i know both are poor defences, but i'd rather have petrovic or vicario, probably get similar points but petro much cheaper, pedro is a nice pick!

sanchez is the cup keeper i think, he played in fa cup quarters, plus he's injured currently, don't think he becomes number one now

I'd have more Arsenal and less Spurs.

          Also swerve Man City.

Trippier a bit of a punt too. Trent might be better?

          Good luck

same structure as yours, few different personnel, Schar instead of burn & gvardiol over ruben as he seems more attacking & got his rest in the cup game

I would go Porro over Ruben....he has got more attacking potential...With Ruben, you will always fear about the starting lineup....if you really want a city defender, go for ederson....I like Hojlund and I also have him in my team....just hope he starts firing now

Having a glance at next week, unsure of who to get rid of for Gordon. Likely needs to be Ødegaard or Havertz but Spurs could be a great fixture for both. Was leaning Ødegaard but feels like it could be the type of game that suits him and Havertz having to play deeper with Jesus back isn't great, but similarly he's still getting chances. I'd consider losing Salah but Liverpool have Spurs the week after

I had Darwin, Saka and Havertz to Isak, Son and Gordon pencilled in, but I’m not sure not with how bad Spurs are.

i'd say Havertz, Ode more nailed and his goal tally no where near what it was last season, I expect a flurry of goals from Ode in these final matches.

I trust what I've been seeing lately of Salah, Haaland and Saka all looking a bit flat. Don't think a benching is going to change that much for any of them - unless it freshens them up for the following fixture.

    What do people think about....

Foden and Garnacho versus KDB and Fernandes?

I quite like the former not the latter and going cheap and keeping a lot of cash in the bank in case I need to get Salah in one move.

I have a terrible rank again this season and my scout membership is not really getting results for me. I don't intend on cancelling it but has anyone tried the ultra service on Fantasy football hub where each gameweek you get 1-2-1 strategy calls with big FPL names like Rich Clarke and Adam Hopcroft to review your team? Think it costs about £40 or £50 a month.

Or should I just try and get my head around how FPL review works?

White, Gabriel, Schar, RAN, Gusto would be my five defenders if I could make unlimited changes now, even with BB37

Could have been Gvardiol over Gabriel, but I'm less confident in him now that Ake and co are back

I consider Spurs defence a no-go area until GW38 vs Sheffield. Ange won't change the way they play, and they're about to play that same way with Davies and Royal as their full-backs for the run-in

      1. Gizzachance

Even with Burnley an sheff for spurs, still wouldn’t to confident of a cs!
Sooner punt on another spurs mid, madds, Johnson rich if back, as more chance of them scoring more pts than a def, worse case same!
Those with no w/c an keep ars def/double def will still do well over spurs def with doubles I think
City def is always a gamble/lottery who ever you get
        Cheers

Seems that 99% of WC's look almost identical, bar the odd GK and defender.

    Petrovic +1
Newc def - Chelsea def - Arsenal def x 2 - United def
Foden - Gordon - Son - Palmer - United Mid
    Haaland - Isak - Hojlund / Pedro

Not intended as criticism, just questioning how / where the gains can be made with such a strong template?

      Yeah

Not sure FH34 is winning just yet either

Including the rank gains some managed in low scoring big blank FH29 or whenever it was.

Last one ever thanks to the blankers in charge of the professional game.

I didn't hear about that. Its a pity cause the blanks and doubles add to the game.

              I agree

              It gives it an edge

But along with no FA Cup replays to appease the clubs playing countless European games they'll be no Big Blank on the FA Cup quarter finals games because they've messed with the FA Cup week slots.

Presumably tho the 2 or 3 or even 4 teams competing in the FA Cup semis will be amongst the better performing Premier League teams at the time.

So there's a choice as such but they might just play later on as in this week.

              FPL will be more vanilla.

Fair comment Tony, although if my ML is anything to go by, most engaged players have already planned ahead for the end of season fixtures/doubles and are able to field something similar to the WC's I'm seeing.

Hi all, any thoughts on my wc team?

    Pickford
    Romero - Silva - Saliba
    Foden - (P)almer - Gordon - Son - Fernandes
    Isak - Jackson

    Onana, Haaland, Schar, Akanji

    0.2 itb

I'll probably only have jackson for the double, maybe then swap him for Hojlund.

I think Pickford will be a very good option in these final weeks tbh, everton flirting with relegation. I'll play him every week but 37
