Hi all, any suggestions for the 2FTs? And is the bench fine for this GW?

    Raya
Walker - Gabriel - Pedro Porro - Pau
    Son (VC) - Saka - Salah (C)
    J.Alvarez - Solanke - Watkins

    Bench: Dubravka, Palmer, Gusto, Andreas
    £1.7 ITB, 2 FT

I'd try to play Palmer. Probably ahead of Gabriel.

There's also an argument for Gusto ahead of Porro as Gusto offers both assist and clean sheet potential.

Luton at home has had a good record so far. Porro being in a stronger team and heavily involved in attacks. Gabriel I think can be considered, especially because I have Raya as well. Thanks for the input guys.

Seeing you have Raya as well, I'd definitely bench Gabriel and play Palmer.

    Would you:

    A) Martinelli > Foden
    B) Save and play Martinelli. Use 2fts next week to chip Son and Salah.

Foden for me but depends on what you will do with the extra funds if going for Bilva

Depends when you think Haaland and KDB are back as this will impact Foden's role

      Bilva is nailed.
Foden's mins are at risk when KDB returns.

I'm trying to weigh up the pros and cons of this, myself.

None of them are nailed let’s be honest. Bilva could drop out and Foden can play RW sometimes instead. Man City mids are de facto a minutes risk

    Current transfer thoughts:

    - Save FT
    - Archer to Alvarez (bench Saliba)

Save FT is the sensible move to deal with Haaland and Son/Salah. However it may be a bit passive and Alvarez (c) in seems a bit more aggressive and potential short term upside move.

    1FT 3.6ITB
    Areola
    TAA Saliba Gabriel Porro
    Salah Saka Palmer Son
    Solanke Watkins
    (Dubravka Gordon Taylor Archer)

Currently in a bad position, pulled the trigger on a FH (Something I may come to regret, but it's done now) and, I was thinking that the DGW players I'll want will probably be City assets anyway, which I can work towards if I plan accordingly.

Given I've already pulled the trigger, thought I'd throw a few differentials in there.

    Honest thoughts on the below;

    Areola

    Estu Ake TAA
    Salah Son Odegaard Foden (C)
    Solanke Alvarez Watkins

    Dubravka D.Luiz Gusto Palmer

    Other options

Bowen instead of Ode (but thought Ode could be a nice differential).

Also, not 100% on Estu, but again thought I may aswell go differential

You might want to go more differential and play the fixtures more.

Many will have 7 or 8 of those anyway.

        Solanke Alvarez Watkins

And maybe play D.Luiz, that being said I think Solanke does well against spurs. Especially after last night.

If you've gambled on a FH, you might as well go all in on:

      GK (?)
      TAA - Porro - Moreno - Estu
      BSilva - Foden - Salah
      Alvarez - Wood - Solanke

I wonder if we should be using form more to decide our captaincy choices. Salah and Watkins haven't been doing it lately and players like TAA and Solanke have been very consistent. If this week feels a good one to take a punt where would you go outside of the obvious picks?

        Not sure it does.

David Moyes remains uncertain whether Mohammed Kudus will feature due to his impending involvement at the African Cup of Nations. 'I can't give you an answer on that either. We've not had confirmation on any of our African Nations players on their join-up dates, which is very unusual. Mo is a very important player, so we're hoping there is a chance he could be available to face Brighton.'

Well the latest is because Ghana have moved their training camp back to the 2nd jan it is likely they are going to accommodate kudus playing on the 2nd jan for us

But moyes said earlier he has no idea if he will play or not yet because he hasn’t been told

This seems like one of those weeks where I have nothing I would like to do with my transfers but have 2FTs in the bank. Next gw is probably where I would want to use 3 transfers, if only.
