He's not wrong tbf - 2 dodgy pens make up half of his goal involvement and only 1 goal in the last 6 games. Brentford have also only won one game out of 8 this season, and have lost 3 on the bounce.

Might not be nuanced, but it's pretty accurate.

"Arteta says Rice, Martinelli, Trossard and Saka all haven't trained yet. Session later today. Saya Saliba also had a knock."

      Gotta love Arteta.

One thing is for sure, whoever is taking a hit to get Saka out may regret it.

I'd say Saka is doubtful and Martenelli and Trossard.

One could play but it's speculation and depends on a later assessment today and match day too.

    Repost bc got bottomed:

Next week i'm thinking of going Pinnock >> Porro, which leaves me 6.3 to transfer Morris out. Archer is my other forward who I will rotate with other striker based on fixtures.

Was going to go Edouard, but looks like that's not an option.

    Options now are probably:

    Stick with Morris (bad)
    Ferguson (rotation)
    Antonio (inconsistent)

OR the ultimate left-field choice -- Dominic Calvert Lewin

Thoughts? None of them look particularly appealing... Any other options??

    Guys, help me. My squad:

    Pickford - Turner
    Chilwell - Gvardiol - Estupinan - Udogie - Kabore
    Sterling - Mbeumo - Rashford - Saka - Barnes
Alvarez - Haaland - Joao Pedro

    From 500k before GW4 to 3,5kk before GW7.

    Wildcard - yes or no?

        @Bobby - 1 FT and 3 mln ITB.

I want to go for Newcastle defense, Villa players for incoming fixtures (Cash & Diaby?), prepare for Liverpool from GW9 (Salah?) and surely Son before Luton's game.

Saka, Trossard and one other haven't trained and aren't available currently but will be assessed today for selection tomorrow.

    Sounds doubtful but it's possible.

Asked if the Saka consecutive record was a consideration he said it's good when players are happy and want to play. If Saka used it as a reason for tomorrow, but he's still got to be assessed.

A journalist also set up Arteta nicely to confirm the starting goalkeepers name starts with an R. An answer for the season!

Quite unsure on how to utilize my 2 FT's this week.
Leaning towards Son & Schar in for Saka & Chilwell, but just a little bit concerned about not having the right Luton defender and/or Morris.
Is Morris worth -4? surely not??

    Areola (Leno)
Botman* / Cash / Luton Anderson (Udogie / Chilwell*)
    Diaby / Saka* / Salah / Mbeumo / Mads*
    Alvarez / Haaland (Archer)

yeah, in an hour or two.

11 ish then he can be assessed.

if he doesn't train it's unlikely he's playing tomorrow.

a training ground photo will leave the door open but he's there to be assessed anyway.

    b) Schar
    c) White / Saliba

    Leaning towards A...

No idea what BT and Sky are playing at, but one quirk of so many teams playing on Saturday is that it gives me/you the opportunity to bring in Son on Saturday night before his inevitable price rise to 9.3 (and 9.4 soon after).

Yes there are UCL fixtures midweek, but Son on Saturday is about as safe as you're going to get for a popular early transfer.

I'd say bring Son in tonight ... even for a hit.

Reluctant to use wildcard even with the news Saka hasn't trained. Would you have Colwill or Neto as first sub?

    Onana
    Trippier / Gvardiol / Estupinan
    Fernandes / Son / Saka / Mbuemo
    Haaland / Morris / Watkins

    Turner / Colwill / Neto / Baldock

If you've got Son you could roll.

      Probably Bowen at the moment.

Keep Saka risking Udogie comes in place of him?
    Removing would mean -4.
