    Ha, just looking at the PL table and was like, they’ve missed out Man Utd & Chelsea.

    Did not realise they’re already down in 13 & 14 spots, yikes…

    Final decision on wild card:
    A) Saka and Cash
    Or
    B) Estupinan and one of:

    1) Doku
    2) Diaby
    3) Sterling

    Funds do not allow for Saka and Estupinan.

      That is difficult. I have Saka, Cash, Estu, Doku and Diaby as it stands.

      That being said, because of fixture swing I'd probably go A, just.

          Salah, Saka, Mbeumo, Diaby, Doku

              If I take Burn instead of Trippier then yea, otherwise no. That being said if I successfully roll my FT next week (because I'm on a WC and I shouldn't need to make a transfer bar injury), then technically yes because I could do Trippier > Burn and I'd have banked 2M for any of the three 6.5-6.8ers upgrade.

      Saka is kind of essential, so is Estupinan in some ways.
      Probably A if you have to....
      Would consider a hit (-4) if you could bring Saka and Estupinian.

        I'm on wild card. Midfield is
        Salah, rash, Mbeumo, Maddison then I can't decide on final place.
        Saka ideally but then I have to downgrade Estupinan.
        Other option is to downgrade Gusto to another 4 mil, prob Van Hecke, what you think?

            He's in there for the decent fixtures. Do you think it's worth taking the hit on Estupinan to get them all in? Or is he worth sacrificing one of them?

              Rashford > Diaby/JWP/Bowen/Doku/Foden
              Keep Estu. (IMO) that's what my wildcard is looking like at least (top of page)

                I fear a sudden brace from rash...despite knowing they're in a mess.

                  I posted something similar the other day but;

                  City non-injured players;
                  Rodri, Foden, Doku, Bob, Nunes, Phillips, Haaland, Alvarez

                  So for me;
                  . Rodri & Nunes
                  Foden, Alvarez, Doku
                  . Haaland

                  Injuries;
                  - Bernardo - 8th Oct return
                  - Grealish - Lack of match fitness, Pep said a week to 10 days a few days ago, I'm confident he doesn't start, but if he does I've gone with what Pep said...
                  - Kova - 25% chance, either way, competes in the double pivot space
                  - KDB - Out until Christmas

                  Non-injured but not mentioned above;
                  - Phillips, maybe covers Nunes. Either way, double pivot player
                  - Bobb, academy graduate, three appearances this season totalling 9 minutes (7 of which were in UCL), I'm confident he's not starting over Foden/Doku. That being said, 2x subbed on for Foden, 1x for Bernardo

                  That being said, we haven't taken into the equation that a defender could step into the double pivot but I highly doubt it as Phillips can't play further forward really and Nunes is central only (putting Alvarez at risk more than anyone else as why would he deploy Alvarez out wide when he's doing the business through the middle?)

                    Thanks for this. I'd hope to get the wolves game out of him too before a benching. Or maybe I just see him as a one week punt.

                      Post the wildcard we can review, you may not have. I just think the guy looks dangerous. Dribbles like Grealish, physique of Antonio/Traore (in terms of bullying his way through) but he can finish...

          Saka seems more essential than Salah imo.
          Both RW, 100% starters, penalty takers, very similar output.
          Salah might be slightly better, but you're saving 3.8m which is huge.

          Would consider Saka instead of Rashford and try to use the funds to get Estupinian since you're on a WC.

      Kabore is popular due to attacking threat. Van Hecke looks pretty secure for minutes. Either will do if not needed to play often at all.

        Agree that Pedro is unreliable and therefore a sell. But in some ways, given that money is no constraint this year, then he is a great bench. Potential points but no stress about needing to start him.

      Really not sure. Over on the Brighton forums a few said looked shattered after his stint on the pitch. They have alternatives so real risk he doesn't start.

        He's on penalties.
        Judging by how Brighton play, and what we saw on Thursday that's already a plus.

        I wouldn't start him if there are better players, but it's not crazy bad to have a him on for 30 mins v Bournemouth.

    Hi Gents, things looking ok here?

    Used 2 FT’s on Baldock + Henry > Botman + Cash

    Onana
    Botman - Chillwell - Estupinan
    Rashford - Odegaard - Mbuemo (vc) - Saka - Bruno
    Haaland (c) - Alvarez
    ______________________________________
    Turner: Cash: Udogie: Mubama

    0FT’s, 0.5 ITB

    Nothing worth a hit?

    Only dilemma I have is who to play?

    A) Chillwell
    B) Cash

            Haha it’s ok buddy, I think this is really just one of those things where it’s a total unknown in every department haha!
            I also think Villa will score, which should make me gravitate towards Cash, but Chillwell being Chillwell….eurgh, it’s a head scratcher. Think this will go to the wire before deadline hehe!

          Chilwell is a nigthmare this season. The upside is best value player in the game. Downside an expensive 1 pointer. Everyone will sell at some point, but timing is key!

      Very odd, especially with so many good midfield options to go with Haaland and Alvarez.

      Man Utd assets are relatively expensive, Hojlund is a punt on a striker with high potential (not a United fan btw)

    For WC:
    1) Saliba or Schar (double NEW defence with Botman

    3) Rashford or Saka

    Chilwell/Gusto - Estupinan - Botman
    Salah - Rashford - Saka - Eze
    Haaland - Alvarez - Pedro

    Turner - Gusto/Chilwell - Saliba - Sarr

        After a +6 & +11 in the last 2 GWs, I can see casuals jumping on him, plus Trent absence means he isn't stuck back right now, but agreed.

        132K transfers in was selected by only 504K last GW. ~25% increase in ownership I guess?

    Really struggling with which 3 to start here;

    Gvardiol
    Trippier
    Estupinan
    Chilwell
    Botman

    Currently on the first 3 but its very tricky.

        Son
        Mbeumo
        Maddison
        Saka
        Sterling
        Haaland
        Alvarez

        Make up the rest of my team. Can't bring myself to take out one of thr Spurs boys.

      Lean the first 3, maybe a Man City leak helps but I think Gvardiol is pretty nailed to start this week

        p.s. Maybe worth redistributing funds in the future
        I pretty much always play 3 at the back so those 5 would have a benching headache each week (even Chilwell where consensus is he's dropped, must-sell etc., I think can still haul on the right day)

      I think that's about right given uncertainty on chilwell

    Genuine question (please no hate), but i have have heard lots of people, including Forest fans, say Turner is losing his place. Is that true and how, why and when? Cheers x

      My only understanding is because they went and signed a new GK in the window.

      Turner has played well, no reason for him to lose his spot until then

      I saw quotes earlier from the manager saying how well he's doing

    As an advocate of Burn over Botman. Geordies, where are you. Is one of the following going to ruin my LB party;

    Livramento, Targett, Manquillo?

      There has been some talk of Burn being knackered after the game the other night, so could be rested. Targett probably most likely to stand in. But I'm not a Geordie.

        Diaby is coming in. Defo! Maybe GW 9 as part of the overhaul including Salah!

      Eze for FUL (H) this week, then switch to Bowen (SHU, H) and then Diaby (WOL, A) 😉

    have just enough to bring in Trippier (at 6.5); is it worth doing, or just bring in Botman now or at some point later?

    DFs are currently
    Gabriel, Estupinan, Chilwell, Colwill, Kabore

      Depends if you need the cash I guess. Trippier will work as quite a nice placeholder to switch to TAA / Robbo in a few weeks of you're that way inclined and you'll get all the best Newcastle fixtures out of him in the meantime

      I went Botman as I don't want to invest much in defence this season, feels like CS are a bit harder to come by with the added time etc. Want the budget in the bank for Salah later.
