Can't be sure but since he only played 25 at Brentford and sparked the comeback. Still some risk but could be a big payoff.

'unavailable', which has a much higher threshold. Expect 0.2-0.3 drops. Anymore will be surprising. 0.2m drop each is the most likely scenario based on previous data.

    Re: Haaland.

A journalist confirmed him out of Friday's final along with KDB and Doku. Do you think he's gonna party with City when they win and then be in good condition to start for a game 5 days later?

Surely everyone holding Haaland now is just wildly optimistic and is only doing so because they are holding Salah and/or Son because they bought them for 12.5/9 respectively? City are playing Everton a week today.

      1. Evil Greg

I've got Salah and Son at base, no qualms selling Salah in 20 if I have to. Might even not get him back. Look what happened last time, it took ages for Salah to get his form back after AFCON.

Egypt and South Korea are 95% likely to cause Salah and Son to miss Gameweek 21 & 22. I personally think 23 is also near enough guaranteed where Son will likely come against Iran who are similarly ranked and could lose. Salah has to most likely play the 3rd place side of groups A, C or D if they win their group which looks nailed on.

        3 gameweeks = 0.3 drop

Salah goes from 13.3 to 13, selling price from base = 0.2m loss.

        Son goes from 9.8 to 9.5, selling price 9.4 = 0.1m loss.

Why are people keeping them again?

Haaland is an easy sell for me until we see him play again. As for the other two, I'm in a similar position to you and am tempted to hold one (probably Son) just in case (the price changes seem to be more volatile at this stage in the season than in previous years but I also never trust FPL Towers' jiggery-pokery).

I hope they do soon! We have weekly leagues which we're waiting for gwk 17 to update so the payouts can be done.

On a side note don't know why content creators are suggesting points may stick if no decision is made by the deadline. Surely the game will be replayed in it's entirety? So surely they should just make a decision to scrap the points?

He is having howlers each game now. Not in a good mental space

Livramento hasn't put a foot wrong and can play RB. Hence I think Burn being back means Howe has option to start Livra over Trippier and play the form guy

Burn-Botman-Lascelles-Livramento seems like logical back 4 for the weekend. That's not a knock on Trippier but he's exhausted and carrying a bit of injury. Would be sensible management. Obviously Trippier is easily first choice right back all things being equal but it would be a kindness to give him additional rest

With Burn and Botman back and Trippier being out of form, what is the likely back four going to be for Newcastle this week? Livramento and Lascelles to lose their places?

Depends if Howe thinks Botman can do 90 minutes. I'd guess Trippier, Lascelles, Botman and Burn. That would allow Livra to play further forward if needed for Gordon. I don't think I've ever seen Burn play RCB, and Botman has said before that its not his position, so Lascelles may keep his place. Just my thoughts.

Do you have a playing goalkeeper?

      I've lost track of Flekken.

Just got to hope Areola starts this week. Unwilling to use a FT on that position though tbh.

          Why?

After 2 weeks it's paid back and it could drag on 6 weeks at which point you've shot yourself in the proverbials!

Flekken is blanking this week, WOL cry NFO his next 3?

              Fair enough

I was wondering if he'd been dropped too.

I'd do the move because I don't think you can play Taylor often but you could get lucky.

Villa and Brighton highest clean sheet odds for the next round of matches and Villa, Spurs and Newcastle the higher probabilities for goals.

Did a double take when I saw Brighton's name alongside high CS odds. Seems from the tweet that Newcastle, Fulham and Chelsea all understandably have better CS odds than Brighton.

The chance for a favourable punt (on Palace scoring) vanished as soon as it appeared

There's a clean sheet % if you zoom into the table...

        Villa 47%
        Newcastle 37%
        Brighton 30%

When I first looked it looked like 38%.

This is spread market data and different to what G posts here.

        Oh yeah

        Fulham and Chelsea too

        I'd seen it as 38%

Tbf, even I had initially seen it as 38% too! But my brain refused to believe my eyes and on closer inspection, the prob was much lower. Sorry if at all the post came across as nit-picking or pointing out mistakes for the sake of it, just in case

It's getting worryingly close to the deadline and still no news on the Bournemouth Luton replay. FPL towers must be getting frustrated with the Premier league, now. All the Premier have to do is confirm whether the game will be replayed in full or just the final 30mins (unlikely).

I can't see them allowing the teams to settle for a draw. How would that be fair on the other relegation candidates?

That might all be true but typically they take weeks on rearranged fixtures.

The amount of people who thought it would happen this week or play a refreshed 28 min charge is kinda crazy.

      FPL is a sideshow.

The Premier League works in it's interest.

It's possible there's an announcement by PL this week but it's more likely that FPL decides how to operate it's game sooner.

They don't have to set a date for the replay, but just announce that there will be one.
I think the PL has sme responsibility to the FPL - they are intrinsically linked and it is very very easy for the PL to make an announcement now (that it will be dealt with in due course) so that FPL can amend the points correctly.

Otherwise, there is a real risk that FPL keep the points as they are, with no bonus points assigned and therefore sitting on the fence in terms of a decision. What a joke that would be.

Why do pl need to confirm this quickly? They don't have a gw18 deadline 🙂

I'd have expected the league to come and say that the match would be replayed in full at a later date, to be arranged before the end of the season. We don't know what's happening in the background. Maybe Bournemouth and Luton are lobbying for the score to stand or something else, and it needs the rest of the clubs to vote on. There is far less rush for the league, who have until the end of the season to resolve.

Looks like FPL might have to put their big boy/girl pants on and decide tomorrow what they are doing about FPL points.

I bet they don't make a big boy/girl decision and just leave the points as they are. 6 points for Solanke. No Bonus. A middle-ground. No real decision made.

I’d have thought game gets replayed so just wipe the points. Promote the bench and move on.

Pep Guardiola on #ManCity's FIFA #ClubWC final plans:

    "Sleep, sleep, and sleep!
The pitch condition was not really good. But we know how that business works. Now we have to rest.

They [Fluminense] had one more day. We'll have a day off, dinner together, create an environment..."

Pep Guardiola: "The players know how important it is for Man City.

To be in this final you have to do incredible things, win the #UCL. This may be the only time we play this in our lifetime. Tomorrow we start to watch Fluminense and try do a good performance..."

Fifth midfield slot open and currently trying to decide between:
      A) Gordon (if any news he plays)
      B) Palmer
      C) Richarlison (have Son)
      D) Kulu (have Son)

      Cheers.
