Hmm tough. Seems like the right time to sell Cash but who for...? Tsimikas is great this week but don't see many CS after that. Porro/James too expensive. Maybe just Lascelles/Livramento?

I think I agree, mate. I think it's either Livramento or hold it and take it on the chin should Cash be a disaster.

I would roll if you can't get to Porro or James. No other defender has the upside that would warrant a transfer right now in my opinion.

Ddg wouldn’t be able to be registered until January as they’ve reached the 25 man squad limit and they have two senior goalkeepers at the club already so won’t be deemed an emergency.

If they did go down that route I'd suggest as an agent to either Dubravka & Karius that they seriously need to find another club. Would be a goalie glove across the face to either.

What’s the rationale behind thinking Darwin is gonna get benched?

Fixture congestion? He had a rest recently. Poor finishing? Maybe but Klopp loves his energy/work rate - e.g., keeping the move alive that resulted in TAA goal two touches later.

I’m gonna throw good points after bad and captain him again this week.

    1. HarveyKendallBall
      • 2 Years

I think he’ll start and come off early when the game is won. By which point he could easily have a haul.

Fixture congestion and Gakpo due a start.

Not like taking Darwin out reduces their chances of beating SHU.

I'd still expect Darwin to get 30 mins, during which he could get a few points, but sure as hell wouldn't be captaining the clown.

Gakpo due a start in terms of good player-management from Klopp or ‘cos his/Darwin’s form warrants it?

Haha yer the captaincy is pushing it. I am so far behind, tho’, that it doesn’t really matter at this point. I need a big rank jump and he could (absolutely won’t) provide it.

This, although (and I'm no expert) as someone said above, they are already at the 25-man squad limit, so they'd need to present the case for it being an emergency to the FA to have it done before the window, which given they have 2 active goalkeepers still there is a long-shot.

Haha right? I just don’t make time for it.

Do you like football? Genuinely curious, considering you don't watch games.

It’s a good question haha I think I prefer FPL to football. I don’t make time for it and would prioritise loads of other sports in terms of playing/watching.

Guess I understand your POV then. I love it, have since I was like 5-6 years old. So I'm all in, as much as I can.

Yer I used to love it. Watching every prem game I could and being a big Liverpool fan; and playing loads of nets/five-a-side. Sorta just drifted away from the actual sport over the years and now find a lot of aspects infuriating/disgusting.

I have a weird relationship with this game. I'm either hyper-fixated, sifting through data, weighing up future moves, planning like a madman in my spreadsheet. Or I'm just completely ignoring it and not paying attention for a few weeks.

There was a private FPL forum that I enjoyed, but I had to leave because I wasn't commenting for a while and I received a warning from the admin - I think they wanted constantly active members.

But I'm like that with everything. All in or nothing. I have intense interests.

This is very much where I’m at. I go all in on stuff. When I first started playing FPL, I dedicated a lot of time and energy, and did very well. Have given the game 10% of that attention and effort in the intervening seasons, and have been atrocious.

Have you been assessed for ADHD by any chance?

Interesting. I'm currently on a waiting list for an ASD diagnosis. They said 12 months ago the list was 11 months long, so should be any day now. But in the screening they said they were pretty sure I had it.

It's possible I have both I guess. During my friend's ASD assessment they said he had ADHD too, so it's possible. I'll find out soon anyway.

          Okay sure. Thanks! 🙂

I'll drop an email tomorrow. I've had a long exhausting day and didn't sleep at all last night, so I don't think I can process all that social interaction tonight - it's a lot for my brain on a good day.

Salah. Sheff United are one of the worst premier league teams of all time.
