up my season.............

    Sagna and Dempsey to Clichy and Nasri (net -1)
    Benched Valencia and the definitely injured Evans (13)

    Luckily I still won my league, but no money in it anyway
    Ended at 79, 822, worst in 3 seasons ive played. ðŸ™

    Well my FPL finished well - 11 green arrows in last 12 game week
    I didnt win my ML but came second which wasnt bad

    Overall I improved my rank by over 100k places and almost 200 points better than my previous hightest total.

    Thanks to all on this site for the sometimes good, sometimes bad (or mad), but always insightful advice.
    Will see ye next season for continued improvement

    Finally won 2 MLs (no money)

    One of which i had no expectations to win and another for which i have been fighting
    Thought i had a REALLY difficult start, i think my first season's been nice.

      This is why I hate fantasy football as much as I love it... if that makes sense.

      The smallest/stupidest things can cost you so many points over the course of a season.
