A bit of a departure from the usual fare but hopefully some enjoyable nostalgia! Where else are you going to read about Miguel Britos today.

More nostalgia is welcomed, remember a gw like it was yesterday but it is atleast 10 years ago. Aguero played wolves or hull at home and RVP had chelsea away. Many did RVP>Aguero including me. Aguero had an assist while RVP scored 3 and assisted 2 or something like that. Pain. Also remember a week where neither rooney or drogba played a minute and was heavily captained. Had lampard vice captain and he scored 4 goals and an assist. Sweet.

Even as a Utd fan, I've always liked Klopp.

Thought he was a great bloke when he was at Dortmund, no reason to think otherwise just because he moved to Liverpool.

I'll miss him in the PL, though will be happy to be able to actually support him wherever he ends up next!

Thanks, enjoyed that one! I was weirdly confident ahead of that 4 goal salvo and so very nearly hit the TC. I don’t recall how my TC ultimately fared, but certainly not as well as that… one that got away!

    Salah Saka Son Palmer Foden
    Haaland Jackson Mateta

All at home apart from Son, playing weak defenses!

    White Gabriel Gvardiol
    Son Foden Palmer Garnacho
    Haaland Jackson Isak

    (Onana Gordon Porro Branthwaite)
    1FT & 4.6m

Garnacho to Saka or Havertz or Olise?

Inside the Top 7k would like a Top 5k but don’t wanna risk too much with my MLs.

    1FT 1.1 ITB

    Petrovic / Onana

Van de Ven Gabriel Gvardiol / Burn AN

Palmer Son Foden Saka / Bruno

    Isak Jackson Haaland (C)

What transfers could help me please?

My first thought is Raya in for Petrovic. (Don’t have enough for Saliba/White)

Hey guys, here's my current team:

    thanks 🙂

    Petrovic
    Gabriel Doughty Porro
    Foden Son Palmer KDB Garnacho
    Isak Haaland (c)
    Areola Wilson Reguilon Livramento

    0.4 itb 1ft

Fully appreciate KDB might play, if I get confirmation that he does, then I'll obviously keep him

    1. KDB (if out) and Wilson to Saka and Mateta for -4
    2. Garncho and Wilson to Johnson and Mateta for -4, bench Isak and play 352
    3. Garnacho and Wilson to Havertz and Mateta for -4
    4. KDB (if out) and Garnacho to Havertz and Olisie/Eze for -4 and play 352
    5. Other?

    best captain?

    a) Haaland
    b) Foden
    C) Son
    d) Palmer
    e) KDB (if he starts)

    thanks guys! 🙂

Have 2 ft and 1.2m itb. Is Bruno to Havertz one play? What should the other be ?

    Leno
    Gvardiol Reguilion Saliba

    Haaland Isak
    (Petrovic Watkins Gusto Brantwaite)

Even though I'm leading my ML* by 80 points I still have the urge to want to take a -8 to get players like Olise, Mateta & Salah just for some last week fun.

*ML is just for fun, nothing on the line other than pride practically.

Lovely time capsule article. There were a couple of other leak examples from previous years like that Salah one that backfired.

I remember Hazard and Aguero coming off the bench for hauls and chaos ensuing here.. missed one of those on a flight and remember feeling like I'd dodged a bullet after checking the score.

With Ederson out I'll either have to play Pickford (Ars A), or use my ft on getting in another GK (Raya prob.). Last option prohibits me from doing Gordon->Havertz, which was my original plan. Best course of action?

I'm in a similar boat, my other keeper is Areola. Very annoying! I'm tempted to just ignore it, hope for save points and go for an attacking move anyway. A hit involving a goalkeeper doesn't seem great in the final week.

I agree. Will probably do the same thing. Easy to loose that clean sheet anyway, and I'm chasing

    c) Isak to Mateta

    Best option?

    A) Bruno > Saka - means I play Isak.

    B) Bruno/Gordon > Saka/Olise (-4) means I bench Isak

Leading mini league by 8 points and my rival has Saka.

    Cheers.

Surely this of all weeks is the week to wait until Sunday, listen for leeks and make a last minute transfer (assuming the site doesn’t crash). No benefit in making decisions on Gordon, KDB, Isak, Saka now.

First off, I won't do any transfer before Sunday and wait as long as possible. But would appreciate help to decide what to do for the final week..

I'm current the leader in my ML, but just by 12 points.
Current team with 1 FT, 3.2 itb
    Petrovic
    Gabriel Gvardiol Burn
    KdB Bruno Palmer Havertz
    Haaland Isak Jackson

    Pickford Gordon Branthwaite RAN

The one in second place have Saka, Foden, Son, Saliba. I have instead Havertz, KdB, Bruno, Gvardiol.

Would you take a hit to bring in Salah or just do the one transfer?
Bruno out for Saka or Olise?
If we get news that KdB won't start, should it be Foden in?
Get a differential like Olise, or try to block the one chasing and just get someone like Saka?

    Best replacement for Gordon?

    A) Saka (safe)
    B) Havertz (slightly unconventional)
    C) Olise (bit of a maverick)

2nd in ML, way off top spot. In the final of my ML cup though, against a very template squad.
