Bit of a way to go but will you keep saka and Salah for WC gw35 ?

Probably just Saka. Will be very hard to have Saka, Salah Son and Haaland if you're targeting bb37

Jota's return can only hurt Diaz/Darwin minutes, Salah will definitely stay in first XI. That's the only reason I'll keep him and penalties ofc. Between Saka and Havertz(only mid from ARS we can consider), it's same story like Salah-Diaz

Stick with Mateta for DGW34 or go for Cunha instead?

Sá or Neto or Henderson? Henderson means no Muñoz.
    Sá means no Cunha.

Just looking for a few more opinions here as I’m truly stuck.

With 2FT’s I am literally left stumped and blocked as to what I can even do here and really don’t wanna burn a free.

    Dubravka
    Gabriel - VVD - Saliba
    Palmer - Saka - Salah - Son
    Solanke - Haaland - Darwin

It’s the nothing in the bank that is screwing me over, and I need to keep Son for NEW.
I’d of taken a punt on Ortega but Ederson is back now.

Just dead ending into 34, WC’ing 35 (FH already used along with TC)
Best just to burn a FT?

no worries mate, we can't be on here all the time every day.

I would consider a BB this week as only hits but more chance of scoring and due to more rotation in 37 I I had the choice i'd do it now.

My reply is long below as the guys asked for more details but no response.

          It is long lol.

Fabianski is a great shout if not though.

If Haaland isn't playing (I we are 100% sure, I would do Cunha or Mateta (to bench), or any double striker, there is not too many, or Son to Havertz if he starts. and upgrade Baldock to a Munoz (next week) or RAN

And do a Hit for Palmer to Eze or Olise and maybe a Pickford Henderson keeper.

Its just alternatives in case you haven't looked there, as you are only a -8 for a BB, but the BB37 is much better and you can keep a Saka, Salah, or a Arsenal defender if you want to BB34.

I honestly don't like triple Man Utd or any Brighton for GW37 (or triple Chelsea) but as they have two doubles can understand that.

I would do Palmer/Son moves if you have so much value it compromises GW37 too much, but it just an alternative thought as you were stuck and I prefer GW34 fixtures over 37

Who is the best likely saka replacement? Fh34. Bb37

A....Gordon (and eventually do darwin to hojlund)

B....Bruno (and likely to darwin to pedro)

Dont think a defender (Gusto GK) gets a CS for Chelsea, and Jackson doesn't score much but I would do it 3-1-2 in that order.

      Or if you do WC35

Has to be Morris to another Striker. Maybe Alverez?

I am currently 2nd in one mini-league (which is the competitive one), old Yahoo Fantasy football group. The guy in 4th won it last year in the top 200, and I did win it in the top 1k during Covid (eye test helped a lot lol)

The guy in 3rd is a bit of a always boasts when he does well and but never congratulates others, so I hope he doesn't win lol

11 points behind with a BB left over him over the leader, I don't think he has won it before.

        https://www.livefpl.net/leagues/143200

About 80 point in the other one, so should be fine.

        https://www.livefpl.net/leagues/700180

Sorry if it is too detailed as it would cost 10K to Andy at Lets talk FPL

The team at the moment is

        Neto (turner)
        Gabriel, VVD, Gusto (Estu, Doherty)
Saka Salah (c) Foden, Son, Palmer
        Darwin Solanke (Muniz)
        5.1 ITB 1FT

        WC35 BB37

        Unless of course I WC33 BB34.

        But probably too Late.

        Midfield is Palmer CP 6.1, SP 5.7 PP5.4), Son (CP 10.1 SP 9.8 PP9.4) and Foden CP(8.3, SP 7.9, PP7.6 .

Lots of Value to lose but I should be OK, if not I will keep (Foden and bench him and go Mateta instead of Olise/Havertz or Saliba/White for Estu.

Should have got in Havertz last week, very annoyed at me,

This week I will probably do

        A. Muniz to Mateta. (and bench)
        B Son to Havertz. (play)
        C. Foden to Havertz. (play)
        D. Estu to Munoz (and bench)
E Estu to White/Saliba this week (forget Havertz- tripple Arsenal and go double Palace midfield)
        F. Roll and take a hit next week
G WC is still an option
        H. Take a hit in defense or midfield. Shall I do a -8 regardless for 11 DGW players

Olise will be back for GW34. Hopefully, an Eze rest will do him good, he is knackered

        For a -8 I would get I will do

        Neto
Gabriel White (Or Munoz) VVD (Gusto Doherty)
Salah (c) Saka Eze Havertz (Son or play Olise)
Muniz (or play Mateta), Darwin Solanke

I think I will stick with the Haalandlandless play as it does take a hit to bring him and Bench him

I put the sell prices in as I can sell Palmer OK, but Foden may be the best one depending on team news.

Sorry for the long post, but the league is as tight as a camel arse in a sandstorm.

They'll most likely play 4-3-3 against Sheffield which is Frank's preferred formation against low-mid table sides, with Toney, Mbemuo and one of Schade or Wissa up top.

I think the double-up is worth it given the opposition. (and bench Muniz who I think could lose more minutes to Jimenez this week).

    Another reason for a BB34 FH37 strategy:
34 has a mix of teams doubling so relatively easy to get 15 decent players, all doubling, in a squad.
Much harder to get the players you'd want in 37 - more of the 'top' teams are doubling and the players you'd want are more expensive. But the option of filling bench with 3.8 non players, on a one-off FH, makes the finances much easier.

      Yeah.

There's no point trying to reason either way anymore ...

      Just play your own game.

It's good that there's at least two broad routes and permutations on those.

    2. theodosios
      • 8 Years

People overlook the fact that the best clubs for potential BB play against each other, so defense will mostly rely on the same players - offensive backs, and thus most teams will look the same because they will mostly use the same players both in attack and in midfield. We should also consider that it is not impossible that by the 37th round, many things will already be known - who has dropped out, who will play in Europe, and perhaps even the title race. In my opinion, FH is a much more effective option than BB

    3. Conners
      • 7 Years
      1 year, 8 months ago

There's also the fact that the teams doubling in 37 are more rotation-prone than those in 34 (Brighton & City especially) making a BB trickier to pull off successfully.

    4. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years

As always its team dependant. Teams may not be set up with 15 doublers to BB34. FH34 allows folks to ignore 34 and use FTs to setup BB37

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 7 Years
        1 year, 8 months ago

Although you don't have to BB34 with all doublers...

    5. GreennRed
      • 14 Years
      1 year, 8 months ago

Hard to get 15 doublers together for GW34 with a limited number of teams, most of them not good, with a few more GWs after that to get some better players back in. Many FPL players think a DGW turns out of form players into form just because they've two games in a week. Reality is, at the end of a long season, most players would rather not play every minute of both games and chances of picking 15 players that will play both games, never mind do well in them, are slim. GW34 BB isn't a bad plan but not all doublers I think. Unless you've a WC left going for broke with 15 doublers could leave you taking plenty of hits for GWs 35,36,38.

Considering a -4 for GW34. Feels it could go either way.

Leno, Foden + Saliba to Pickford, Robertson + Havertz?

Beginners question but please give me an answer.

    I have one ft.
If I save it now on 33 and play my fh on 34, will I have 2 or 1 free on 35?

Sorry for the long post, but the league is as tight as a camel arse in a sandstorm.lol

        Hi mate

        Thanks for responding

Yeah really who should I sell.

        A defender for Arsenal defender
B a midfielder to a Arsenal Harvertz Sell Foden or Son?
        C. Mateta for Muniz and bench him
        D. Next week is a -8 worth for Palace 3 Palace players

B If Foden is out, sell him.

          If not, A imo!

Thanks sloopy, cheers i was asleep mate

I will sell Foden if he is out, but I did ask the question last week and benched him, and should of perhaps bought Havertz ( a DGW instead of Muniz), who I may play this week against a tired West Ham defense.

I’m on Haaland. If he starts he’ll score (you’d think). If he genuinely needs a rest he’s unlikely to be subbed on.

Salah. They both seem off their best but Salah’s getting lots of shots in; I’m not sure that’s true of Haaland.

    What would you do with this team, 2 ft, 0.6 itb and only BB left and thinking about using it in gw37;

    Petrovic, Neto
Gabriel, Udogie, Gusto, Ait Nouri, Lascelles
    Salah, Saka, Son, Palmer, Diaz
    Haaland, Solanke, Muniz

Selling Udogie and/or Lascelles for someone like Munoz/Branthwaite

    1. BusbySwede
      • 8 Years

And thinking of doing Son & Muniz to Darwin & Havertz or Eze..

I was thinking Son to Liv/Ars midfield but thinking he might score more than them this week and could hold the transfer to give more flex next week.

If that appeals, can you get from Udogie to White without a hit? Then pencil in Son and Muniz to Eze and Darwin next week (subject to injuries etc)?

        1. BusbySwede
          • 8 Years

Yeah a bit scary to loose Son now, therefore my plan is to sell him 34 and maybe buy back in 35 for Salah..

Already have 2ft so have to do one transfer at least.
Cant do a straight switch Udogie -> White, missing 0.3 so have to make another transfer then to make the funds..
