Do you think Cash will be benched?

    My defence needs help:

    Gabriel: Away to Villa
    Tsimikas: Rotation Risk
Cash: likely benched & away to Arsenal
    Mitchell: Hip Injury
    Taylor: away to Brighton

    Best option:
    A) Mitchell/Cash to Porro (-4)
    B) Mitchell/Cash to Colwill (-4)
    C) Mitchell/Cash to Walker (-4)
    D) Don’t take the hit

Anything worth a -4 here? Keepers and Defence are in tatters.

    Areola

    Salah, Saka, Martinelli, Gordon, Palmer
    Haaland, Watkins

    Turner, Archer, Cash, Burn

Thing is, can’t get Dubravka as already have 3 NEW, and any upgrade makes Cash -> Trippier next week tricky. Think I’m just gonna roll the dice and hope Areola starts - doesn’t sound like he’ll be out for long if he’s out at all.

    start:

    1. Kane Train

Spurs don’t keep clean sheets so wouldn’t bother taking a hit for Porro

if you want porro long term worth the hit just so its done and he should outscore lascelles/taylor this gw at least

there were some doubts about his fitness, not sure how much truth in them

      1. Kane Train
        • 10 Years

Porro has to keep a clean sheet to outscore Lascelles for the hit to be worth it. Both will score 2pts IMO. Not worth a hit

        1. F4L
          • 10 Years
          2 years, 2 days ago

yeah agreed. its just sometimes best to take the hit in defence, as next GW there's likely to be some fire to put out in the front 7/8 and you never get round to doing the defensive transfer. the hit doesnt have to pay back straight away, but over time it becomes worth it

Son speaking to SpursPlay after the West Ham game:

“Son failed to finish the match with West Ham after he was substituted in the 88th minute. Tottenham's top goalscorer limped off after a blow to the back, but was hopeful of being fit for Sunday's visit of top-four rivals Newcastle.

He added: "Yeah I hope so. I had a big kick on my back, in the bone so we'll see. I didn't have time to assess so we'll see what happens. Look, we have to bounce back as strong as ever and it is another home game.

"I know it sounds crazy five games in a row. I hope it was a good lesson and look we have to take the loss and there is no time to regret what we done. There is no time to regret so we have to move on, put the chest out, take the responsibility and Sunday we have to make a big step forward.”

If I had to predict I think he’ll play.

But as an owner I don’t like the fixture, or the fact he might be playing through pain and get subbed early

I think he'll play. Being sore is not injury.
