The minimum number off games going ahead is 4, which means the maximum number of blanks is 6, so the table is correct

Andoni Iraola on Dominic Solanke absence, injury: "It was related to his fitness.

"He wasn't feeling well to play - had some issues in the knee. I hope it's nothing big. He was the first one that we didn't want to risk.

"Now, we have to assess him and see if he can play on the weekend [at Burnley].

"I hope Dom can recover and help us against Burnley."

Exact (very similar) quote from Iraola on Solanke in his post-match interview with afcb tv:

      Bit more from Sky:

"He wasn't feeling well and he has some issues in the knee. He wasn't ready to be involved today.

He has had an MRI today [Tuesday], so we have to see what he has, assess him, see how he wakes up tomorrow and then we will see. I hope it's not something big and he can help us in the next games."

I haven’t been keeping up today but just seen Maguire is injured. This didn't seem to be in the earlier presser. More chance for a Forest win tomorrow and a rout v City?

Correction - interview was after his presser.

Which player are you referring to?

"In an exclusive MUTV interview at Carrington, the manager provided a full update on his plans, having earlier confirmed at his press conference that Casemiro is fit and available, despite a head knock on Saturday against Fulham."

I was particularly interested in Maguire as he’s in my team. The ongoing groin injury is referred to here but actually it’s not stated as being his current injury so not sure

            https://www.footballreporting.com/premier-league/harry-maguire-is-ruled-out-of-man-uniteds-fa-cup-fifth-round-clash-against-nottingham-forest-due-to-injury-with-erik-ten-hag-also-swweating-on-the-fitness-of-bruno-fernandes-and-raphael-varane/

I don't think we have information to state the current injury is linked to the previous groin issue.

MEN think it's a knock from the Fulham game.

"He is thought to have sustained a knock in the latter stages of Saturday’s defeat to Fulham, albeit played through to the final whistle."

They have an injury list rivalling Liverpool including no decent striker and decimated defence. I’d say Forest might be favourites , especially with home advantage

Potential Solanke injury means I have to play Hwang.

Not a bad week for bench player to come in.

Although I feel that most players will have a decent bench player to fill in if they had Solanke.

    Front 7:

    Hwang Saka Son Palmer Bowen
    Watkins Haaland

Template, perhaps. Very happy with this midfield. Just missing Salah.

Chelsea losing and Manchester United winning would still make the FH worth it in my view.

Arsenal playing in gw29 devalues the chip.

Yesterday's results already mean fewer blanks in gw34 and fewer doubles in gw37 as a consequence.

Why so many people are looking for reasons to avoid playing it baffles me. It's the perfect chip for a big blank, otherwise you'd need two big double game weeks to deploy a dgwBB and then FH into another one.

Otherwise you need some kind of suspension crises or short term injury to use it for your team. 10 bookings is a 2 game suspension so that wouldn't work, they would not be aligned like a bgw anyway.

I've always been on FH29 and I hope it's still on.

    As is, is fine too.

      Sorry * other way around...

Chelsea winning so Arsenal isn't on and Manchester United losing in the FA Cup would give you a FH into their game against Sheffield United.

Some would just build into a Manchester United line up but I'd rather not go there myself.

Various factors have contributed for delaying FH for me.

      1) I have already got some of the key FH29 players in Toney, Porro and Bowen.
      2) FH in DGW34/37 allows to triple up on Man City(and some of the other teams) without having to carry them in other weeks.
      3) FH34/37 is the easiest way to field the best possible side in a DGW without having to worry about injuries/suspensions/transfer plans which allows to concentrate on SGW.

You can obviously manage to have all this with transfers but I prefer to go aggressive in last set of fixtures and FH/WC certainly helps with that. Its almost like fielding a new and strong side every week from GW34-38.

Fair enough, I'd prefer to wildcard in gw32/33 and BB37.

it's good for the game if there's a few different routes in play with chip usage.

Do you not want to carry Manchester City because of multiple competitions and rotation late into the season?

The title challenge is likely to go to the wire.

They'll be in their swing to win it.

Like KDB assisting Haaland for four of his five yesterday.

Yeah, too much rotation at City. Triple Liverpool and Arsenal is more reliable. At City, we are lucky to catch their hauls but eventually, it evens out over a stretch of 4-5 games due to rotation.

Yeah, Salah's consistency usually beat Kev's higher ceiling but less starts and fewer minutes.

This season might be a bit different with injuries to Salah as well as KDB.

Solanke was clearly in pain during the game on the weekend. It looked like he fell on his knee and twisted it. But as he carried on playing, I thought it was minor.

Well. Will keep him out for Burnley and play Haaland instead.

No FH29 means people may ditch Man City assets for Spurs or West Ham players ahead of the Manchester United game on Sunday.

    Losing Foden could be foolish.

At the moment blank gw29 is still disruptive.
