The best Fantasy Premier League (FPL) goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards for Gameweek 32 are debated by our regular panel.

ABOUT THE SCOUT SQUAD

Everything you ever wanted to know about the FPL Bonus Point System - part one

Fantasy Football Scout contributors Az, Sam, Neale and Tom each propose an 18-man squad of Fantasy players with the focus solely on the upcoming Gameweek.

Their selections serve as a long list for the Scout Picks, as the players nominated will then be narrowed down to a squad of 15 (with the starting XI not exceeding a total cost of £83.5m) for our final weekly selection ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

Each writer must meet the following requirements:

  • At least one goalkeeper costing £5.0m or less
  • At least one sub-£5.0m defender
  • At least one midfielder listed at £6.5m or below
  • At least one forward priced at £7.0m or lower
  • No more than three players from the same club

*If you didn’t see it previously, we’ve started doing a ‘bus team’ Scout Picks earlier in the week in order to share our initial selection thoughts with Fantasy managers who perhaps couldn’t be around closer to the deadline – but we’ll still be publishing our final squad as we were before.

SCOUT SQUAD’S PICK OF THE BEST FPL PLAYERS FOR GAMEWEEK 32

Hard one. I think if you shift Salah you probably got to be prepared to lose him for the long run or take hits to bring back (and if you are wanting to bring back, its probably because you're already down on the decision). That said, you could get KDB or Son and have good money for upgrades elsewhere.

Getting FOMO not having Son. Either of these sensible?

    a. Salah -> Son
    b. Havertz & Raphinha -> Son & fodder (maybe Gordon as fodder in preparation for BB36)

A little surprised Norwich's odds for last week were so low but Arsenal's is that high, obviously Arsenal are a much better team than them but Brighton have been pretty poor for a while and have always struggled a bit to score enough (although that explains how I got 0-0 between them at 10/1!).

      Good luck G!

Saw there's wout name on the list.
    Really Sam?
    I know we're such a fool subscribers.
But why on earth, still picking weggy? Regardless of the opponent, he cant even produce anything against Everton.

We keep/bench/play him, because the FT is so much precious toward end of season.
But for scout squad this is just beyond ridiculous.

      It's the bus team.

But you'd have thought that Mateta would have merited a place ahead of Weghorst even before last night's game.

I don't think it's mad at all. The team lacks quality and the managerial appointments have been terrible. Relatively speaking Everton are not one of the big PL clubs .

With the amount they have spent on players and managers in the last 4 years I'd say they were still the biggest club and least likely to go down after the big 6 about two years ago

They have really got this very very wrong. Some of the signings have been shocking and it's not just hindisght. Couldn't believe the amount they spent on Iwobi

Reminds me of when Villa, West Ham and Newcastle went down (the first two in particular), so many saying "they're too good to go down" or "too many good players there to get relegated", means nothing if you can't put it all together and get points on the board.

Everton need result and they are better at home. Gordon looked involved in attacking set-piece and won penalty yesterday. Would you play him ahead of Weghorst or Odegaard or LIV Defender in this GW against MUN (H)?

    Ramsdale

    Kane - Weghorst

I do think they'll be a firmer test against ManUtd than a lot of people think (partly owing to ManUtd's inconsistency of course), for as poor as they've been they haven't conceded many at Goodison and ManUtd seem to always find a way to concede. But the alternatives you have are far too good in comparison to choose Gordon over (well at least regarding the fixture in Weg's case)

You obviously want to start Schar because you've asked the same question over and over even though everyone is saying Cancelo. If you think Schar outscores Cancelo just go with your gut. But you won't get many people agreeing with you in here. To be fair, he has a decent chance of a CS this week and has attacking threat too, but Cancelo is Cancelo and could pull an 18 pointer out of anywhere.
