So who will play RW for lvpool?

Darwin, Diaz, Gakpo all play either LW or ST

Jota or Elliot I would think.

Elliot would be my guess if there was to be one particular player to get a majority of minutes there

Good grief I could do with some solid advice here

    Current team
    Areola
    Taa Porro gab Saliba
    Gordon Saka Palmer
    Watkins Alvarez Nunez

    Dub Tark Salah Son
    0.5 itb 1ft

Plan was to hold last week but did archer to Alvarez

If haaland is back im considering

A Nunez Salah Son to Haaland Bowen Richarlison-8 343
B Nunez Salah to Haaland Bernardo or Gross -4 343
C try switching to 352 again?

Ideally want below team long term
    Taa porro Estup
    Salah son saka palmer Gordon
    Watkins Haaland

Dam I’m 1.9m off this team so taa may need to go or drop Gordon to 4.2 and play 442

Thinking way too far ahead most probably

Great team id probably just downgrade TAA to afford it

          Agree

I’m leaning towards option A as it leaves enough 1.8 itb for Bowen/saka to salah and Trent to 5.0 or less when the Egyptian king returns

Just B imo. Or get Haaland and Garnacho and then upgrade Gordon or injured player for free bext week?

Thanks for your reply, avoiding a -8 would be good. Also garnacho helps re structure

B looks best to me. A transfers are fine but costs a bit too much IMO.

I'm highly considering a wildcard. With Salah/Son out. Haaland in, and Trippier injured, there's quite a few transfers I would like to make. I think a lot of us are in the same boat.

If I have to get Haaland in, it's -8. But that alone doesn't warrant WC.

Absolutely we are all same boat

I’m considering the wc too tbh just a little worried about blank gws or dgws to come with wc

Ideally I would make 5 transfers this week so avoiding a -12 might be worth it

        1. HashAttack

I really didn't like having to WC last week, but it feels a lot better now. I kept and captained Salah for a gain of 16 points, so taking a -4 to get rid off him was built into the WC

Glad it worked out for u

I generally prefer a “squeezed team” with max funds in my starting 11. Now find myself with a 343 formation benching Gordon and with his fixtures upcoming I want a 352

I’m torn between wildcard and taking a -4 or -8 this week

Usually wouldn’t stress and pick the most fun option but my or is decent this season

Think you would miss that WC later on in the season - can we pretend that Son and Salah have BGW, so the transfers are really only -2 each 🙂

We can pretend all we want 🙂

I personally have no idea when the blank Gws and dgws are coming up

All I’ve heard is possible double for city Brentford Bournemouth Luton before gw26? And possibly Liverpool but I’m currently more concerned about minimising hits as i navigate

I actually pulled the trigger on that same move.
With the maths of being able to add back week by week Haaland, Son and Salah.

      It's a maths game 😉

Tripper is a beast and a bonus point magnet, now he’s a bit rested he’ll start hauling after the next couple of difficult fixtures, mark my words. Pervis one to watch at the moment

Anyone know why Pickford was benched for an important cup game?

I own Pickford and Dubravka but don't know who to start next gameweek.

It was a cup game. Teams often give the reserve keeper the cup games to keep them involved. It wasn't anywhere near as important as the the Prem

I'd start Pickford. I don't think I'd ever start a keeper v Man City, especially with KDB and Haaland likely back. I don't think either will keep a cs though

    Alvarez to Haaland, assuming fit?

    Areola
    Trent, Zinchenko, Porro.
    Bowen, Saka, Palmer, Richarlison
    Watkins, Solanke, Alvarez*
    (Dubravka, Taylor, Lascelles, Son)
    1ft. Plenty of cash.

I can’t figure out whether to get rid of Solanke or Alvarez.
      City have the better fixtures.
There is an assumption Alvarez gets less minutes when Haaland and KDB are back. That’s probably true and my lead me to losing him over Solanke.

Looking at the standard Salah & Son to Bowen & Foden AND (-4)

    A. Lascelles to TAA

    B. Kluivert to Richarlison

      A for me.
Richarlison is on form but I just don’t like him as a pick. Maybe he sustains this form but I don’t see it. Most season TAA out points him easily.

Yeah, I prefer the Trent one too, the argument for the mids was that it gives me all the options people are going for so I wouldn't be hurt by getting the wrong one.

Having a front 3 of Haaland, Watkins and Solanke currently means that having 5 good midfielders probably isn't a great idea though.

I will need 3 moves to get Haaland and Salah back when needed giving the following.
Missing the likes of Son KDB and Saka
    A. Suggested changes
    B. Should I keep Solanke and dump Alvarez’s or stay with the planned triple City attack.

    Neto

    TAA Estupinan Porro

    Salah Foden Bowen Palmer

    Haaland Watkins Alvarez

    Kelleher Gusto Baldock Anderson
