That's the problem with having Salah and Haaland, the rest of your team suffers.

Foe me it has to be one or the other, so I'm hoping Foden can compensate enough for me not having Haaland.

I don't have both for that reason too. I'll avoid foden in gw1 since I think he'll be rested. If city had a better fixture I'd have been tempted to punt on grealish getting a start.

I think 8.5 on Odegaard could be better spent.

Hello lads! It's great to return to FPL, especially with the anticipation of a fantastic season ahead. The new changes are really good, especially these higher prices which guarantee that we won't have the same teams as last season. I know it's still early, but I have one question: Is there a chance we'll see a starting goalkeeper priced at 4.0m?

    1. Eyes of Blue

This. Brentford have just reduced their price for him. It suggests if he's still there at the start of the season, he won't be enthused to play, as was the case at the end of last season.

Who says you can't have em all as in the mighty trio of Salah, Coleman and Haaland. Here goes:

    Flekken
    VdV, Burn, Anderson
    Salah, Gordon, CHO, Palmer
    Wood, Isak, Haaland

    4.0, Faes, Har-Bellis, Winks

Yeah, I know defence ain't great and Wood is well, Wood. But first team I'm happy with all 3.

Very settled on this depending on pre-season:

    Pope
Trent - Van Dijk - Gvardiol
    Salah - Palmer - Gordon - Johnson - Garnacho
    Isak - Højlund
    (4m GK - Colwill - 4m DEF - 4.5m ST)

Other players I’m considering: Kudus / MGW instead of Garnacho

    1. Bartowski

No idea what you're basing that on, Højlund wasn't even nailed at the end of last season before they bought Zirkzee. And Garnacho was put on the naughty step for not doing the defensive work required and now he has Sancho back, who will definately get minutes in order to bring him back into the fold, as well as Diallo being too good to ignore.

He's been reintegrated into the team, Ten Hag has spoken about how good player he is, there's plenty of articles confirming this.

There's absolutely no chance Sancho starts over Garnacho. I'd wait and see how Ten Hag sets up with Zirkzee and Rasmus though.

Utd fan here so perhaps I can clear things up. I think very likely Sancho/ETH making up is to ensure we aren’t held to ransom in selling him. I think he still leaves and for a better fee. The more likely threat to Garnacho’s place is if Wirtz succeeds in forcing a move through to us. My understanding is that we’re not that interested and that if’s all coming from his side but if it happens, he could slot in in that position. Keep your eye on the transfer news

Oh there's 'absolutely no chance' the Champions League finalist who cost £75 million starts over a 20 year old at any point. I guess that must be true because you said 'absolutely no chance.'

Wirtz made a phone call to my sister in law from Africa & said he wanna join manchester united as he has a better chance of winning silverwares there.
Too bad they won’t let him go?! 🙁 but keep an eye on Musiala as he is currently spending his holiday in Manchester, wouldn’t surprise me if he begins training at Carrington rd 😉

Thanks for this - I just don’t see the Musiala deal happening given how stingy the Glazers are and I think he’d likely cost upwards of £100m. Maybe if he offered to pay part of the fee himself to force it through

                      Jokes on you!

6ft 0 in tall boy believed to be Musiala was seen fighting security guards at Carrington training centre while screaming “Let me in, I must join Manchester United whether you like it or not”

Personally I'd put the Haaland money into an arsenal attacker
