Is Saka and Sterlingto Bowen and Son worth it for a minus 4

I'd say the move is good but I'd wait until more info on Saka's injury before taking a -4

Surely you have bench cover if you've just WCed? if he's missing one game I wouldn't sell for a hit, at least wait until next week to do it for free if you don't like the upcoming fixtures

Bowen plays Newcastle in eight, and while Chelsea not being good their two next fixtures are good. And Sterling might assist someone.. that actually can put the ball in the net.

Too much of a risky WC? I am way down the ranks.

    Areola Turner
    Botman Cash Udogie Reguillon Kabore
    Salah Son Maddison Gordon JWP
    Nunez Alvarez Haaland

    0.3m left ITB.

    Thanks, some useful info.

I've gone early on the WC this week instead of waiting. Mainly as I'm losing a lot of team value as well as rank by holding on. The fixtures haven't quite 'swinged' yet, but I'm hoping going early helps boosts some ranks and value.

    Current Team

    Areola Turner

    Kabore Cash Botman Est Udogie

    Salah Son JWP Maddison Diaby

    Haaland Morris Archer

2.4 mill in the bank with the intention of upgrading Morris after the DGW. He could go to Alvarez, Darwin, Jesus or Watkins.

    Would you change anything?

Spent all week saying how I hated owning Schar. Eventually went for a team with him in, as let me keep a couple of players.

Sunday? Immeditaely and painfully reminded me why I hated owning Schar last season.

I'm actually going through with it, for better or for worse.

I did come across a similar Son/Morris/Kabore combo that probably might be a better scenario for this week alone, but meh 2x Luton.

But yeah, two players I was very tentative on in the first place are the fall guys & my hearts in it at least lol.

"To differentiate, team-mate Fabian Schar (£5.0m) could cover his clean sheets whilst gaining massive ground when attacking returns arrive."

When's that then? Paying 0.5 extra because somebody who doesn't score goals has more shots than someone else who doesn't score goals doesn't seem like a sound strategy.

The impression I got was Amrabat played inverted LB because it was a needs must. No other left back to replace Regulion. Amrabat normally a midfielder/central defence very rare he plays left back.
Regulion also on corners by the way.

There are so many differentials and they’re exciting to choose/consider because it’s something different and the fixtures look promising.

But it seems like midfield is the position many (including myself) are going for with these low-owned picks. Fixtures look great for Villa, Newcastle, WH but I feel like a midfield of Maddison, Son, Saka, + Bruno is set and forget.

Adding Salah on WC means needing these sub 7m differentials but so many transfers are going to be focused on chopping and changing the midfield, the position that scores most points. I see both sides but there’s no way I can know who of Bowen, Diaby, Watkins, JWP, Gordon, is going to be the one to have.

There doesn't have to be a "the one" to have though. I'd like to think that I've gone against the grain for the most part this season as I generally do and I'm doing fine. I missed all of Estupiñan, Mitoma, Mbeumo and Chilwell's hauls and I've also only captained Haaland twice, but I had the likes of Diaby, Salah, Andersen and Udogie picking points up for me instead. There isn't a unified way to get points (ignoring Haaland)

    3. rozzo
      • 12 Years

      Mitoma set and forget

Brighton have the most shots and they score the most goals

He might not score as many as Bowen, Diaby etc over the course of the next few weeks for example but he will over the course of the season

He is also highly owned so strangely enough the 2 best midfield picks, Salah and Son are somewhat differentials

Along with Saka and Maddison that's midfield sorted for the season, focus transfers on second striker and defence

I am planning to WC in gw 10..would you do any of these moves for a hit this gw?

    A Rash to Son -4
B Saka to Son -4 (assuming Saka is fit)
C Rash to Son FT next gw
D Saka to Son FT next gw

I would just hold. If Saka stays fit, he seems like a longterm keep

    Start 3

    Virgil/Estup/Cash/Botman/Beyer(dgw)

    currently on Estup/Virgil/Botman

Have Mitoma and Watkins vs Cash and Estup. Don't want to "cancel out" returns, but playing Estup currently in hopes of attacking returns.

    Virgil > Beyer?

    Thanks,

Original thinking was Jackson > Morris this week, but the flags on Saka and Maddi are slightly worrying. Got Estu and Udogie on the bench for cover.

Would you stick to my planned move for now or do anything different?

    Pickford
    Chilwell Botman Kabore
    Salah Saka Maddison Mbuemo
    Haaland Alvarez Jackson

    Turner Estu Udogie Sarr

Thanks, only problem is the fixture for Udogie, but that's only one player and only happens if both Saka and Maddi don't start. So think I'll stick for now

Just this GW only...Which option scores more? If B scores more, then I will switch Alvarez + Morris to Watkins + Archer so as to avoid booking a transfer to remove Morris in the coming GWs.

    A) Alvarez + Morris
    B) Watkins + Estu + 4 points

    Current WC squad:
    Areola
    Botman Trippier Kabore
    Salah Saka Madders JWP
    Haaland Alvarez Morris

    Neto Estu Nakamba Udogie

It's Wednesday, probably find out before their game at the weekend in their Press Conference when that's held.

All you need to do is wait until then if you can...

    Pickford Turner
    Botman Estu Cash
    Salah Saka Sterling Doku Rashford
    Haaland Morris

    Turner Udogie Baldock Mubama

Used FT for Chilwell > Botman. Worth taking a -4 to do Sterling > Bowen/Maddison or Saka > Son (if Saka is out)?
