Who are the best Jota replacements in FPL?

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers were already looking for midfield replacements, knowing that Diogo Jota (£8.3m), Cole Palmer (£5.8m) and Richarlison (£7.1m) would all blank in Gameweek 26.

But the Jota exodus has now escalated after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Liverpool’s Portuguese attacker will be injured for “months”.

2.5 million owners were horrified to see Jota depart the first match of Double Gameweek 25 before half-time. He’s now become a priority sale and luckily, numerous appealing candidates can step in.

Ignoring the template names of Bukayo Saka (£9.0m), Phil Foden (£8.1m) and Kevin De Bruyne (£10.8m) – selected by 81.8%, 80.2% and 45.9% of the top 100k respectively – here are some of the best Jota replacements.

      Might as well go as far to say Watkins is essential with the hauls he gets.
      The only thing is he's not on penalties but considering his EO, it's quite costly not owning him.

Have just 3 in place for GW29 and trying to avoid FH that week...

Was planning on a Bowen/Kudus/Bailey or Dougie... but sheesh Hwang is extremely tempting. I think I will hold on for FA cup results... because if they are playing I will dead end with some hits and then wildcard into 30.

It’s only 0.1 but every little helps with my poor team value when it comes to my next wildcard (30/31)

No free hit 29 so thinking Bowen. I know lots are selling but the fixtures are good, and they particularly 28 when others have tricky fixtures

Am I crazy to go for Bowen as a Jota replacement?

1) BRE, BUR and EVE in the next 3
2) Confirmed GW29 fixture
3) Paqueta's return should boost his appeal

Only concern is I have already bought him 2 times this season and he has been a flop both times....This is the third time I am getting trolled for Bowen....Not sure what to do?

What would you do for gw26?

a) Darwin > Watkins(nfo) for -4 and bench Saliba(new)

b) play Saliba, go without Watkins and leave Darwin sitting on bench
