  Don't kid yourself.
  There's no way Alvarez gets benched unless he's injured or rested.
  
  He's highly-sought after, and spent the majority of last season on the bench. Pep recognises this which is why he's playing much more than other players - aside from the fact he's playing well and an extremely good player.

        Yes all these 3 were terrible last season in cl. Newcastle were completely outplayed yday but thanks to pope got a draw. I ll be surprised if Bayern don't beat Manu atleast 3-0 later but let's see.
