Would you wildcard this week or save it for after 32 if you had this team?

    Mendy, (Forster)
    Shaw, Cancelo, Veltman, (Targett, Dallas)
    KDB, Gundo, Bruno, Jota, Son
    Kane, Bamford, (Watkins)

Save me deadzone, A or B - cheers

    (A)
    Ederson / 4.5
    Azpi / Shaw / Dias / Holding / Phillips

    or

    (B)
    Mendy / Forster
    TAA / Shaw / Dias / Holding / Masuaku

Guess it is a choice between
Ederson / Azpi / Phillips or Mendy / TAA / Masuaku

2ft this week, could play safe and go Pereira > Trent, Save ft and maybe get Jota next week while gving myself options.

    Or

Go all in with a hit, and get a big hitter bonanza!

    A: Trent in save ft...

    Martinez
    Cancelo Shaw Rudiger Konsa TAA
    Salah Gundogan Fernandes Son Raphina
    Kane Bamford Watkins

    B. Big hitter Bonanza

    Martinez
    Cancelo Shaw Rudiger Konsa Mitchell
    Salah KdB Fernandes Son Raphina
    Kane Bamford Davis

    Safe or bold?

    a) Jota (AVL)
    b) Salah (AVL) - means losing Bruno
    c) TAA (AVL)
    d) Nacho (whu)

Good fixtures, good recent returns (3 clean sheets, 9 bonus points, 1 assist in last 4 starts), creating more chances, and passing the eye test/looking more dangerous in attack. LFC defence has also tightened up since moving Fabinho back to midfield and sitting him in front of Phillips and Kabak, so people are seeing potential for returns at both ends, plus bonus.

    Would you WC this lot?

    Forster
    Alonso Cresswell Reece
    Salah Auba Mount Raph
    Kane Wood Bam

    AWB Lookman

Think i am ok for the week? Some players like Auba Alonso Reece Mount who have good fixtures this week and i wouldn't want them on WC next week.

    Thoughts?..

    Which WC squad?

    A) The TAA version

    Mendy, Forster
    Coady, Holding, Rudiger, TAA, Amartey?
    Salah, Jota, Bruno, Neto, Son
    Vydra, Kane, Iheanacho

    Leaves 0.2 itb

    B) The non TAA version

    Mendy, Forster
    Coady, Holding, Rudiger, Phillips, Dias
    Salah, Jota, Bruno, Lingard, Son
    Vydra, Kane, Iheanacho

    Leaves 0.8 itb

    RMT on wildcard:

    Phillips, Shaw, Rudiger, Stones, Coady
    Lingard, Bruno, Salah, KDB, Jota
    Kane, Iheanacho, Vydra

On WC, what would be your third budget playing striker (BB available) alongside Kane and Ihenacho.
I'm currently on Wood. Any better options in that price range?

I massively regret selling Bamford, yet he’s got very nice rotation with Iheanacho and plays in 33, plus Leeds can score in any game. I’m a fool!

        • 9 Years

Sure, but I'm happier playing any of my mids over Bamford, and he's pretty expensive for a bench player.

I'm leaning towards Davis and then maximizing my other starting lineup spots.

Yes, I'm not on WC, so will be gradually removing City players after this week, including Gundo to Son in 32. My team after using my 2 FT is posted above.

Who to captain and bench in this team? My current idea is below but I'm wondering if I should bench Mount incase Gundo doesn't play and play Bamford instead?

    Pope (Forster)
    Stones, Rudiger, Cresswell (Dallas, Mitchell)
Salah, Lingard, Gundo (C), Bruno, Mount
    Kane (VC), DCL (Bamford)

    Cheers.

Final wildcard decision - what is best option here please?

Is holding nailed? Or unnecessary rotation risk alongside alonso

Clearly Leno forces me into arsenal defence every week.....thanks

    Xxx forster
    Taa alonso shaw xxx coady

    A.....mendy  holding

    B.....Leno  rudiger

I've just read that arsenal haven't kept a clean sheet in 13 games.

Don't think I want to be forced into Leno every week.....

Happy ro take the small risk on holding I think at 4.2m....cheers

Appreciate that you're respectful but I've come across a few of your posts. You solicit advice, get people's opinions, justify your original decisions and then go with your original decisions anyway. Not busting your nuts but just a curious observation.

TAA Rudi Dias locked in at the back for me. Other two spots up for grabs - currently between
