Possible injuries notwithstanding, I am struggling to identify the right candidate in my midfield to accommodate for Son, who has to come in.

    Rashford Saka Foden Sterling Eze

I think this is the best call. Gives you a couple of games (including Burnley) to see if Rashford looks better enough with Højlund to merit keeping for tougher games, Chelsea's easier fixtures coming to an end, Eze has a tougher run starting, Arsenal face City, etc. I

When Son is on his best form, he is fixture-proof and Spurs now seem to be clicking.......

Then just pick one. If you're determined to have him at any cost then you'll have to make your mind up, but it looks like you have reasons to keep your five

United are about to implode, I’d predict it & try & get ahead of it.

          Defeat against Arsenal
Sancho v Ten Hag won’t help the dressing room
Probable defeats to Brighton & Bayern
          God awful negative football

Maybe take a chance & jump off.

Haven’t seen it but someone said Rashford liked Sancho’s statement, if that’s true, that dressing room isn’t going to be a good place & that often spills on to the pitch.

Hey guys do I need to wildcard?

    Johnstone
    Chilwell, Estu, Walker
    Rash, Saka, Mbeumo, Diaz, Sterling
    Haarland, Watkins

    Turner Pedro, Baldock,

    I have 1 FT and 1.6 ITB
Can I solve this with a hit?

    Thanks

I would like Maddison now but could go for Johnson. Might bring in Sterling as he has the fixtures. Who knows what Poch is going to do next, possibly drop Jackson and play Sterling up top as Jackson quite clearly out of his depth right now to lead the line.

So the other option is to wait and see how Spurs line up with Johnson first and then double up on their attack from GW8.

Varane, Lindelof, Martinez and Shaw all injured for the foreseeable - forget Son, Ferguson is the hat-trick hero everyone should be jumping on.

I expect he'll be run into the ground against France (again) and the Dutch this week. If he's not I'll certainly consider him but I'm all too aware of how much RDZ likes Welbeck and how much damage he could do v ManUtd

I just don't think there are many options that are as attacking as him, and nobody is really keeping clean-sheets, and that was as far as my thinking went really. Got value in him too.

      Chilwell, Udogie, Estupinan, Schar/Botman, 4.0m

I don't know why people want to lose Estupinan. He's stupidly attacking.

Cash I guess? I like Cash as a pick now that Villa's fixtures improve tbh.

But I think I'd rather sack the Newcastle 6 point defender than Estupinan.

Yeah, also thinking of adding Cash. Picking defenders for clean sheets when every team is conceding goals...

            Attacking returns are king.

Don't want to play Porro / Digne every week as I'm not too confident in their respective defences for CS points. Don't want to rely on Trippier every week either given UCL group. I guess 4 of these + a 4m would be fine if funds are tight. But if you have a 4.5m fwd (as I do) then I quite like having 2 decent subs on WC with European games coming up

I wildcarded a couple of weeks ago & went Chilwell, Saliba, Udogie, Estupinian & Henry.

If I was going now it would be the same apart from Cash in for Henry & I’d be tempted to go Trippier over Chilwell.

Much better! Yeah strong mids. Would stick with 352 but if you really want Ferguson I would get a 3rd striker who you can rotate with him & I still think he'll be used quite sparingly

I have 3 attackers now: Haaland, Alvarez and Ferguson. Haaland is clear, Alvarez and Ferguson will rotate.

If I want to play with three strikers, they can both play 😉

Did a fixture analysis if I were to WC in GW9. GW8 will prove difficult and GW12 will be the easiest if I choose the players I want to GW14.

I don't quite follow... just meant that maybe if you have double Arsenal attack & want to keep them longer-term you could just sell one. Plus aside from Spurs and Chelsea, the best fixtures that GW fall to teams that will have really low ownership (and who you probably wouldn't want except on FH) like Fulham, Bournemouth

For those who already have Maddison, bringing in Son this gw seems a bit more difficult given the City, Liv fixtures

Counterargument is Spurs are a free flowing attacking side, an in form clinical Son is fixture proof and difficult fixtures against higher lines might suit him
