Thoughts about bring in Foden over Maddison ? City has easy CL group, they are also in the penultimate group so possible rotations should be later.

Really thinking of wildcarding this lot:

    Pickford (Turner)
Gusto / Chilwell / Henry / Estu (Kabore)
    Mitoma / Salah / Saka / Bruno / Mart
    Haaland (Pedro / Archer)

Feel like Mads, Sterling & Mbuemo (and others) are players I need for the long term and this favorable GW

    or should I sit tight?

Personally feel if you’re going to WC should just wait till after this week for the international break so would hold

I've taken a -4 to get Sterling and Madds this week. Having said that, Bruno, Saka, Salah are all good assets and could do well this week. I wouldn't wildcard. Mart->Sterling or Maddison and, if you like, Mitoma->Mbeuno - or Pedro->Wissa for a hit?

Could be a good shout, made a silly early transfer last weekend so any move I make would be -4. Thinking a cheeky 1 week punt before WC of Mart to Bowen, play the fixture

    Bench order correct?

    Onana,

    Turner, Joao, Saliba, Kabore,

It's nice but expect to have a real difficult benching headache.

Having 23.5m (nearly a quarter of your total budget) on the bench this week seems like a waste to me - but I understand it will help reduce the need for transfers (and therefore points hits) and when it comes to bench boost you will be doing very well.

In the 3-2-4-1 shape that City seem to take Alvarez plays almost like a Number 10 (one of the two central players in the 4) but he pushes up with Haaland too at times

He is playing arround haaland in a sort like #10 role. Foden was benched last week, so if it is Pep roulette it can be Grealisch, Haaland, Bernardo, Foden. But I guess Alvarez will play

Risk of the IB bringing fresh problems next week that you may need your FT for, if you definitely want Maddison long term then the hit gets you the better fixture this week and you have your FT next week to navigate the break. I'm considering this same move currently, just concerned about Brighton out for a hit when they play at home (albeit Newcastle defense) and have such strong attacking data.

Interested in opinions of best use of free transfer from
    1) Pedro to Alvarez and play Gusto (bench Gabriel)
    2) Gabriel to any def up to 6.1 and play Pedro (bench Gusto)

I’m planning to use my wildcard next GW so thinking 1 has more potential for this week and can sell Gabriel next week. Thoughts?

    Ederson (Areola)
    Chilwell Gusto Udogie (Trippier Cash)
    Saka Sterling Maddison Mbeumo Bowen
    Haaland Alvarez (Osula)

    3.1m in bank.

What are folks opinions on Maddison vs Sterling? Sure Maddison has the better stats but it's a small sample size at 3 GWs and Sterling is heavy skewed from the Luton game. Depending on how many GWs forward you are looking it, it will sway towards one over the other. Maddison more routes to points with set pieces but maybe Sterling has more goal threat and potentially more explosive.
