With 48 hours to go, there are still a few final tickets remaining for Fantasy Football Fest – the world’s largest gathering of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) enthusiasts.

That’s right: for the fourth year running, we’re inviting FPL managers to come to London and kick off the season in style.

BUY YOUR TICKET HERE

Final tickets remain for Friday's Fantasy Football Fest

Fantasy Football Fest will take place on Friday 16 August 2024. Starting in the traditional 15:00 slot, this event will carry on into the night.

It all takes place at Vauxhall Beer & Food Garden, located right by Vauxhall train station and very easy to get to.

This amazing new venue allows Fest ’24 to be the biggest and best yet. There’ll be a roundtable Q&A with some notable Fantasy luminaries, a comedy set, plus some competitions and games. All alongside a selection of food and drinks – one of which is free, thanks to Sleeper.

Of course, the main event will be the first FPL deadline of 2024/25 taking place at 18:30. Everyone can then unwind by watching Manchester United v Fulham on a big screen from 20:00.

You’ll be in the same place as big characters from the community like Mark Sutherns, Az Phillips, FPL Family and FPL Harry. Why not come and meet them?

We encourage mini-leagues to come along and kick off their season together, just like we encourage people to come alone. Fest has always been a very welcoming and inclusive event for all managers – even if your FPL team is rubbish!

Not heard anything about the Kadıoğlu rumours. Nothing from Romano. Probably would just get Barco and not worry about it if you want him.

Reports are coming out from Fenerbahce that they are looking at Reguilon as a replacement (reading this at turkish sport sites). So they seem like they are accepting the lose of Ferdi, also he didn't play yesterday which was a very important match for Mourinho and Fenerbahce this season.

I actually wanted him at MU.

If you changed Odegaard to Fernandes I would go with A.

      But as it stands, B.

  4. The Iceman

Any obvious changes you’d make here?

    Henderson
    TAA | Gvardiol | Hall
    Salah | Jota | Garnacho | ESR | Minteh
    Haaland | Isak

SUBS: Matthews | Robinson, Barco, Jebbison.

Garnacho is an easy swap to Nkunku if he doesn’t fire early on, but I really fancy him this season.

Leading with loving the chaos is maybe a touch crass given the possible situation.

                But equally, it's not weird.

It's weird because it's impossible to read "loving the chaos" without sounding like Heath Ledger from the Dark Knight or a 4chan basement dweller.

Pretty settled on my team, just have now last two spots to fill in midfield and front line with 14.5m to spend.

Leaning towards Havertz and 5.5-6.5 midfielders, any Arsenal fans around?
Is Havertz going to be a focal point of the attack?

    1. JBG

If you really want Arsenal attacker, than Havertz should be a good pick. I think Jesus might steal minutes from him as a CF, but probably when CL starts.

          ITB = 14.5

Is Jesus starting up front ahead of Havertz?

Option A (Midfielder) Saka (ARS) 10m & (forward) Jebbison (BOU) - no Solanke gone to Spurs could be an option?
          https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2024/08/12/fpl-pre-season-4-5m-forward-jebbison-scores-kluivert-on-pens

          ---
          Option B (Midfielder) Odegaard (ARS) 8.5m & 5.5m/6 m (option - possible ESM / ) 0.5 ITB

Martinelli has been the pick in pre season. He is also a few weeks in front of Saka in pre season, if that matters.

Wish I could help with this I'm currently on Hall, Gordon, and Solanke so I'm finding it very difficult to give you an answer ngl...

Would you consider Jota instead of Diaz?

        1. Genji3lade
          • 7 Years
          1 year, 3 months ago

Jota locked in my team and was considering the double up, do prefer him to Diaz.

          Rest of team is:

          Hendo
          TAA Gvardiol *** (Barco, Harwood)
          Jota Saka Eze *** (Sangare)
          Haaland Isak ***

Weak bench but want to focus on the XI.

Currently leaning Solanke, Rogers and Porro, but with Spurs fixtures from GW3 and Rogers potentially losing his spot it will likely induce early transfers.

Muniz, Gordon and Hall the alternative and provides better balance in midfield. But then no Spurs assets and Leicester do seem like one of the best teams to target atm

          Tough call, GL Whizz!

            Sounds decent!

If you're leaning towards A and worried about Rogers' minutes then you could downgrade Porro to a £5m or £4.5m and upgrade Rogers to ESR?

Well he's rumoured to be going to Liverpool, so not so sure about being a good FPL pick. Unless Alisson leaves, which I haven't seen any rumours about.

He's going on loan "if" he joins. Won't play for Liverpool until 2025 at least.

    Hi, keeper dilemma...
    I've got 9m to spend.

    1) Pickford and Virginia
    2) Rotating pair - Flekken/Henderson
    3) Just go Flekken and Valdimarsson and save the 0.5

    Thanks all

Would you have three rotating 4.0 defs and Winks to accommodate Bruno?

Or drop Bruno to Eze/Nkunku/Rashford to make it more balanced (say, a 5.0 def and Bobb/ESR)?

    Thanks!

Drop Bruno. The team will be more balanced that way.

    Poor Oscar Bobb.

Me and my mates were chatting about him the other day, looked great against us.

We then got chatting about footballers where they're only referred to by their full name (ie first name and surname). Muddy be loads but couldn't think of any others!

    Anyone?

Oscar Bobb has fractured a bone in his leg and set for prolonged spell on the sidelines. Yet to be fully assessed.

What is the likelihood of Harvey Elliott starting at the weekend?

If very little what about more than one of the games until the CL starts?
