    What are people’s plans for GW18? Are you going to be free hitting? Just looking at my team and would potentially have Salah, Saka, Gabriel & Tsimikas in the same game

      Using my bench ad waiting for a DGW to use Free hit.

      People will play guys like Salah and Saka no matter the fixture, players like Gabriel and Tsimikas can be covered by the bench. GW18 will have to be planned for though.

        Surely if you’ve got Mbuemo and Haaland you’ll have to play Gabriel & Tsimikas?

          Personally I have Saliba who I will probably play just because he has been so reliable but Mbeumo, Haaland and Tsimikas will covered. Depends on how many transfer you have available, 2 will easily be enough. Free hit can definitely be saved for a DGW.

    4. Dangles

      Gotta use the bench. Free Hit is way more valuable in a DGW near the end of the season

      Archer to Semenyo (if he's still starting by then) for GW18 should give me this 4-4-2:

      Dubravka
      James Porro Lascelles Coufal
      Salah (V)Son Saka Gordon
      (C)Watkins Semenyo
      .
      Areola Tsimikas Haaland Mbeumo

      Skipping the FH, I think I always use that for one of the two biggest DGWs... BB in the other of the two biggest DGWs, TC in a smaller DGW

    6. The Left Duke #3
      • 11 Years
      2 years, 2 days ago

      I wouldn't FH. Use your FT and bench to get ready for it.
      Everyone will be in the same boat. Save FH for the bigger DGW down the road.

      I currently have Mbeumo Haaland Alvarez, will prob get rid of Mbeumo for Sterling or something like that and bench the City assets.

      Sure Lpool Arsenal could end up 0-0. I'd just play all 4 and see how it works out. Punt on Capt in the Newcastle match or Villa maybe.

    1.3m ITB and 2 FT

    Raya
    Trippier Gabriel Tsimikas
    Mbuemo Salah Gordon Bowen Diaby
    Watkins Haaland

    Areola Lascelles Cash Archer

    Would you rather
    A) Diaby & Cash --> Saka & Trusty
    B) Diaby & Cash --> Palmer/Hwang/Kulu/Foden??? & Pedro Porro

    Saka's rise last night has made me 0.1 short of Charlie Taylor annoyingly.

    So long term would you rather have Saka and a trash bench or Pedro Porro and a mediocre 5th Mid?

    Current/ potential Dubravka owners to keep an eye on.

    De Gea is a free agent and can be signed any time. Also note Dubravka was loaned out by Howe last season.

    Newcastle are considering their options, including a possible move for free agent David de Gea, as they await the results of scans on Nick Pope’s shoulder injury.

      They -can- sign De Gea before January too... but only if the league gives them an exemption.

      Given they already have Dubravka & Karius in the wings I'm not sure how likely that is... but money does talk lol.

      De Gea cannot be registered in PL squad until January, unless they receive a special exemption from the league.

      They could get that PL permission IF they hadn't any GK or only had junior GK in the squad, but Dubra is a senior GK, international GK there is ZERO chance.

          Not sure on how that applies. Sure, the wages would be considerably high but with no signing fee... the problem I see is DeGea would want more than a 6 months contract for sure and then you end up with DeGea and Pope...

      Tbh he probably came on because of the pen, giving one your main attacking players a rest for someone not completely fit is much safer with a 2 goal lead instead of just a 1 goal lead.

    So I did the following 2 transfers last week for a -4 hit and blew all my budget on bringing Haaland back in.
    Son (10 pts) & Watkins (11 pts) -->> Mbeumo (5 pts) & Haaland (7pts) - 4 pt hit = 13 pt loss on transfer

    A week after doing Bowen to Eze transfer and left Gordon double digit haul on the bench.
    This game can be a head wreck.

    Somehow still managed a green arrow from 388k --> 267k so on we go

    1 FT 0.0 ITB
    Areola Turner
    Trent Gabriel Livramento Taylor Baldock
    Salah Saka Gordon Mbeumo Eze*
    Haaland Nunez Alvarez

    Eze to Palmer seems logical right? Especially with rotation with quick turnaround?
