Played my WC in 28, which bizarrely might turn out ok given the low scoring week. On 33 with 5 in the bournemouth luton game

For this week I currently have 10, but dilemma is whether to bring in Toney for Solanke for free to give me 11.

    Current team:
    Areola
    Reguillon / Udogie / Doughty
    Bowen / Son / Kudus / Maddison
    Watkins / Morris

    Neto / Sake / Solanke / Gabriel

    A) Bring in Toney for Solanke for free, means Salah in 30, Haaland & Plamer 31 (-4)
    B) Leave as it and roll transfer and do Salah, Haaland & Palmer in for free

I'd want Palmer in 30 if that helps. Couldn't you get Toney then -8 in 30?

I can do Toney in, and then Salah and Palmer in for 30 for a -4.

Haaland would then be in for free in 31

Just realised B) is a hit unless WCing.
Would you be selling Toney? Really need a big haul this week from Toney to make it worthwhile unless playing vs United is an option.

B would be for free. Wc was played this week.

            Roll in 29
1 FT in 30 for Salah in for Bowen
2 FT in 31 for Haaland and Palmer in for Watkins & Maddison

So basically it comes down to if Toney -4 is worth playing with 10 this week. Would be happy to play Toney against United.

Even if you pick the most expensive team available, it'll still come in under £100m (even if you ignore the 3 player limit)

      Martinez - Vicario
      Porro - Moreno - Romero - Udogie - Doughty
      Son - Maddison - Bowen - Kulusevski - Kudus
      Watkins - Toney - Werner

Why does it matter how much you spend? It's about a team who you think will score the most points.

    Currently

    Areola
    Kabore-Udogie
    Bowen
    Watkins-Morris

Was all set on FH but now thinking take a -4 and field 7 or 8 might be ok.
Son is a definite but which is better
    A) Neto>Maddison
    B) Haaland>Toney (and accept probably no Haaland until at least WC, though it does make Salah an easy get in 30).

    Cheers guys.

      When would you WC? 31?

if so I would be comfortable not going with Haaland until 31 with the blank and Arsenal. However I am a little biased having taken Haaland out this week so maybe a few more opinions will help too

Only got three players for 29 - just tried a rough FH team and gave up after getting to eight names... Such dreadful fixtures.

Anyone else like me (no FH29) who has planning to WC31 but wondering if WC30 might not be all that different?

Could bench Arsenal defenders for the City game in 30 and I’d only have Son from Spurs v Luton, but the rest would be pretty much the same.

    One to consider…

Nice one. You could double or triple up on Liverpool a week early, you’d still want a lot of Arsenal and City players even if they play each other in 30, and players like benched defenders (Gusto, Richards, Branthwaite etc) would have decent fixtures in 30

Another reason to consider is the quite tight turnaround between 30 and 31 which may be too short for some people

Could be more rotation too with the short gap to GW31.

Good point. Quite nice wildcarding out of an international break

Not sure about that, maybe the GW after. Could have a lovely WC team after international break but players could be rested, not back in time, hungover, etc.

I was thinking of going through other way, I could have Haaland, Salah, Son, Saka with an Arsenal and City defender to push my WC further back.

      FH 34

FH34 for me too. Definite advantages to a WC31 but it might just be that my squad would benefit more from doing it a week earlier

"Be aware that when playing your Free Hit chip, any free transfers carried over from previous Gameweeks will be lost. You will be back to the usual one free transfer for the following Gameweek.

Also, if you use your free transfer and then subsequently decide to play the Free Hit chip, you will lose the initial signing you made."

So we lose saved transfers and that gameweek's free transfer?

Always 1 FT the week after a FH or WC

Yeah that part I get but seems like we lose the free transfer too even if we do it same gameweek before hitting free hit which I wasn't expecting

You sacrifice your 1FT to make unlimited Gameweek transfers

    Areola
    Doughty Porro Cash
    Son Maddison Foden* Garnacho*
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    (Dub* Saka* Gabriel* Saliba* )

    GW29
    Solanke to Toney
Garnacho to Bowen -4 (10 players)

    GW30
    Saka/Foden/Bowen to Salah

    GW31 WC

    Thoughts on this plan?
Should I sell Foden this week to make the decision easier for GW30?
On paper he has the worst fixture in GW30 and I will have to pay 0.1-0.2m to buy him back on WC.

    Kaminski
    Porro Doughty Moreno* Reguilon*
    Bowen Son
    Watkins Toney Morris

1FT to field 11 this week (2 doubts)

    A. Foden/Saka to Maddison
    B. Ake to Udogie

A probably foden but hard to guess who scores more the next few gameweeks. Value invested important too as you may well need both long term

What's the odds of another Solanke pen miss (/ YC) - the non-Solanke gamble has worked out so far...

      You'll probably get caught eventually...

He'll probably get 1 on Wednesday to match Haaland in the epic double game weeks we've enjoyed.
